The accommodation is situated in an excellent location, close to the center, yet it remains peaceful. The landlady is very kind, and the hygiene standards are high. Every day, they clean the room, the bathroom, take out the trash, and wash the dishes, even if you have forgotten to do so. The only downside is the very small space in the kitchen, where you have no place to put the dishes.

The villa is situated near the city beach, which did not appeal to us, so we went to other beaches every day. The place is tidy and clean, with bed linens and towels changed every three days. The internet connection is quite poor, and there are only two pots available. There is hardly any storage space, just a small wardrobe with hangers, and we kept our suitcases in the rooms. The courtyard is also nearly nonexistent, very small. It is located on a quiet street, which is an advantage.

The studio for four people is more suitable for three. The auxiliary bed is intended for two, while the studio is classified as accommodation for four. We expected four main beds.

A few words about the accommodation. The location in Potos is perfect. It is removed from the noise of the main street, yet everything is within 50-100 meters. The cleanliness is impeccable. The accommodation is cleaned daily, and towels are changed every three days. The staff's friendliness is at a high level, and the tranquility is invaluable. Drawbacks: We booked accommodation for a married couple with three children, which was not at all favorable for six days, as we were placed in a single room with an extra bed. It is true that there is no space to prepare meals or to eat anywhere; everything is very cramped. It is not at all reasonable compared to the price we paid. The internet is unavailable unless you want to wake up around 2-3 AM, then you might have access. Water and electricity occasionally went out. All in all, the price-to-quality ratio is poor! The only positives are the good location, friendliness, and of course, hygiene. In any case, we certainly will not be staying here again. Tasos should be visited regardless; everything is beautiful about this island, and we will surely return!

The apartment is located just a five-minute walk from the city beach, and nearby there are two supermarkets and a pharmacy. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the cleanliness of the apartment is of a high standard.

Complaints: 1. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable; they need to be replaced with new and much more comfortable ones due to the back pain that arises after sleeping. 2. The internet is slow; for this number of guests, the internet must be better, with a higher bandwidth. 3. The distance from the beach to the accommodation. 4. A limited number of kitchen utensils; there seems to be a desire to prepare as little food as possible and to utilize their restaurant's capacities more. However, due to the specific dietary needs, my wife and I were forced to prepare our own meals but lacked sufficient utensils, having only one pot. Therefore, we had to bring our own cookware, which further complicated our arrival. If they provided the option to prepare food, they should have facilitated that. 5. We were given a room on the upper floor, which is excessively warm and sunlit from all sides, even though there were free rooms on the ground floor. Despite insisting on a ground-floor room, the landlady assigned us a room we were not satisfied with. For all these reasons, if we decide to return to Thassos next year, it certainly will not be at Villa Irida, where we spent the previous three summers. I also believe that the accommodation, given these shortcomings, is rather expensive for the price. Positive aspects: 1. The cleanliness of the property and rooms is at a high level. 2. The staff's friendliness.

An excellent accommodation in a superb location. The villa is just 30 meters from the promenade or the "center" of Potos, which is less than a minute's walk. It is situated in a peaceful area, except for the occasional passage of scooters through the narrow path leading from the first street of the promenade to the main road. The rooms are beautifully and comfortably furnished. They are cleaned every day, with towels and bed linens changed every three days. The only complaint is the lack of a wardrobe for storing clothes from the suitcase; we had a third bed in the studio that served as a makeshift wardrobe, and there is also no curtain or glass panel in the shower cabin. Since we stayed on the upper floor in apartment no. 9, the absence of a partition between the terraces did not bother us, as the terrace is recessed and provided the desired privacy; otherwise, I would have mentioned that as a downside. The WiFi also worked flawlessly in apartment no. 9. The owner, Despina, is very pleasant, unobtrusive, and kind. The villa also has private parking located approximately 100 meters away or a 2-3 minute leisurely walk. All in all, it is nearly perfect accommodation, highly recommended...

We stayed in the villa from August 4th to August 14th. It is an understatement to say that the accommodation is outstanding. The apartments are cleaned daily, and towels and bed linens are changed every three days. The location is excellent, far from noise yet close to the center of activities. The owner, Despina, is very pleasant and kind, and there is no doubt that our next stay will be in the same villa. I would gladly recommend their restaurant-tavern, George. Every dish they prepare is incredibly delicious, and I would especially highlight the lamb, which is fantastic!

We vacationed from July 2nd to 10th at Villa Irida, with my husband, son, and myself. We were accommodated in a three-bed studio, guided by our experience from last year when we stayed in another villa. The three-bed studio was too cramped and small, and the terrace was tiny and impractical. Upon our return to Thassos, we expected something similar - a small and cramped studio. Fortunately, the studio was spacious and large, featuring a large double bed and an additional single bed. The interior of the studio is beautiful and pleasant, equipped with great care and taste. The bathroom is nicely furnished, and each studio has air conditioning. The kitchen is quite small and a bit inconvenient for any substantial cooking. As for the service and friendliness, it is impeccable - the room is cleaned daily, towels are changed every three days, as well as the bed linen. The villa also has its own parking, which is not located within the villa but on the street next to it, so if someone decides to stay at Irida and has small children, they should take into account that carrying mattresses, buckets, boats, and other children's toys to the parking lot can be quite a hassle. The city beach is close to the villa. A minor complaint is about the terrace designated for dining since there is no dining table in the room. The terraces are adjacent to each other, and there is no partition between them that would provide some privacy during meals or evening relaxation. Everything else is perfect.

