Our description

Hotel Galini is a quality accommodation, located in the mere center of the town, near pedestrian zone with all the shops and restaurants. Also, the advantage of this hotel is that, even though it is in the center, it has a small backyard with shades.

Hotel Galini, with two stars, is located in the strict center of Limenas, on a corner of Dekatis Ogdois Oktovriu street, which is pedestrian and shopping area, and Theagenous street, which comes out to a new port (area where is police station, public parking on the coast, taxi stations, amusement parks...), next to market Arvanitidis, above the goldsmiths Stauropoulos and a branch of EFG bank. From the sea the hotel is 80 meters, from the main beach is about 400-500 meters (path by the sea).

On the ground floor is a reception, a smaller hall and entrance/exit to the rear courtyard hotels, paved, with sitting furniture under the vines.

Tourists can use 16 rooms - double rooms (with double bed) and triple (two joined single beds and a convertible sofa), whose side balconies overlook the street or the sea or on the street side of the hotel or on the courtyard in the back of the hotel. The size of the double rooms is 14m2 and 15m2 are the triple rooms. The apartment (25m2) has a double bed in the bedroom while there is a folding sofa bed in the living room. A single room (11m2) has a double bed.

Cleaning is done daily, and the replacement of sheets and towels is done every three days.

Parking is available along the street outside the hotel, although there is always a big crowd, or on a public parking lot on the coast, outside the police station (fifty meters from the hotel).

After disembarking from the ferry, if you go on foot, the hotel can be reached in a few minutes, moving towards the left towards the town center, police station, taxi station, amusement park. However, if you arrived by car to Thassos, you have to drive to the opposite side of the hotel (to the right of the ferry landing), and tour a circle around the town center, and go down to the new port, a police station, amusement park... given that the street from the ferry landing is one-way street leading to the street where the hotel is, so you can not drive directly to the hotel (it’s the opposite direction).

If you need accommodations in the heart of the city, next to the promenade, next to shops, supermarkets, restaurants, taverns and all the entertainment that offers a small town, then this hotel is an excellent choice.

Hotel Galini is located in the center of the capital city of Thasos Island and offers you many opportunities of fun and insouciance. Here, your vacation are full of comfort and relaxation, while you are just a few steps away from cafeterias, bars, restaurants and super-markets. You can also browse among a plethora of archaeological sites and visit the archaeological museum of Thasos Town. Our hotel provides you with all basic amenities and you will definitely be amazed by the stunning, unique view of the Aegean Sea. It's the ideal destination for you, if you don`t want to waste your time driving since the beach and all taverns are just a few minutes away from our hotel. Our hotel consists of 16 rooms, 13 doubles and 3 triples (which can take 2 adults and 1 extra adult). Our rooms have air-condition, TV, telephone (on charge), free WiFi but also unlimited view of the Aegean Sea. Just across from the hotel, there is free parking.

The location of the hotel is in the center of the town, very close to taverns, cafeterias, banks, and also to the town market. The beach is just a few meters away, where you can relax in amazing beach bars while visiting the picturesque Old Port. In addition, around the hotel area are super-markets, bakeries and snack bars. Last but not least, there is a playground for our little visitors close to the hotel.

Limenas is the beautiful capital city of Thasos with the homonymous port, which is connected with the town of Keramoti. A trip in the city offers unique experiences to its visitors. It is located on the north side of the island, opposite the mainland, and you can see Kavala and beautiful Samothraki on sunny days. Here is the place where Thasian culture developed during ancient times and there is a plethora of archaeological sites and museums that can give you information about it. The environment of the town is amazing, with descending hills and mountains covered with pinewoods and groves with olive trees. So, in Limenas is hosting the majority of the public services and is also the commercial center of the north side of the island. In the center of the town is located the new ,but also the old, port of the island from which are carried out schedules to Keramoti and Kavala. There are many cafeterias and taverns on the coastline but also in the pedestrian-zed streets of Limenas. There you will find lots of small stores, where you can buy souvenirs and unique, local products. There are many wonderful beaches along its coastline, as well as outside the town, farther along the coast. A beach, just behind the old harbor, bordered by a row of beach bars, cafes and restaurants is a shallow and sandy beach that has been awarded a Blue Flag.
