Suzana Studios, even outside the center of Potos, has an amazing location because it is very close to the beach but in quiet place. There are beautiful garden for children, pool and playground so it is one of the most popular accommodations in south of Thassos.
Villa Suzana is located in Potos, 700-800m from the city center.
It is located 250 meters from the beach. It takes a narrow, non-traffic, dirt road to reach the beach.
Suzana villa is just next to the pool and it offers of 11 studios and one apartment.
Studios (25m2) have a kitchenette in the small hall at the entrance, a double bed and one single bed or three single beds. If necessary, fourth single bed or extra bed can be added. Extra bed has a metal skeleton, but the standard mattress and as comfortable as regular beds.
The terraces are spacious and all are facing the courtyard.
This building has one apartment on the first floor with garden view (30m2). The apartment has a bedroom with two single beds and living room with kitchen and two more single beds. If necessary, you can throw in another extra bed.
All the accommodation units at Suzana Studios are air-conditioned, with TV, Wi-Fi, safe box, mosquito nets, bathroom and terrace.
The signal for wireless internet is available in the courtyard of the villa, the pool and the terraces of the studios and also in some studios.
Cleaning, replacing towels and bed linen are carried out every two days.
The villa has a pool and shower in the yard, washing machine that you can use free of charge, very spacious and nicely decorated yard, lots of flowers and shade, sun loungers and parasols by the pool, barbecue and garden furniture.
In addition to the pool that can be used for children while their parents relax or prepare a meal, there is a garden that is full of children, so you can rest while the children are entertained with their peers (although it should be taken into account that the clamor of children can sometimes disturb).
In the evening you can barbecue with friends and neighbors in the yard.
Parking is allowed next to the villa and on the road, but the villa does not have a private enclosed parking.
The villa is 2 minutes walk from the sandy beach called San Antonio. This beach is largely sandy with a gradual increase of water depth and it is ideal for children. Please note that the beach is suitable for children just on the left of the villa. Sandy part is quite long.
Center of Potos you can reach by foot, and for that you need 10-minute walk by road or something more along the beach.
When you are coming from Limenaria, after central intersection in Potos continue to drive straight towards the town exit. After about 700m you'll see a tavern Klimataria on the right side of the main road. Just next to the tavern you will see the board for Suzana Studios and right turn. Suzana Villa is located just behind the tavern looking from the road to the sea.
If you want decent accommodation in Potos, which would correspond to a family with young children, with a pool and courtyard and excellent hygiene, just outside the town, villa Suzana has my true recommendation.
On San Antonio beach you will find several excellent taverns and a bar.
You can find out more about Potos in our Tourist guide to Thassos.

Guest reviews
The owner Irini is available 24 hours a day, exceptionally pleasant and kind! The accommodation is clean, tidy, and maintained daily, with bed linens changed every other day. There is a bar by the pool serving drinks and coffee. The beach is just a three-minute walk away, yet the accommodation is not located in the city’s hustle and bustle. Highly recommended!! Also, all recommendations for Nikana!
Proximity to the beach without the city's hustle
Cons
I wholeheartedly recommend Studio Suzana. The landlady, Irina, is an exceptionally kind, always available, and accommodating person. The apartments are well-equipped. Regarding cleanliness and maintenance, the apartments are kept to an outstanding standard; almost every day, they are cleaned and towels are changed. If you wish to travel with children, you cannot go wrong by choosing Studio Suzana.
An ideal place for relaxation. It looks even better in person than in the pictures. Irina is always cheerful, kind, and available. Our room is spacious and beautifully decorated, so there is no need to turn on the air conditioning. The pool and yard are excellent. A perfect solution for families with children. Highly commendable.
The apartments are situated in an excellent location, close to the beach, and they are exceptionally clean, with daily maintenance. The pool is in superb condition and is regularly maintained.
Cleanliness, proximity to the beach
Cons
Irina is an exceptionally gracious host, very warm and accommodating. The atmosphere throughout the complex is delightful, complemented by the proximity to restaurants, a clean pool, and beautiful greenery. The beach is relatively close, and parking is also readily available. The only drawback is the closeness to the main road; for those sensitive to noise, unfortunately, this is not the best location, as the sound of cars can be heard for a significant part of the night. The air conditioning works flawlessly, and with the windows closed, there are no noise issues.
cleanliness, pool
Cons
proximity to the main road
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hospitality was exceptional, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the pool was delightful.
The owner is always willing to accommodate you with anything you need. The room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is spacious, and the yard is beautifully organized with plenty of seating and relaxation areas. The children always had company. You can reach Potos either by the beach or via the main road that runs through the town, and that is the only downside, as there are no sidewalks.
We had a perfect vacation in Thassos, with 12 nights at Suzana Studios, and we are extremely satisfied. We hope to return again.
Location, pool,
Cons
The kitchen is quite cramped, and the terraces should be partitioned for privacy.
A family vacation with three children, the youngest being a 4-month-old baby. All praises for the accommodation and especially for the owner, who is very accommodating. All our requests regarding the accommodation were met, and the pool in the yard provided special entertainment for the children when we retreated from the beach, while we used it in the evenings to sit down and enjoy a drink after our walks. The beach itself is very beautiful and suitable for children as it has plenty of shallow areas. The location is excellent as it is not in the center of Potos, where, in my opinion, it can be overly crowded, yet you can reach the center in just 5-7 minutes of leisurely walking. Taverna Klimataria is an excellent choice for lunch, and we made the most of that. Potos itself is a lovely little place with quite decent amenities for a family holiday. The only complaint about the accommodation is that the beds are somewhat uncomfortable. All in all, we had beautiful impressions from a fantastic and thoroughly relaxing family vacation. We are especially grateful to Nikana for the comprehensive and reliable information and good recommendations.
Great location, tidy accommodation, nice beach.
Cons
About ten days ago, specifically on July 13, 2016, my husband, our two children, and I returned from Thassos. This was our fourth visit to Thassos. Our first stay was at Villa Suzana in Potos. Honestly, the reason we chose this accommodation was the positive reviews from guests, much more than the pictures and descriptions. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The rooms are clean, the linens are changed as many as three times during our ten-day stay (our previous experiences had been once), the terraces are spacious, and there are screens on the windows (surprisingly, even when the screens were not drawn, there were no mosquitoes, which is quite important for us), the pool is nice, and the yard is adequate for children to play (my children are 5 and 9 years old). The kitchen is sufficiently equipped, and the hostess, Irini, is exceptionally kind. I truly recommend this place; the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The only small drawback is the weak Wi-Fi.
