The apartment is spacious and unique. It is located on the first floor of the house. Excellent location. It is situated in the very heart of the old town, less than a 5-minute walk to the beach and the promenade. Next to it, there is a children’s park with natural shade and a view of the sea. Towels, bed linens, and beach towels are changed every 3 days, while guests maintain hygiene. The hosts welcomed us with food gifts and bid us farewell with traditional presents. Mrs. Elena, always cheerful, was at our service for all historical information. The only drawback is the very small terrace, considering that the apartment has 2 bedrooms, as well as the absence of air conditioning in the living room.

We stayed in this apartment at the beginning of August 2022. We are a family of five with children aged 15, 12, and 7. For the first time, we spent our vacation feeling the comfort of our own home. The accommodation, which occupies the entire floor of the house, offered ample space for each family member to enjoy their stay. The windows were constantly open, thanks to the mosquito nets. A delightful fragrance of the garden and figs filled the air. In the morning, the calls of seagulls could be heard, while in the evening, music from a nearby tavern filled the atmosphere. The accommodation was equipped with a washing machine, a dishwasher, and all possible kitchen appliances, allowing everyone to relax. The bathroom was so inviting that everyone eagerly took showers. The location was just a two-minute leisurely walk from the city beach, making it wonderfully convenient and stress-free. The owners provided not only fresh linens and towels but also beach towels every three days. On the other hand, a two-minute leisurely walk in the opposite direction led to the vibrant center of this place, with all sorts of shops and taverns. The accommodation is surrounded by archaeological sites that add significance to the entire experience. Moreover, the extra attention we received from the apartment owners, who welcomed us with a basket of fruit and other provisions, was something we had never experienced before. The warm marble cake on the first morning and the farewell gifts further enriched our stay. I believe I have adequately described our experience in this accommodation.

The apartment is situated in an excellent location in Limenas, just a minute's walk from the Archaeological Museum and the main promenade. Most importantly, the owner of the apartment is exceptionally kind and you can reach out to her for anything you may need. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you could possibly require: an iron, a hairdryer, a completely furnished kitchen—truly, all praise.

After an exhaustive search for the ideal accommodation, we found exactly what we desired for our large family. A huge compliment to the apartment owners, as the welcome and stay were truly exceptional. Without reiterating everything that previous guests have written, we can simply say that everything is as described, and in one word, we are extremely satisfied. If we decide to return to Thassos, it will surely be again at the Hrisogelou apartment, as it provides the family with literally everything needed for a relaxing vacation, and you need not worry about whether you will have everything you need - they have it all! Once again, a heartfelt thank you to Eleni and her wonderful family for their hospitality.

I spent ten days with my family in a beautiful and very comfortable apartment with two bedrooms and a spacious living room. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, featuring a washing machine, a dishwasher, and all the other essentials that every well-equipped household should have, so we lacked for nothing. We had towels for bathing, washing, beach towels, and the bed linens and towels were changed every three days. In addition to all this, we enjoyed a yard with a slide for the children. Furthermore, I would like to wholeheartedly commend the hospitality of the landlady of this apartment. She was always ready to accommodate all our requests and answer our questions. We were welcomed as if we were family. The apartment was air-conditioned, and the fridge was stocked with various fruits, wine, jam, preserves, three types of coffee, and everything else we needed, including bread. The next morning, the landlady brought us a large cake. I am at a loss for words to express my appreciation for everything we experienced with the lovely and incredibly hospitable hostess. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to her, on behalf of myself and my family, and send her warm regards and wishes for good health, as well as to her family. This apartment comes highly recommended; you will feel as if you are at home.

We spent eight days in July 2018 in this beautiful apartment and have no complaints whatsoever. It is located on the first floor of a traditional stone house, in an exceptionally good position relative to the city center and the proximity to the beach. The apartment is tidy and beautifully arranged, equipped with many useful items needed for a family vacation. The kitchen comes with complete cookware, a dishwasher, a washing machine, an ironing board, and more. The landlady and her entire family are incredibly kind and helpful, and since we did not often encounter them, we felt right at home. This apartment comes highly recommended!