I, along with my husband and our 4-year-old daughter, had the pleasure of being guests at this beautiful villa at the end of August, specifically from August 22nd to September 1st. All I can express in words about this lovely villa and its hostess Despina is that from this year onward, and every year during my vacation on this island, I will be her loyal guest, as will my friends. Once again, a heartfelt thank you, and I am sure we will meet again!

My wife and I stayed at Villa Irida from August 23 to September 3. The experience was positive in every respect. It is located right in the center, yet it is very quiet. The apartment is cleaned daily, and the bedding is changed every three days. The landlady and hostess, Despina, was kind and attentive, yet unobtrusive. Whatever we needed, she was always there to help. We spent 11 phenomenal days on Thassos and at Villa Irida. It certainly deserves every praise. This has been one of our best vacations so far.

During our stay from August 22 to 31, 2012, my wife and I enjoyed an exceptionally beautiful studio, tastefully furnished and impeccably clean. The maintenance throughout our stay was flawless (cleaning, changing of linens and towels). The owners were very accommodating and kind. The location is excellent, and the parking is perfect (on the main street, right next to the villa).

I stayed in this villa with my family in the second half of August. The hostess who welcomed us was exceptionally kind, as was her entire family. The apartments are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and, most importantly, very clean. We are truly satisfied with our stay and can recommend them to anyone.

My husband, our son (4 years old), and I moved to Villa Irida in early August. The accommodation is exceptionally beautiful, the room is spacious, everything in it is new, wonderfully furnished, and clean. The location is excellent - just a minute's walk from the store, bakery, pharmacy, and doctor. The beach is also nearby. The villa has its own parking, which is a significant advantage during the season. The landlady is very kind.

From July 10th to 19th, I stayed with my family and friends at Villa Irida. Everything was beautiful, new, and the hostess ensured that we left with the most wonderful impressions of our vacation on Thassos and in Potos.

In July, my husband and our two children, aged 4 and 6. The experience was excellent, 90%, and next year we plan to return to the same villa, God willing, if everything aligns beautifully!

My husband and I stayed at this villa from July 21 to July 31, and we were truly delighted with the accommodation, location, and the owner. In a word, it was excellent! We often dined at the George restaurant, where the prices are reasonable and the food is outstanding. The people are wonderful, friendly, and always ready to listen. The villa is situated in a fantastic location; everything is nearby, yet you are isolated from noise. The hygiene is top-notch, with daily cleaning of the apartment and linen changes every third day. It felt just like home.

We stayed at the villa in Irida during the last week of June and the first week of July this year. There were four of us - my husband and I with our two children. The villa is decorated with great taste and style. It was cleaned every day, and thoroughly at that, with towels and bed linens changed every three days. The villa is in an excellent location, very close to the city beach, just a 3-5 minute walk, and near all the cafes and shops, yet it is sheltered from noise, so even my husband, who has a very light sleep, says he has never rested and slept as well anywhere else as here. The hosts are very kind and accommodating. A very important detail is that parking is provided, just a few steps from the villa, and it is fenced, so you can truly relax regarding your car! The only minor complaint is that the kitchen is quite small and poorly equipped. We had only three plates, utensils, and cups each... Two pots, one very small, less than 1 liter, and one large, about 3-4 liters, which posed a problem since we had no way to cook soup. However, in comparison to everything else, it is not a significant complaint.

From July 7th to 17th, 2012, we vacationed on Thassos, in the village of Potos. Our family of three had a wonderful time. The accommodation was, for the first time, just as depicted in the pictures. Beautifully arranged, spacious, and exceptionally clean. The apartment was cleaned daily, towels were changed as described, parking was provided, and the kind landlady along with the rest of the staff were very accommodating.

June 30 - July 14, 2012. My husband, our two children aged 2 and 7, and I... an incredibly beautiful experience... a warm welcome, a pleasant holiday, and an even more delightful farewell! A big hello to Despina, her husband, their sons, as well as their daughter and father.

My husband and I spent 12 days in this villa and we are truly satisfied.

My partner and I spent ten days in Irida starting from June 17th. Overall, it is beautifully arranged, clean, and fragrant; the bathroom is small but quite lovely, and the hosts are very pleasant. It is situated in a quiet area yet still in the center, making everything easily accessible, just like the entire Potos. The most important thing is to arrive by car on Thassos, as everything else is a pointless waste of time, and this small island truly boasts beautiful beaches, with Marble Beach being particularly noteworthy. I do not recommend swimming at the wild beaches, as there have been some unpleasant incidents, but considering there are many well-maintained beaches, the choice is indeed vast.