From June 29, 2014, to July 9, 2014, a woman with two children (aged 17 and 10) and I stayed in this period at a ground-floor studio. This has perhaps been our best vacation to date. The accommodation was excellent, from the room to the very nice and clean pool, and finally the yard, which is the best in the nearby area I have visited. The landlady, Irini, is a very pleasant woman who finds nothing difficult and is always at your service. Truly, all praise goes to her. What more can I say except that Potos is a fantastic place to which we will surely return, of course to Irini at the Suzana studio.
Clean apartments, well-maintained pool, beautifully arranged and maintained yard, space for enjoyment for both children and adults, table tennis, bicycles for trips to the store, fantastic barbecue in the yard...
Cons
None.
In 2011 and 2012, we stayed with my sister here, each time for 12 days. The accommodation is excellent; everything is clean, the staff is friendly, and the pool is cleaned daily. There is also a children's park with swings. The rooms are cleaned every day, and towels and bed linens are changed. Additionally, there is a washing machine, detergent, and fabric softener, all included in the villa.
Close to the center, just 500 meters away, yet you are not in the hustle and bustle. The beach is excellent, about 80 meters away.
Cons
None.
During the period from August 19th to September 3rd, I stayed with my family (husband and two small children) at Suzana Studios, located at the exit of Potos. The studios are in a great location, about 150 meters from the sea. The hygiene in the establishment is fantastic. Room cleaning was done every three days, which is commendable. The villa's courtyard is beautifully arranged and quite safe for small children. The pool is cleaned daily. The landlady, Irini, was present every day at the studios and always went out of her way to accommodate her guests (she even kissed us goodbye).
The advantage of the studios is their proximity to the beach, so you don't have to start your car every day to swim at one of the beaches. The beach is San Antonio and is indeed great for small children (gradual entry into the water with fine sand). There is also a small charming area within the studios.
Cons
The only downside is that the accommodation is about 700 meters from the center, but this wouldn't be a problem if you didn't have to go along the main road. If you have small children, be cautious as the road is busy.
The second half of September 2013. A family of three (father, mother, and a three-year-old girl).
The accommodation is primarily ideal for families with children. Everything is exceptionally clean. The yard is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. The hostess, Irini, is a true gem! She is wonderful! The beach is nearby, and it really doesn’t require much walking to get to the town. Even the music coming from the neighboring tavern is moderate and pleasant.
Cons
The only drawback is the cold water in the pool! We really tried to swim, but it was unfeasible.
I stayed from September 11th to September 21st with my sister, and the accommodation was excellent in terms of price and quality. We were extremely satisfied; it wasn't even that difficult to walk past the main road to the center of Potos :-))
Clean, spacious, with large terraces... Overall, we will definitely return...
Cons
No downsides :-)
We stayed from August 28 to September 10, 2013, with my wife and children aged 5 and 1. The friendly landlady is always there to make your stay easier and assist with any questions. The yard is beautiful, and the pool offers a perfect spot for afternoon relaxation. The location of the apartment is excellent; all the beaches you wish to visit are nearby. A tavern with great food and reasonable prices is located next to the apartment, making your choice easier. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation and delightful companionship.
Proximity to the beach, seclusion from the city's hustle and bustle while still being close, a lovely yard for the children.
Cons
We did not find them; perhaps just a suggestion to enhance the facilities in the yard for small children.
I stayed in the accommodation with my husband and our seven-month-old baby. We had a wonderful time, and I am very grateful for the assistance in choosing the apartment.
Close to the sea, a pool, and a fantastic host who will treat you better than in a hotel.
Cons
Close to the main road and there is no suitable crib for babies, just a playpen without a mattress.
Last year, we vacationed at Suzana's, a family of five, in a 3+1 studio, and this year we returned again, which speaks volumes about this beautiful villa and its hosts.
Clean, close to the beach, no city hustle.
Cons
0
A family of four, a paradise on earth for children. The hosts are kind, and the maintenance of the yard and pool is commendable.
Beautiful yard, spacious terrace, and a clean pool.
Cons
None.
August 14, 2013. FAMILY. WIFE AND TWO CHILDREN. The studio is tidy, everything is in its place, and the terrace is spacious with a view of the pool and garden. Towels and linens were changed as promised. The pool is perfect and well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by the daily complimentary frappé by the pool. An excellent move by the friendly hosts. There is a safe in the room, so you don’t have to carry documents and euros with you. The internet connection is satisfactory.
Pool, children's yard, spacious studio, proximity to excellent beaches...
Cons
Parking is limited, narrow, but it is free in the center of Potos, costing 2 euros.
During my stay at the Suzana facility, I was accompanied by my wife and our two sons, one aged 17 and the other 14. We stayed from August 12 to August 21, 2013. The studio is tidy and pleasant, but it feels a bit cramped for a family of four with adult children. The terraces are beautiful and functional, but I believe that in the future, the space between each terrace should be partitioned with lexan or frosted glass up to halfway, to provide a bit more intimacy.
It is not in the center, yet it is not too far from Potos and is relatively close to the beach.
Cons
The studios are small for a family of four, and there is a limited number of apartments, making it difficult to secure one.
A 15-day vacation starting from 07.08.2013. Two families with a total of three children. A hostess who is more than kind. Plenty of our children, so everyone always has company. Secluded from the city and noise. It has everything one might need. All in all, outstanding. A holiday for both adults and children.
Proximity to the beach, a pool, and a yard suitable for children. The kindness of the hostess Irina. A big shout-out to the hostess.
Cons
I can't recall any significant downsides, perhaps just that parking spaces could be improved, but that's not an issue since everyone has space next to the local road to the beach.
I believe that the accommodation is considerably better than it is described on the Nikana website. Specifically, the accommodation is presented as good for the price, but it is actually better, primarily due to the kindness of the owners, the green courtyard, the pool, and the shade. PLEASE IMPROVE THE DESCRIPTION
as mentioned above
Cons
the pool gets dirty quickly due to the large number of guests
This is our second visit to Sužana. Everything is infinitely clean, the hostess is very kind, guests can use the washing machine, detergent, and everything is hers and allowed. The pool is cleaned every evening, the bedding is changed every three days, but if needed, it can be changed earlier. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, the terraces are excellent as they are shaded from the sun, and the yard is spacious and suitable for children.
Cleanliness of the apartment, towels, bedding, washing machine, pristine pool, kind hostess.
Cons
None.