The apartment, or rather the three-bedroom flat, truly exceeded all our expectations. The description and pictures from your website, although you strive to faithfully convey the state of the accommodation, cannot capture how good this place really is. The apartment is very spacious, excellently furnished with decorative drop ceilings, lighting, carefully chosen details for wall and interior decoration, and good, new furniture. All of this together creates a very pleasant ambiance. It is important to note that it is literally located among archaeological excavations, which adds an extra charm to everything. Across the street, at the neighbors' courtyard, you gaze at the ancient city gate of the goddess on a cart. Two houses down is the Temple of Poseidon, where on your way to or from the beach, you can indulge in the sweetest figs from an ancient and enormous fig tree. A hundred meters away are the remains of the northern quarter of the ancient city, and a hundred meters behind the apartment are the remains of the ancient Agora. Thus, the surroundings are worth a million dollars. :)) The beach is also nearby, just a three-minute walk. We usually enjoyed settling at Seka's Aqua bar when we didn't drive to some more distant beaches. In the apartment, you have a washing machine at your disposal, so you don't have to lug dirty laundry home in bags. There is also a dishwasher, an ironing board, and an iron, if anyone needs them. The kitchen is reasonably equipped. A large stove with an oven, a microwave, and a coffee maker for filter coffee. Everything is clean and in order. I was particularly impressed by the comfortable large bathroom with a truly spacious shower cabin. You can comfortably shower as a couple and still have enough space. :)) The cleanliness in the apartment is at the highest level. Complete and detailed cleaning of the apartment is done every three days. Also, every three days, bed linens, hygiene towels, and beach towels are replaced, and if you need it, it can be done earlier upon request. This with the beach towels is of great help, especially for those who do not have a spacious trunk, as they need to use the space in the vehicle as rationally as possible, and large towels take up a lot of room. Plus, after three days they get stiff from the seawater, so they need washing, and will they dry by morning, etc. This way, you don't have to think about it. You always have clean, spacious, and thick beach towels available. Additionally, the bathroom is always stocked with sufficient quantities of quality shampoo and shower gel, solid and liquid soap, as well as hotel hygiene kits containing cotton swabs and other little things. Every ten days, you also receive new hotel room slippers. On the entrance terrace, you have two spacious clothes dryers hanging outside from the railing, and next to it, a basket with a sufficient number of clothespins. All of this speaks to the highly professional attitude of the hostess Elena towards her guests. Such as I have not encountered even in 4-star hotels. And since I mentioned her, I must dedicate a few words to that wonderful person. Our hostess Elena is a lovely, extremely kind, and accommodating person. She always strives to meet the guest's needs while remaining unobtrusive. She speaks excellent English. So you won't have any trouble communicating with her. For our welcome, she prepared a full large basket of assorted fruits (peaches, oranges, melon, watermelon...), basic groceries in the fridge (eggs, butter, milk for coffee, and some other things) so that we wouldn't have to rush to the market immediately from the car. Furthermore, a jar of honey, a jar of cherry jam, a loaf of bread, and a package of rusks, full containers for salt, sugar, coffee, and plus a spare package of quality filter coffee with more than enough filters. She literally thought of everything. Of course, she also did not forget that other cake mentioned earlier, of excellent taste, which is homemade, not store-bought (she gave my wife the recipe ;) ). Additionally, one morning she brought us a full plate of pie with cheese, just out of the oven, with a fantastic taste for breakfast. On the penultimate day, she invited us for dinner. We spent a very pleasant evening in the company of Elena and her husband Grigorios, who prepared an excellent barbecue. You won't find such good souvlaki anywhere in local eateries. Yummy! :)) There were also various other savory and sweet delicacies that Elena prepared, and we washed it all down with some of their delicious herbal wine. Furthermore, I asked Elena to recommend which honey to buy, from which producer, so that I wouldn't get sold a pig in a poke, as I know very well how honey is made by feeding bees sugar, and then a small amount of real honey is mixed in for flavor. Since I had already bought pine honey, I was looking for real thyme honey, which is not cheap at all (15€ per kilo in stores). She not only gave me a recommendation but also contacted a beekeeper in Potamia through her mother, who brought us honey to Limenas, and it was 5 € cheaper per kilogram than what is in stores. Fantastic people. Thank them for everything! They will always and everywhere have my recommendation for accommodation in Thassos.

Hello... we arrived from Tasos on 08.09.2016. After settling in and reflecting on our experience, I decided to write some lovely words about our accommodation. Upon our arrival, the landlady welcomed us and showed us the apartment. As soon as she opened the door, we were immediately delighted. There were two families with two small children aged 1 and 2 years. For our welcome, we were greeted with sweets, honey, fruit, juices, water, butter, jam, and uzo. The next morning, someone rang the doorbell, and a woman brought in a cake. Towels were replaced every three days for the beach, bathing, and of course, our faces, and the bedding was fresh and the apartment was thoroughly cleaned. In a word, it was WONDERFUL!

Hello! We have just returned from Thassos! We were guests at the Hrisogelou apartments and we are completely thrilled. Everything is exactly as depicted in the pictures, if not better. Exceptionally comfortable and clean, equipped with all the necessary amenities. Although we have been vacationing in Thassos for over 20 years, we have never experienced such an exceptional accommodation. Mrs. Elena is a wonderful young woman, always ready to assist you at any moment. We were welcomed like best friends, with a chilled apartment, fruits, and wine on the table, and the next morning we were surprised with an entire cake. Our entire stay will be remembered for a long time, and we will certainly return. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!