Villa Irida was our second choice - we decided to travel at the earliest possible moment, and the "favorite" was fully booked. Ana was very accommodating and found us suitable accommodation within a day. We have no regrets. We stayed in the villa from June 19, 2012, to June 25, 2012 - my husband, our baby (9 months), and I. The villa is beautiful, everything looks just like in the pictures. Every day, the room, terrace, and bathroom are cleaned. I found that I hadn’t washed the coffee cups - everything was waiting for me, already cleaned. The bed linens and towels are changed every three days. The landlady Despina is a wonderful, unobtrusive woman whom you can approach for anything. There is an option to pay for full board with them since they also own the George restaurant located in the same courtyard. The beach is very close. There is also Wi-Fi. Everything was truly in perfect order!

I stayed in this villa with my daughter (17 months) and my wife. The owner of the villa, Despina, is exceptionally kind and attentive. The changing of linens occurs, if I recall correctly, every 4-5 days. What is shown in the villa's photographs truly reflects reality. The beds could be of slightly better quality and more comfortable, so they don’t creak and disturb everyone on Thassos :) However, from what I observed, this varies by room - (in the "neighbor's" room) the beds were fine. The beach is close, and if you have a car, nothing is far away. The apartments facing the "street-passage" are subject to noise from passersby, which can be uncomfortable at night, especially for those with small children. We didn't eat at any restaurants; we mostly relied on fast food, so we can't recommend any specific place. Everything is nearby - shops, bakeries, fast food restaurants (gyros, etc.). Overall, most of the beaches described by Nikana on the website that we managed to visit are just like that.

We vacationed from July 1st to July 11th, 2011, at Villa Irida in Potos, Thassos. We exchanged several emails with NikAn and decided on Villa Irida because it met all our criteria. We booked a three-bed studio for two adults and one six-year-old boy. The hosts of the villa were Theodoros Skordos and Verzamani Despina. The accommodation was superb! The beach was 150 meters away, but that didn't bother us - for the first time in our lives. The villa's hostess, Despina, tidied the rooms daily and occasionally created charming arrangements with pajamas and plush toys. She changed the towels and bedding halfway through our stay - after five days. The villa has a restaurant and its own parking, just 50 meters away! This was very important to us, as we visited the beaches of Thassos every day. A lovely little street lined with shops leads from the villa to the beach. You can buy groceries, beach supplies, souvenirs, etc. We mostly prepared our meals in the apartment. We only dined in restaurants in Panagia and Kekes (lamb and moussaka). Very nice, but not cheap.

Villa Irida in Potos, with the hostess Despina, is kind, unobtrusive, yet always ready to assist and provide information. I stayed with my husband and our four-year-old child, and the type of accommodation is ideal for families. We stayed in a three-bed apartment for 14 days at a price of 45 euros per day (from July 8 to 23). The villa has a beautifully landscaped yard, flowers, greenery, and is well-located - close to the beach and the main street, yet sufficiently tucked away to avoid noise. The furniture is relatively new; we had wrought iron beds, which I personally did not like, but it is not a significant issue - some apartments have such furniture, while others have regular beds - it’s a matter of taste. Bed linen and towels are changed every two to three days or as needed. It is air-conditioned, and the terrace is also comfortable. I heard that cooking certain heavy dishes is not allowed in the kitchen, which is reasonable due to odors. I only prepared soup from a packet (for the child), and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, fast food places, bakeries, and shops very close by. A good and useful feature is the free wireless internet in the apartment. As for Thassos itself, I will briefly say that it is an island with an exceptional climate, pleasant air and sea temperatures (without tropical heat), ideal for small children. I chose Potos, even though it is a small place; it has everything. We needed a doctor a few times, and hostess Despina guided us, announced us, and everything turned out great. Everything was covered by insurance; we did not pay anything on-site, we just filled out a form. One should also consider these things, such as a doctor, pharmacy, etc.

This summer, we vacationed at Villa Irida in Potos. We are a family of four from Skopje, and this was our first time vacationing on Thassos. We are incredibly grateful to Nikana for making this wonderful holiday possible. Villa Irida is a beautiful, new property located practically in the city center, so most shops are very close by. The beach is approximately a five-minute walk away. The property itself is very lovely, everything is new and modern, cleaning is done daily, and the landlady is a very kind person who is always ready to assist with anything you need. During our ten-day stay in this villa, from July 10th to 20th, we, a family of four from Skopje, experienced our first trip to Thassos. The accommodation itself was truly excellent; everything was very clean and new. The apartment was cleaned daily, and the towels and bed linens were changed twice during our stay. I must mention that the hostess was exceptionally kind and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is practically in the city center, with the beach very close, as well as all other amenities (supermarket, pastry shop, etc.). All in all, it was an outstanding accommodation, and I warmly recommend it to anyone looking to vacation in a truly solid location.