I stayed from August 6 to August 16, 2013, in studio Suzana 1, with my wife and two children. It was an excellent choice. The studio is clean, air-conditioned, and equipped with mosquito nets, which is also important. The terraces face the inner side of the courtyard and are always in the shade, and they have awnings that can be raised or lowered as needed. The studio has a TV, albeit of small dimensions and positioned high, so you won’t be watching it much, although you didn’t come to the sea to watch TV. Among the offered channels, there is also the first channel of RTS. The kitchen is small, located at the entrance of the apartment, and lacks some utensils, so you might find yourself short of a plate if there are four of you. I emphasize that the owners are very kind and that anything you might need can be obtained immediately without any problems. The bathroom is fine, the shower is a bit smaller, but nothing that particularly disrupts comfort. The bathroom is larger and has a window for ventilation and natural light. The studios are equipped with safes that can be used free of charge, as well as air conditioning, also at no extra cost. There are seating sets on the terraces, a drying rack for laundry with clips, and so on. The only slight complaint is that the terraces of the studios are more oriented toward each other and lack stronger divisions, except for a low wall, making it somewhat difficult to have private conversations if someone else is sitting on the terrace. This is just a realistic picture; otherwise, it personally did not bother us at all; on the contrary, we got closer to our neighbors who also have children, so our terraces served us well for gatherings. The studios are clean, and there are no complaints regarding bugs, grasshoppers, flies, etc. There were not many mosquitoes, just as in Belgrade or other places, so not in numbers that disrupt comfort. We brought a mosquito repellent device as a precaution but did not use it. Bed linens and towels are changed every fifth day, with the possibility of changing them as needed, due to the kindness of the studio owners and their staff. Next to the villa, you can park your car very comfortably, so you don’t have to worry about that, which is not a simple problem at all. The villa's courtyard, pool, children's playground (swings, seesaws), grill, etc., are in impeccable condition and available to guests throughout the day and evening. The pool has excellent night lighting and can be used without time or any other restrictions. The landlady of the studio has her own olive grove, so she sells cold-pressed olive oil in 5L cans for 18 euros, which is actually cheaper than in town by 1-2 euros. It is branded oil from Potos, which all locals sell, considering that for their olives, which they sell to the factory in Potos, they receive cold-pressed oil in the same 5-liter cans and with the same Potos-Teologos brand. I recommend buying oil from her, and you can also find honey and similar products in town.
Excellent location, cleanliness, courtyard, air conditioning included in the price, kindness of the owners, a bar in the courtyard where coffee and similar items are free, a clean pool with varying depths suitable for different ages.
Cons
There are almost none...
Last year we were with the children, but this year it’s just my wife and me. The impressions are extraordinary and deserve nothing but praise!
It’s not in the center of Potos, yet it’s close to the beach! Kind hosts and excellent apartments!
Cons
Everything suited us perfectly, so we have no complaints.
I vacationed with my family in a ground-floor apartment, number 5, and everything was excellent.
The greatest advantage was the friendly owner, as well as the thoughtful design of the property, the pool, the children's playground, the barbecue area, and the cleanliness that truly deserves commendation.
Cons
There are no downsides; I have recommended it to everyone, as I am confident that their vacation will remain a cherished memory.
We spent 13 days as a family in an exceptionally clean establishment, surrounded by rather noisy and semi-cultured guests, predominantly from Serbia. The family next to us was excessively loud even by the lowest standards we set regarding privacy and the respect for at least minimal order.
Beautiful courtyard, suitable for children.
Cons
As described above.
June 2013, a family vacation
Perfect for families with children, proximity to the beach, excellent tavern, beautiful courtyard.
Cons
Old dishes.
My wife and I, along with our two sons (aged 7 and 4), stayed from June 8th to June 18th, 2013. For families like ours, this location is excellent and highly recommended! If someone expects hotel-like service, they should go to a hotel; we found the discreet and unobtrusive presence of the hosts sufficient, as they responded to every question and request we had! When we return to Thassos, this studio will definitely be our first choice.
The property has everything it should have.
Cons
The kitchen is slightly smaller.
We stayed in Suzana from June 2nd with our 14-month-old baby. After a rather exhausting journey with a fussy baby, our smiles returned as soon as we entered the accommodation. The studios are spacious, beautifully decorated, CLEAN, with a huge terrace, mosquito nets on the doors, and a sunshade. The courtyard is impeccably maintained, the pool is cleaned every evening, and there is a table for table tennis. Mostly families with young children stay here, so everything is organized and readily available for such guests. I would always choose Suzana again. Highly recommended.
Away from the city's noise, large courtyard for children, everything is tidy and well-maintained. The hosts are absolutely at your service.
Cons
Small kitchen.
This June, we vacationed as a family (with two small children) in the Suzana apartments. For a complete experience, it is necessary to bring the following: - mosquito repellent tablets - kitchen towels, paper towels... - detergent - coffee pot or kettle - coffee, salt, sugar, spices... I hope I haven't forgotten anything... You can find all the details in the pros/cons section.
Beautiful park, exceptionally friendly hosts, even better neighbors, lovely pool, laundry facilities, barbecue options, beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, all in all... a pleasant atmosphere!
Cons
For those without a car, the store is far away... dirty dishes, worn-out utensils that need replacing in some apartments, cobwebs in the room, slugs in the bathroom :), irregular room cleaning (every 5 days), shower cabin with a malfunctioning curtain that doesn't work.
From August 13 to 23, 2012, my wife and I spent some time alone. The owner, Irina, is phenomenal and extremely kind. The accommodation is quite decent, very clean, and hygiene was at a high standard. There is a small pool where we perhaps enjoyed a few times, along with a lovely garden where one can have a barbecue. The only downside was that our schedule coincided with exceptionally loud neighbors who had a habit of shouting from terrace to terrace, but this in no way detracted from the quality of the accommodation. The studio is a 5-7 minute walk to the very center of Potos, which is quite small. However, the people and hosts are very friendly! As for Nikana, the people there are EXTREMELY kind. You can always take a stroll to their premises and get all the necessary information so you don’t miss anything on this wonderful island! This was my first time in Thassos and my first interaction with Nikana, and this holiday went in the best possible way, leaving me with beautiful memories. It is recommended to frequently hop in the car and explore new beaches and fish restaurants. If you are with small children, San Antonio beach is nearby, always has space, the water is lovely, and the beach is clean. Highly recommended. If you are going with friends, it is preferable to have a larger group.
The restaurant is right next to the studio, close to the center of Potos, yet sufficiently isolated to ensure peace and quiet for those who need it. A clean sandy beach is nearby.
Cons
The only downside is the limited number of parking spaces, however, there is always a spot to be found within a 5-meter radius of the studio, which is very good.
We were on vacation in September. There were four of us (three adults and one child), and the room was intended for three. We were promised a larger room and more comfort, but we received only an extra bed and a cramped space! What bothered me the most was that the kitchen area was extremely small, making it impossible to prepare a meal without hassle, and the number of dishes in the room, which was supposedly for four, was insufficient, while the burners were worn out, etc. Since we had to stay in the room with a small child for afternoon naps and lunch, I felt the need to mention this. Nevertheless, despite all this, we had a wonderful time because Tasos is very beautiful and interesting, and the Greeks are hospitable and pleasant.
