** Akti Hotel is ideal for couples or groups of friends who like to stay in the center of the city, dine in restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and at the striking places in the city, go shopping, go out for a night out and have literally everyone amenities offered by one tourist destination are within easy reach. It is an excellent choice even for those who arrive in Thassos without their car and without the ability to rent it, since everything that tourists need is a minute or a few minutes walk from the hotel (promenade, shops, taverns), and quite decent city beach is about 500 meters away. **

The 3-star Hotel Akti is located in the heart of Limenas, in a street by the sea, in a row that houses Timoleon and Possidon Hotels and the police station, across from the public parking lot. It is 500 meters away from the city beach and is located in the first row to the sea. The first shop and bakery are located 100m from the accommodation.

On the ground floor, there is a reception and a small lobby. The hotel also has an elevator. It has a total of 15 rooms for two and three people.

In double rooms, there are either two single beds or one double bed. Nine rooms have balconies with direct sea views, three rooms have balconies overlooking the back of the hotel, while three rooms have no balconies. The rooms are decent in size, not luxurious but quite OK, cozy and clean. The furniture and equipment in all the rooms are the same. So they all have typical, hotel wooden furniture, a smaller TV, air conditioning, mini bar, coffee maker, safe, hairdryer and telephone.

The bathrooms are smaller, of medium quality, with a shower, a step higher than the room level (we emphasize this because of the older guests and the children). Baby cots are allowed, and permission to bring a pet must be requested.

Cleaning is done daily and towels and linen are changed and every 3-4 days.

The Internet has not yet been introduced, but it is planned.

Medium-sized public parking is across the street from the hotel and a large public parking lot next to the new port is a hundred meters from the hotel. Both parking lots are free. In the heat of the tourist season, and especially in the evening, it can easily happen that all the places are filled.

After disembarking from the ferry, if you are walking, you can reach the hotel in a few minutes, heading left towards the city center, police station, amusement park, old port, city beach. However, if you arrive by Thassos by car, you can park it in the large public parking lot to the left of the new port, a hundred meters from the hotel and then continue on foot to the hotel, or if you wish to park closer to the hotel in the public parking lot across the street, you must drive to the opposite side of the hotel (to the right of the landing from the ferry), then go round the town center and descend towards the sea, since the street leading from the hotel to the new port is one-way, so you cannot drive it from the new port directly to the parking in front of the hotel (opposite direction).

If you want to stay in the center of the city, with everything at your fingertips and within walking distance, Akti Hotel is a great choice.

Limenas is also great as a base for touring the island as it is very close to the most beautiful beaches like Marble (6km), Makryammos (2km), La Skala (4km), Pachys (8km).
