The accommodation is top-notch, exceptionally clean. The owners are incredibly kind and truly made an effort for us when we were leaving for home (at 5 AM); they were in the yard to greet us and wish us a safe journey, which really left a strong impression on us. All praise, and we will definitely return to Villa Maria.

An apartment for four people - clean, with a spacious terrace. During our ten-day stay, the towels were changed three times. The only downside is that the air conditioning is only in one room, and that room also has a refrigerator that tends to heat up. However, for that price - it’s an excellent offer! It is conveniently close to the center yet still tucked away. The shared terrace and pool are also quite lovely.

Close to the beach and the center, the location is excellent. We parked our car on the street, and there was no crowd despite it being the season. The studio we stayed in was sufficient for us, equipped with all the necessary amenities. Since we arrived at the accommodation with our small baby during the intense heat, we enjoyed swimming in the pool. For those who do not seek luxury but rather a decent and clean accommodation near the center and the beach, this is the right place.

A solid accommodation, clean, just a few minutes from the nearest beach. There is parking space available (right next to the fence in a dead-end street, by the entrance to the property). The owner is very kind and accommodating. The nearest beaches may not be the most beautiful on Thassos, but you can drive in 5 minutes to nearby beaches with crystal-clear water (e.g., Pefkari). An excellent location for an evening stroll or a night out at the local cafes!

The accommodation is decent, and cleanliness is commendable both in the rooms and in the courtyard and pool area. The rooms are simple and practical, while the beds and pillows are somewhat firm for our taste. The bathroom is clean but lacks a curtain, resulting in a flood after each shower. The air conditioning works well. The terrace is a bit cramped for three chairs, and from apartment number 4, there is a view of the church, which can ring quite loudly due to its proximity, yet there is no noise from the street or restaurants.

The villa is situated in an excellent location, secluded from the noise of Potos yet right in the center. The cleanliness is top-notch. During our ten-day stay, they changed our linens three times. The hosts are wonderful people, especially towards children. When we were heading home, my daughter received gifts from the hosts. The quality of the people is best illustrated by the fact that when I had a car breakdown, the host personally took me to the mechanic and offered to lend me his car. The rooms look better in person than in the pictures. All in all, it exceeded our expectations.

Excellent accommodation, renovated and refurbished rooms, the location is satisfactory, and a special advantage of the villa is that it has secured parking, which we were unaware of and was truly a pleasant surprise for us. However, I must mention that rooms numbered 1, 3, and 5 have a view of the wall, while rooms 2 and 4 offer a decent view. We made our payment 8 months in advance and left it to the agency representatives to choose a room for us, requesting one with a nice view. We received room number 5, which is satisfactory compared to rooms 1 and 3.

A very good accommodation in an excellent location. It is close to the street, yet sufficiently sheltered to avoid disturbances from noise. However, the church is nearby, so the bells may occasionally wake you up :) The accommodation is clean, tidy, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. Nonetheless, the accommodation is not particularly well insulated against noise, so you may often hear your neighbors around you.

First and foremost, the accommodation is exceptionally clean, situated in the center yet peaceful and quiet. The hosts are wonderful—they provided excellent parking advice and resolved a plumbing issue within an hour. The location is perfect for visiting the best beaches in Thassos; everything is close for shopping, and there are also restaurants and pastry shops nearby. The price during peak season is quite reasonable. Regarding comments about children, our daughter is older and does not make noise, so we are not a typical example. The hostess is kind. It is the hostess's job to ensure guests enjoy peace and quiet... It is the parents' job to keep the children engaged, learning, and quiet; the truth lies somewhere in between. In any case, we would return here without any hesitation.

The accommodation is satisfactory. The only issue related to the accommodation is the shower, as there is no curtain or anything similar, resulting in a flood in the bathroom after showering or bathing, which requires an additional ten minutes to clean up the water. If you are traveling with children, be prepared for exceptional unpleasantness from the owner, who is an extremely grumpy person and cannot comprehend why small children (up to 7 years old) need to run and shout while playing. This was an exceedingly uncomfortable situation. This unpleasantness left a strong impression on my family and me, and for that reason, I advise all potential guests traveling with children to skip this accommodation. Beautiful and immaculate. The charming garden is arranged with great love. The rooms are somewhat smaller than depicted in the pictures. It would be beneficial to include the square footage of the studio/apartment. The hosts are kind and warm-hearted. Our little girl and our friends' daughter received filled bags of seashells as a keepsake from the hosts upon departure.

In August 2013, I was with my boyfriend, for the second time at the same accommodation. The villa is decent, the rooms have old furniture, but they are clean. It is just a minute's walk from the center of Potos and the hustle and bustle, yet it is tucked away in a quiet and serene location. There is a small pool for those who enjoy... All in all, I highly recommend it.

We vacationed as a family, accompanied by two other families, our relatives and friends, at the same owners' property. Everything was very correct; one cannot expect anything spectacular in Greece. The accommodation and hygiene were satisfactory, and the owners of the property were exceptionally kind. We appreciated the existence of the Nikana Discount card, which is commendable, and we used it quite a bit. Considering that this is Greece, when all is said and done, we are satisfied. We are utterly disappointed with the accommodation and the treatment we received as guests. The arrangement was made through an agency from Belgrade in July 2011. While the crisis is palpable, the people remain the same—hospitable and cheerful. Everything else was excellent.

My partner and I spent our vacation together. We booked our accommodation literally just before departure (which meant our options were relatively limited). We chose Potos based on some comments we found online, and I believe we made the right choice. Although we vacationed during the peak season, in the first half of August, it wasn’t crowded. The sea was clear, and the beaches were well-maintained... Recommended for diving: Pefkari; Be sure to visit Aliki (a beach and the remains of an ancient harbor); On the mainland, visit: Philippi (a vast archaeological site near Kavala - the birthplace of Philip of Macedon).