For families with children: a playground for kids, a pool, proximity to the beach, a large terrace, the restaurant below the apartment is excellent, and it is not in the center of Potos.
Cons
It is somewhat noisy, the kitchen is impractical, the ovens are very weak, and the rooms are small.
We vacationed from September 9th to September 23rd with our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter in a three-bed studio. We were pleased with the accommodation; the landlady was always accommodating to our requests, and the yard was perfectly maintained and wonderful for children's play. The location is such that you are far enough away from Potos and the noise, yet close enough for a stroll. The beach is truly nearby. What delighted us was having a safe in the room, allowing us to fully relax. The downside is that the wardrobe is so narrow (like one wing of a smaller wardrobe) that there was no space for all our belongings; fortunately, our little one slept in the crib (which they provided, and it was in perfect condition), so we arranged the remaining items on the spare bed. The double bed is quite narrow, not ideal for two people, and the kitchen is small if you decide to cook on vacation. However, the price in September is favorable, and for that amount, it is truly worth it, but I am not sure I would pay a larger sum during the season. Nevertheless, considering accommodations of similar prices in Potos, I believe this is the right choice.
Clean rooms, well-equipped yard for children, beautiful and clean surroundings, phenomenal hosts, proximity to the beach, safe in the room.
Cons
While I would say there are more advantages, the downsides are the lack of wardrobe space, narrow bed, and small kitchen. If I had paid more, I would definitely have wanted more comfort, but I am satisfied despite these downsides.
We stayed at Suzana Studio from September 9th to September 19th, 2012. I was there with my husband and our 8-month-old son. Initially, we received a large studio (3+1) at our request, but to our surprise, in such a spacious area, there were two separate single beds and one pull-out bed in another room, which was not suitable for us due to the baby. After discussing with the landlady, we changed apartments and moved to a smaller one with beds that suited us, one double and one single, but everything else was much smaller, including the kitchen and bathroom, which had an exceptionally small shower cabin for men, especially :) However, this did not bother us as we mostly explored this beautiful island and spent the least amount of time in the room. Regarding cleanliness and the maintenance of the apartment, it is at a commendable level. Considering that we have been vacationing in Greece for years, I must truly commend the cleaning of the apartment, as well as the changing of towels and bed linens. The landlady, as already mentioned, is genuinely kind and always available if you need assistance. The restaurant located within the studio offers excellent food at reasonable prices, and the staff there is fantastic. I cannot comment on the beach, which is just a few meters from the studio, as we did not see it; we mostly visited popular beaches, recommended beaches that are beautiful, and we spent time at the city beach beneath the café-bar POCO LOCO, as we had excellent service and lovely shade for the baby :) The most beautiful impression left on us was from MERMERNA PLAŽA, which you must visit; it is a sight to behold. Finally, although it should have been mentioned at the beginning :) I must commend the girls working at the Nikana agency, especially Nataša, whom I greet on this occasion, as they went above and beyond to meet all our requests!!! I would also add that there are bees on Thassos; they will always visit you when you eat.
Clean, tidy apartments in a quiet location near the center of Potos.
Cons
The main road leading to the center lacks a pedestrian zone, which can be a bit inconvenient for parents with babies and small children if they are not in a car.
From September 1st to 14th, I traveled with my wife and our 4-year-old child. The apartment was clean and relatively spacious, featuring a large bathroom and a lovely yard for the children. The nearby beach was satisfactory, and the food at the local tavern was exceptional.
A peaceful environment, solid accommodation, a spacious yard, a pool, and the local tavern is, based on our experience, above average in quality.
Cons
Occasionally (but very rarely), there are issues with parking, and the kitchen is relatively small.
I have nothing to add, except that previous guests who stayed in this studio have already expressed everything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Proximity to the beach, a tranquil area outside the city, a children's pool, a yard equipped with toys for children, exceptional accommodation, and friendly hosts.
Cons
Absolutely none.
From August 21 to 31, 2012, the accommodation comes highly recommended. The host is friendly, and there is a nice beach nearby.
Proximity to the beach and a large swimming pool.
Cons
Not suitable for couples without children, as it can be a bit noisy in the morning until the kids head to the beach.
We spent ten days at the end of August at Studios Suzzana, my husband, our three children, and I. It was very comfortable, the terrace is spacious, and the kitchenette is equipped with all the necessary utensils, including a kettle for boiling water. It is exceptionally clean, with an emphasis on CLEAN. Towels were changed every other day, and the studio was cleaned, while our bedding was changed three times. The owner is very friendly and speaks English, making it easy to arrange anything you might need, whether it be utensils or anything else. In my opinion, the property is located in a lovely spot, right at the exit of Potos, close to the beach, and those who want to explore further do not need to pass through Potos to reach other beaches in the beautiful southern part of the island. We, with our children, do not enjoy crowds, so this was perfect. A true vacation. We are thrilled! Thank you, Ana, for this wonderful holiday.
Clean, close to the town without the crowd under the window, a very pleasant atmosphere around the house.
Cons
None, except perhaps a curtain in the bathroom, but considering how well it is cleaned... I don't know.
We were there at the end of June 2012. I was with my two-year-old daughter, my youngest brother, who is a student, and my mother-in-law. We made a fantastic team and had an amazing time. Despite coming from different generations, we managed to organize ourselves and allow for an active annual vacation. We visited everything we could in ten days, considering we had a small child with us. Every day we went to a different beach, and we had a car. We tried food at several different restaurants, and it was excellent. For all our excursions and restaurant visits, we consulted with the Nikana Agency and went to various places based on their recommendations. We didn't make a mistake; everything was just as they told us at the Agency. By the way, this was our first vacation in Greece. Now, a bit about the accommodation. The lodging was excellent, and everything was as shown on the website. The rooms were comfortable, the bathroom quite spacious, which surprised me. The terrace was also large and comfortable, which is important when traveling with a child. The yard was great, with a pool, everything. It was literally as depicted online. The air conditioning was included in the price, and they changed towels and bed linens every other day, including cleaning. You can use the washing machine; everything was superb. The kitchen wasn't very well stocked with dishes, but if you need anything, just ask the landlady, and she will provide it without any issues. We will definitely return next year, and to the same accommodation, as there are still many places we haven't seen.
Clean, tidy, suitable for vacationing with children as there are activities in the yard if you cannot go to the beach, the beach is nearby, affordable price, friendly landlady.
Cons
It is a bit far from the village, but we don't see that as a disadvantage. We enjoy walking and dislike noise. Regarding shopping, we went for larger purchases by car. The shower curtain is amusing, as the curtain holder is set very low, so I am curious how one showers.
I visited in the first half of August 2012 with my girlfriend. The accommodation is exceptionally good. Cleanliness and hospitality are at a high level. A four-bed studio on the upper floor. Perfect for families with children. Perhaps that’s why there are children in abundance. There’s shouting, screaming, and noise from morning till night. But that’s how it is all over Thassos; if you don’t like children, you should look for another place :)
200 meters from a very good beach. The apartments are quite spacious and clean. Air conditioning, a pool, and a 10-minute walk to Potos. The owners are very friendly.
Cons
On the upper floor, it gets too hot during warm days (nights), so you have to sleep under the air conditioning! The internet is terrible; once a few people connect, it becomes unusable. Not to mention that the DHCP didn’t work at all, so I barely managed to set it up. Too many children.
I stayed with my husband and friends. The accommodation is decent, but certainly not suitable for young couples. There are many children, and mostly families with kids. The pool is nice, and San Antonio plaza is quite lovely when you don't feel like going further. The accommodation is cleaned every two days, towels are changed every two days, and bed linens every four days. On the upper floor in the studios, it is unbearable without air conditioning during the period we were there (from August 6 to August 17). The air conditioning had to run at night because it was extremely hot, especially if the neighbors enjoy shouting, like ours did, sleep is impossible. The hosts are truly fantastic, the bar is well-stocked, there’s a fridge by the pool, coffee and cake with coffee are delightful, they are polite and kind.
Proximity to San Antonio beach, friendly hosts.
Cons
Many children, heat for sleeping.
From August 1 to August 11, 2012, I stayed with my family, my wife and my 13-year-old daughter, for the first time on Thassos. The nature is exceptionally beautiful, with numerous stunning beaches, the sea is crystal clear and warm, and the climate is favorable. The property, Studio Suzana, is very nicely decorated, clean, and the hostess is extremely kind. The distance to San Antonio beach is not great, and there is always space on the beach. The hostess's tolerance deserves every praise. Your agency provided us with completely accurate and comprehensive information about the accommodation in the most courteous manner, and we are very satisfied with your attitude towards us.
Proximity to the beach, pool on the property, beautifully landscaped yard, regular changing of linens, good maintenance of cleanliness, kind hostess.
Cons
Noise from the nearby main road.
During our stay at the Suzana studios, I was accompanied by my husband and our eight-year-old son from July 21st to July 29th. The studios in both buildings are beautifully arranged, with every detail meticulously considered. What pleasantly surprised us was the level of hygiene. We entered a clean and fragrant studio, and the cleaner came every other day to tidy up and wipe down the room and bathroom, as well as to change the towels. The bed linens were changed every four days. I know that for some this may seem normal, but we have not encountered such a high standard of cleanliness before. This applies not only to the rooms but also to the pool and surrounding areas. These studios mainly attract guests from Serbia, and our child made many friends with whom he spent wonderful days by the pool. It is worth noting that these studios are not located in the heart of the town but are somewhat secluded. This was exceptionally good for us, as they are surrounded by trees and grass, making it much fresher than in the city. The beautiful San Antonio beach is just a five-minute walk from the studios. There are no crowds, and everyone can have their own section of the beach and sea, which was important to us. The town of Potos is a ten-minute walk away, which we enjoyed almost every evening. All in all: friendly hosts, decent and clean studios, a pool with sun loungers, a lawn, and trees in the vicinity - a true delight! I would recommend a stay at this establishment to anyone.
Location - seclusion from the town; Exceptional hygiene; Beautifully maintained courtyard and pool, with the opportunity to meet many interesting people;
Cons
The path to the beach is unpaved, which can sometimes be a bit annoying as you get all dusty; There is no promenade along the coast, and when walking along the main road, part of the path to Potos lacks a sidewalk, forcing you to walk at the edge of the road. This is not very convenient when you have children.
We stayed from July 31 to August 8, 2012, at the Suzana apartments and we were extremely satisfied. The hosts were very kind, the place was exceptionally clean, and the pool was perfect. The beautiful San Antonio beach is nearby, and the restaurant next to the accommodation truly makes you feel like you are in Greece, as soft Greek music can be heard from it. We recommend this accommodation for families with children.
proximity to the beach, cleanliness, spacious terrace and bathroom
Cons
small kitchen
A family vacation in July 2012. An excellent accommodation, clean, with a beautiful yard filled with greenery and a swimming pool. A perfect starting point for exploring the island, because if you plan to stay in Potos, Limenaria, or Limenas on Thassos, you might as well not go. The beaches in those towns are the worst, while the island itself boasts phenomenal ones. We didn't manage to visit everything, but even without the habit of returning to the same places on Thassos, we have a reason to go back again.
Good location, neither too close nor too far from the center, clean, tidy, beautifully arranged yard, pool, internet
Cons
There are none for us.
In July 2012, I stayed with my family and a small baby at the Suzana studio. We were all extremely satisfied with the service, accommodation, and the atmosphere that prevails here. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, our little one enjoyed his time. The proximity to the beach and the pool in the courtyard allowed us to cool off and relish this vacation. This studio and its friendly hosts have our highest recommendations!
Proximity to the beach, pool, a good tavern within the old building of the studio, everything is clean and well-maintained.
Cons
A lot of stairs in the old building.
During the period from July 19 to July 26, 2012, I was with my family (my wife, myself, and two children) at Suzana Studios in Potos. We rented a studio with 3+1 beds (a French bed, a regular bed, and a sofa bed). We are very satisfied with the accommodation; the information on the website fully corresponds to the actual conditions, so our overall impression of the vacation is excellent. The studio is not large, but it has everything necessary (towels, clean linens, enough glasses, cutlery, plates, pots, pans, a kettle, air conditioning...). The hygiene is at a high level, towels and linens are changed every two days, which is quite rare in Greece! The landlady, Irini, is a wonderful person, very friendly and accommodating, a true gem of a person. She helps guests whenever they find themselves in trouble (lost handbags, health issues, car problems...). We are very grateful to the Nikana website and the eponymous agency, as well as to the kind Ana, for their helpfulness and professionalism - everything written on the website turned out to be accurate, and the reservation process went smoothly without any issues. A BIG THANK YOU!!!
Excellent accommodation (clean, tidy, tastefully furnished), large terrace (4x2m), shade (most studios are in pleasant shade, which suited us particularly well), two pools that are cleaned daily (a paradise for children), parking available, close to the beach (100 m), excellent restaurant within the complex.
Cons
It's a pity they don't have apartments (as they are usually a bit larger than the studios). In our case, Potos and our accommodation were located as far as 30 km from the beach we liked the most (Kinira), which posed a minor problem for us (more financially, due to gas).
From July 12 to July 22, 2012, I stayed with my husband at Suzana Studios and I can only express my praise for the vacation we spent there, both regarding the accommodation and the beautiful island of Thassos. Since it was our first time vacationing there, we hoped for a pleasant experience, but it is an understatement to say that our holiday was enjoyable; it exceeded our expectations. Staying on the island of Thassos is something you must experience, as words cannot capture its beauty. As for the accommodation, the price-to-quality ratio is fair, and the hygiene is exceptional. The maid changes the linens and cleans every two days, which is, as you would agree, a pleasant experience. The studios are of decent size, but it wouldn't hurt to have a few more square meters. However, considering that you spend most of the day exploring the island, this is not a significant issue. The terrace attached to our studio (the building next to the main road) offered a wonderful view on the right side of the surrounding hills and olive groves, while on the left side, we had a view of the sea. The only downside is that there is no partition wall between the terraces, so you are somewhat compelled to socialize with the neighbors, while we would rather enjoy the view. Be sure to visit at least the first five beaches from Nikana's list; you won't regret it, and definitely make a trip to the Monastery of Saint Archangel Michael at least once. Personally, I believe there is no one who will not be left breathless by its position on the cliff, offering a stunning view of the sea, as well as the indescribable peace you feel as you step inside.
Secluded from the crowds and noise, yet close to everything; secured parking; the beautiful scent of flowers and olives; enjoying the chirping of birds while drinking your morning coffee.
Cons
None.
The rooms are remarkably clean, clean, clean.
Exceptional cleanliness.
Cons
The rooms in the older building are located next to the road, which can make it somewhat noisy.
From June 3rd to June 15th, 2012, I stayed at Suzana Studios with my husband and our seven-year-old son. The accommodation was excellent, clean, and tidy, away from the noise of central Potos. The studio owners were exceptionally kind and accommodating. San Antonio beach, located about 80 meters from the accommodation, is wonderful, as are the other nearby beaches - Notos and Psilijamos. Truly a perfect vacation!
Excellent accommodation, affordable prices, proximity to the beach, as well as a pool within the accommodation, especially appreciated by the children who were thrilled with the pool.
Cons
No drawbacks whatsoever.
Traveling with family in August 2011. Everything is excellent for the hosts; the pool is clean, and there is always someone from the hosting family present. Feel free to leave younger children. The prices and quality at the tavern are satisfactory, and the beach is just a 3-minute walk away. Generally, the Greeks should pay a bit more attention to cleanliness on the side roads, such as plastic bags, etc. The apartment is clean, with towels, soap, and a faucet next to the grill rated five stars. The air in August is fantastic, filled with the aromas of various vegetation. In the smaller studios, we never turned on the air conditioning; a gentle breeze flows through the balcony all day. Great Mr. Tasos, bring us air that does not lead to death! Be sure to visit Iris Gold and bring broken gold (old jewelry); fair trading is guaranteed.
Clean, hospitable hosts, comfortable courtyard, pool, grill, parking (a significant problem for Potos), free internet, proximity to the beach, tranquility, ideal for families with children, well-coordinated groups.
Cons
For some, the distance to the center may be an issue, but that is what we need. The sanitary fittings in the bathroom could use some refreshing; faucets and shower batteries should not be worn out and semi-functional (and this is the case with all apartments in Greece) as soon as the bathroom is new.
We were guests from August 3rd to 11th, 2011. The rooms are somewhat smaller than we are used to in Greece, but they are clean and well-maintained. We had an issue with the air conditioning that wasn't working, but the owners promptly called a technician and had it repaired. Within the apartment complex, there is also a tavern where the prices are the same as in Potos. The food is satisfactory, and the tavern owner is exceptionally friendly and witty, and he supports Partizan :). The apartments are nearly on the San Antonio beach, which is sandy, spacious, and perfect for morning swims. Close to the apartments, in our opinion, are some of the most beautiful beaches on Thassos (Notos, Roso Gremos, etc.). The apartments are a 5-6 minute walk from the center of Potos, which is an advantage as there are no parking issues and no crowds. We dined at several restaurants, but the best meal we had was at the restaurant Irini (the friendly and attentive staff truly impressed us). Excellent cipuro and seafood :)
Proximity to the most beautiful beaches, ample parking space, a pool within the apartment complex, discreet owners ...
Cons
Small rooms
Villa Suzana is the finest villa we have seen in Potos. I cannot even begin to describe how much it offers for a modest price. Everything is impeccably clean, the hostess is always cheerful, and she readily accommodates all our requests. In the evenings, the children delighted in the beautiful garden of the villa while we sipped coffee and browsed social media. In my opinion, this villa deserves a solid ten.
Location, the San Antonio beach is beautiful, the cleanliness of the villa, pool, and garden is phenomenal, everything is exceptional.
Cons
None.
We vacationed in Potos from August 31 to September 16, 2011. A family of four with two small children (6 years and 1.5 years old). The accommodation was satisfactory, the only issue was that the kitchen was quite small. The hosts deserve all the praise, always accommodating and I have nothing but commendations for them. Irina (I believe that is the landlady's name) is truly wonderful – she is courteous to all guests. The cleanliness was at a high level and I have no complaints. The only thing that bothered me was the noise, as the road is right next to the villa, but we eventually got used to it. The garden is beautiful, as is the pool, but since the pool is not fenced, one must be very careful with the children to prevent them from falling in. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, but it is nothing special. The entrance to the water is rocky. We were also bothered by the distance from Potos, not so much the distance itself but the lack of a pedestrian path, i.e., a sidewalk, so we had to walk along the road where cars pass.
cleanliness, the landlady's kindness, the pool
Cons
noise from the nearby road
The accommodation at Suzanna is highly recommended. The exceptionally kind and lovely hostess, Irini, will do everything to ensure that your stay is just as it should be. The bed linen was changed every two days, and the maid also cleaned the room on the second day. The pool is excellent and maintained daily, with either Irini herself or a member of her staff present, ensuring that the children were thoroughly satisfied and could safely enjoy the pool on their own. I am certain that during my next visit to Thassos, my choice of accommodation will be Villa Suzanna.
Peace and tranquility Cleanliness Kindness A good restaurant right next to the villa, with reasonable prices.
Cons
There are no shops nearby; one must go to Potos, as the accommodation is about 1.5 km from the center of Potos.
I spent 15 days vacationing in July 2011. I found my accommodation on Ana Nikolic's website. The accommodation was truly excellent, and I would particularly recommend it to parents with small children due to the lovely pool and well-maintained yard. The beach is close by, approximately 200 meters away. There is so much beauty on Thassos, especially the kind and friendly hosts. I would recommend exploring the entirety of Thassos, and if you have the time, visit all the beaches recommended by Ana.
Tranquility, kindness of the hosts.
Cons
There are no downsides. Everything is arranged so that the guest feels comfortable and pleasant.
I vacationed in June 2011 during the pre-season with two adults and a small child, at a price of 35 euros. The accommodation is somewhat lacking for that price (the walls are not plastered, just painted), and when they charge 60 euros during the season, it definitely does not deserve that price. Inside, there is a mini kitchen with necessary utensils, a television, air conditioning, a French bed, and one single bed with the possibility of adding another auxiliary bed. There is a large and spacious terrace with an awning, but without partitions, so if you are not in the end room, you will have problems with neighbors, as you can peek into their rooms at any moment, and they can do the same to you. The rooms are regularly cleaned. Outside the studio, there is a large green yard with a children's playground and a pool, as well as barbecue equipment, which is excellent for children. The studio is about 600 meters from the city center, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage, depending on your perspective. There are no stores nearby, so you have to go to the center, which can sometimes be frustrating with a small child, unless you use a car, of course. The owner is extremely kind and communicative and will help you with anything you ask her. There is also wireless internet available. The place is ideal for families with small children. The beach is about 80 meters from the studio, sandy, clean, with a few restaurants, sunbeds, and straw umbrellas, which are charged at 2 euros, or you can buy a drink, which is again cheaper than in Montenegro. The sea is fantastic. Next to the studio, there is an excellent restaurant with national dishes and reasonable prices, which is frequented by the local population, indicating that it is reliably good.
1. Large yard with green grass and olive trees. 2. Mini playground for children with swings, slides, seesaws. 3. Pool - nice and clean. 4. You can barbecue in the yard. 5. The landlady is extremely helpful. 6. Proximity to the beach. 7. Not overpriced.
Cons
1. Overpriced accommodation. 2. Terraces are not partitioned, so you can hear and see everything from the neighbors, and vice versa. 3. Distance from the center - 600 m. 4. No stores.
In August 2011, we visited our godparents (four adults and four children). The accommodation was excellent, always clean - cleaned every other day, which is particularly important when traveling with small children. The yard is beautiful, with various amenities for children, the pool is clean, and the hostess is very kind and always at your service. The beach is about 80-100 meters away, but the path to the beach is not paved, so you walk along a dusty trail (you can also take the parallel street which is paved). Cars are parked at the entrance to the yard. The beach is sandy (great for kids), it's okay, but it somewhat resembles river beaches because the sand is gray. After visiting other beaches, we didn't like this one anymore, but for the first day or two, it's fine; there are cafes, restaurants, and sunbeds that either cost money or you pay for a drink. The accommodation is about 600 meters away from the town, which is a "small problem" because there is no path along the main road, so when you go with small children, it can be a bit "stressful", especially in the evening. It would also be better if there was a market closer, so you don't have to carry bags in the evening, but when everything else is fine, this isn't too bad. The surrounding beaches, pastries from the bakery, seedless grapes, and the gold factory are not worth mentioning.
Beautiful accommodation, spacious terraces, tidy, quiet, lovely greenery, kind hostess, close to the beach.
Cons
Far from the town, poor path to the beach, hairdryers in the rooms are broken (be sure to bring your own if you plan to dry your hair). The price of accommodation could be a bit lower. The main complaint is that you have to walk along the main road to get to the town, meaning there is no pedestrian path!!!!!!!!!!!! Zais
The accommodation is exceptionally clean, featuring a well-maintained yard, a swimming pool, sun loungers, umbrellas, swings, and wireless internet. The hostess is friendly and always at your service. There is ample parking space available. The apartment is located near Potos beach. You can easily walk to the beach as well as to the center of Potos. Numerous restaurants are in close proximity, yet peace and tranquility remain undisturbed. By car, you can choose from various beautiful beaches, and it’s hard to determine which one is the most stunning. I highly recommend Trypiti beach with a nearby restaurant. Additionally, I suggest the beaches that are just a 5-minute drive from Villa Suzanna Rossogremos and Notos.
Cleanliness Comfort and convenience Affordable price Location Swimming pool
Cons
We vacationed with two children (ages 3 and 6) at Villa Suzana in Potos from August 20 to 30, 2010, in a newer (yellow) building. The rooms are spacious, as are the terraces, and the cleanliness is truly at the highest level. The landlady, Irini, is very kind and is always ready to assist with anything needed. In the beautifully maintained yard, there are play equipment for children (swings, seesaws...) on the grass. The water in the pool is crystal clear, both in the large pool (where the depth gradually increases) and in the small children's pool. If it matters to anyone, there is also wireless internet. I would particularly recommend this villa to those traveling by car to Greece for several reasons. First, it has easy access from the highway and sufficient parking space, which is a significant issue in Potos. Second, the beach near the villa is decent (not perfect as there are some stones at the water's edge, but further in, the sand is lovely). It is not far, accessible via a dirt path. Since there are several fantastic beaches in the area, we only swam here once. The town beach is quite beautiful (nicer than other town beaches), but we only visited it once due to the overwhelming crowds. Simply put, there is no need to visit any town beach on Thassos given all that it offers. If you are driving, be sure to choose your villa wisely, as you will often leave your car far from the villa and have to carry beach gear on foot (at least twice a day). It is easier to be further from the center, to function normally in coming and going to the beaches, and to take evening strolls. So, for those who love to explore beaches :-), this is a perfect base. Villa Suzana offers one of the best value-for-money ratios. The beaches I recommend in relation to Potos are: 1. Psili Ammos (only 5-6 km to the east) is a beautiful beach with fine sand, clear water, a gradual shallow area, and ample parking, where soft music wafts to the water from a charming café; 2. Notos (sandy, about 2-3 km to the east) is a small, clean beach that should be experienced; 3. Aliki (sandy, about 15-20 km to the east) is for many one of the most beautiful due to its surroundings, the calmest sea, also clean, but go in the morning to avoid the afternoon crowds; 4. Paradise (sandy, about 25-30 km to the east) has a long shallow area, perfect for those who love waves, large, but the road to it is very poor (about 200m); 5. Mermerna (better to go via the western side about 45 km) is a beach with the most beautiful color that must be experienced, but there is about 4 km of dirt road to it from Makriamos; 6. Makriammos (closer via the western side) is a beach for a full day, and in my opinion, it is worth paying the entrance fee as it is the most complete and best-maintained complex on the island, with stunning sand, spacious, long shallow areas, pools available, showers, children's playgrounds, sports fields, nice cafés, a mini zoo with deer, and walking paths...; 7. Pahis (about 30 km to the west) is a beach for those who love natural shade, large, sandy, long shallow area, ample parking; 8. Atspas ("Sugar Beach" about 10 km to the west), small, sandy, a lovely cove, with a long (though a bit murky that day) shallow area...; I would also suggest Livadi, Golden Beach, Glifoneri, and definitely check out Giolu, which is a bit further from Psili Ammos (ideal for diving into the water). Regards!!!
Spacious rooms and terraces, beautiful yard, cleanliness and tidiness, exceptionally well-maintained pool, tranquility, parking available in front of the villa, internet, kindness of the landlady...
Cons
Distance from the center (though not terrible), the beach at the villa is good, but there are many better options.
I spent my summer vacation in Suzana with my husband and twin daughters (7 years old) in July 2011. The accommodation is perfect for families with children. The yard is shaded all day and is beautifully arranged for enjoyment and play. Besides countless sunbeds, there is also a mini playground for children and a barbecue for gourmets. The pool is quite decent in size and impeccably clean. Parking is not an issue at all. The rooms, or rather studios, are spacious with very large bathrooms. The terraces are also generous in size. We were fortunate that our terrace was in the shade all day. Moreover, the entire building is surrounded by greenery, so we only turned on the air conditioning the first evening, until we realized it was unnecessary. I must mention that we were accommodated on the ground floor and that the studios on the upper floor get some sun during the day. The landlady, Irini, is a wonderful person, full of understanding for all, both necessary and unnecessary, guest requests. I believe everyone feels like a special guest thanks to her. We have vacationed in Greece six times at different places, but we have never encountered such a warm welcome as we did with Irini. The beach is a leisurely 3-4 minute walk away, partly through the shade of olive trees, from the studios. It is sandy, spacious, and beautiful. Every day we visited a different beach, and each one has its own story. Of course, we didn't visit them all, which is one reason to return to Tasos. The only complaint about this whole experience is that there is no supermarket nearby, but that is also solvable. Potos is about a ten-minute walk away. Lastly, I want to mention that we organized everything in collaboration with Ana. This was our first vacation without an agency's mediation, and we were a bit skeptical, but Ana dispelled all our doubts after the first contact. I want to thank her for recommending this accommodation to us. We will definitely return to Tasos, again with Ana's help, and probably to Studio Suzana. One more note: everything you read on her website is the truth and nothing but the truth.
Spacious studios, large shaded yard, big pool, friendly hosts, everything is clean and well-kept, beautiful beach close to the accommodation, ample parking space, secluded from noise yet close to town.
Cons
Lack of a supermarket nearby.
This year, my family, consisting of two boys aged six and two, my husband, and I, spent our summer in Potos. We went on vacation on August 18th with friends who also have a little girl. We were accommodated in Potos, but we managed to see all the beauties of Thassos during the ten days we stayed. The apartments in Potos, Suzzana, are very nicely arranged, but what is my priority is cleanliness. For that, we really have no complaints. On the contrary, the bed linens were changed twice during our ten-day stay, and the towels were changed every two days. This is wonderful because I am usually annoyed in Greece when they leave you to clean and maintain hygiene on your own. The hostess, Irini, is truly very kind. Since we have small children and we get everything dirty quickly, we used the washing machine twice without any problems; truly, all praise for her kindness. For families planning a vacation with children, this place is highly recommended. The park that the apartments have is enclosed and away from any traffic, so the children can play freely while you prepare for an evening stroll. The nearest beach is a five-minute walk from the apartments and is quite decent. When you plan to stay and relax for a few days, you will be satisfied with this beach. Since the center of Potos is a ten-minute walk from the apartments, the evening stroll will be pleasant as you won't need to drive, allowing you to unwind from the hustle and bustle of Belgrade or any other city. In conclusion, all the reasons are in favor of visiting Potos and these particular apartments: - they are clean - they are close to the center - they have a pool (for children) - a kind hostess - peace and quiet necessary for relaxation.
The apartments come highly recommended, especially for families vacationing with small children. It is peaceful, the center is nearby, making evening walks very enjoyable (I must mention that there is no sidewalk for the entire way, which might pose a problem for some), especially for children.
Cons
We have no specific complaints, but if the beach were a bit nicer, everything would be ideal.
I spent my vacation with my family: my husband and our two daughters (6 years and 2 years old). We were accommodated in Villa Suzanna, in a larger studio. The atmosphere was truly homely. The cleanliness was at an admirable level, with the apartments being cleaned daily and towels changed every other day. If you need, you can request fresh towels and anything else you may require every day. The pool within the apartment complex is also very clean, and when you are at the pool, the most gracious hostess Irina brings you excellent refreshments. The beach is a 10-minute walk from the apartment, spacious and clean, making it an ideal choice for families with small children. The center of Potos is an 8-minute walk away, so everything is nearby. I recommend the bakery that is not on the main street but in a side street. The restaurant next to Villa Suzanna is excellent and quite affordable. I highly recommend this accommodation.
I have listed them in the previous description.
Cons
Wonderful, as always. We sincerely hope that next summer my family (my wife and two kids) will spend time in that villa. All praises to the hostess Irina and to you, Ana. We truly have nothing but kind words. Warm greetings from Belgrade to Potos, and we also send our regards to the staff at CASSA DI PIZZA (especially Dimitros). See you in the summer!
The villa is excellent for families with children, clean, tidy, and the pool is fantastic. The hostess deserves all the praise. We hardly had time to buy fruit, as we were constantly gifted apricots. Highly recommended!
Cons
Honestly, I don't know what else to add.
I was with my wife and two children (3 and 16). From the very beginning of our stay, the landlady was the one who "connected the dots". She took care of everything we needed, always present around the pool (as was her husband, whom I must not forget) and truly did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thus, the apartment is quite decent, the small terrace overlooks the yard and the pool, everything is within reach, there’s a bar stocked with a variety of drinks from Serbia that the hosts received as gifts from our people, a homely atmosphere, and next to Villa Suzana is an excellent tavern, the beach is just a three-minute walk away...
This is a place ideal for a family vacation, and its main advantages are - kindness and cleanliness. And the fantastic ouzo made by the hosts. One bottle was brought back to Serbia as a gift. Just be careful with it, as it hits hard.
Cons
For those who need the center of Potos, it would be convenient to have their own transportation. It’s about a kilometer to a kilometer and a half from Villa Suzana to the epicenter of activity, which may not be bad since it’s in a quiet location.
The accommodation at Suzanna is highly recommended. The exceptionally kind and lovely host Irini will do everything to ensure that your stay is just as it should be. The bed linens were changed every two days, and the maid also cleaned the room every other day. The pool is excellent and maintained daily, with either Irini herself or a member of her staff present, allowing the children to enjoy themselves safely and independently in the pool. I am certain that during my next visit to Thassos, my choice of accommodation will be Villa Suzanna. A big greeting to "the ambassador of Serbian tourists in Thassos," Ana, without whom this enjoyment would not be complete.
Peace, tranquility, kindness, pool
