Based on last year's experience in Thassos, specifically in Potos, we decided to revisit the destination this year. We knew exactly what we were looking for, and we quickly made our decision to choose Pension Ageri. We received even more than we had anticipated. The accommodation is in an ideal location, with municipal parking (there is always space available), direct access to the sea, and a promenade. The studio was on the ground floor, which was even better as we had a huge terrace. Everything is nearby, and convenience is at hand. The cleanliness is rated a perfect 10, with towels changed every other day and bed linens every third day. If we return to Potos, which I am sure we will, this will undoubtedly be our choice again.

We spent six nights in Ageri and our impressions are excellent. The positive aspects include: proximity to the beach and the city, conveniently located in an ideal spot with two gates. By opening the lower gate, you are just 100 meters from the beach. By opening the upper gate, you find yourself in the center. Towels were changed daily and the apartment was cleaned regularly, with bed linens changed every three days.

We had a delightful experience in July 2023 while staying at Ageri Pension. We spent a few days in the exquisite triple studio (Rhemba) with a sea view, even though we had booked "Thea"; however, the quality was the same, so it was not a significant issue. Excellent services, with daily cleaning. The communication with the landlady Lena and her husband was pleasant; they speak English and are unobtrusive (they own several pensions in Potos, should you need another option). Ageri Pension is situated in the heart of Potos, conveniently close to everything. There is a free parking lot right in front of the villa, near the sea, with ample space available at all times.

A half-minute walk to the beach and all the happenings, the location is excellent. The staff is polite and unobtrusive. The bedding is changed regularly, and the cleanliness is at a commendable level. In front of the accommodation, there is free public parking, well-lit, and there was always a space available. The internet is excellent. The accommodation is highly recommended for families with two small children. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended.

There is an unpleasant odor throughout, the furniture is old and unrenovated, and the bathroom is a disaster, typically Greek, without a shower cabin. We moved into this lovely accommodation at the beginning of August 2019. Our impressions are mostly positive, with a few minor complaints. We booked a four-bed studio on the ground floor with a view of the courtyard. It is charming, although it has a few drawbacks. For the first 2-3 days, there was a strong feeling of humidity; I don't know if it was because it hadn't been rented out before us. There was a musty smell coming from the kitchen cabinets; luckily, we didn't use them, but for someone who would, it would be impossible due to the extremely unpleasant odor. Since it is a studio, the room and kitchen are one space, but they are nicely separated by a large wooden bar, so the musty smell didn't spread into the room but remained confined to the kitchen cabinets. The studio is as depicted in the pictures, except for the bathroom. There was only one picture of a decorated sink and nothing more, so we couldn't see what it was really like from the images. The landlady skillfully avoided that issue. It is not actually a bathroom; it is a small WC where you practically have to squeeze in with the toilet to take a shower. Because of this, I wanted to come to your agency and report it, as it is a total disaster and a shame. This should be photographed and shown so that people wouldn't get upset and disappointed. After all, it is a vacation. The location is more than perfect. It is situated 50m from the city beach. It is quiet at night. Regarding parking, it is not private but public, well-lit, and free; therefore, it is not guaranteed, but there have never been any problems finding a spot. There has always been space available. Our room was tidied every day, which involved taking out the trash and some cleaning of the floor. Our linens were changed on the third and sixth days. All in all, we spent ten wonderful nights there. Best wishes to Nikani and her team, and I highly recommend collaborating with them. We will be in touch soon for our next trip and new cooperation! We were accommodated in this wonderful lodging at the end of July 2019. Our impressions are varied. Let me begin :) The accommodation is beautiful. We reserved an apartment on the second floor. It is indeed very charming, with a lovely terrace and a view of the sea, clean, well-decorated, and solidly equipped. It truly looks just as it is depicted in the pictures. However, this does not apply to all accommodation units. Be cautious when making a reservation. Inquire about which accommodation unit you are getting. There are apartments with views of the hallway, courtyard, shared terrace, etc. The location is perfect. We are situated between two beaches. One (the city beach) is visible from the terrace. Just a few steps and you are on the sand. You are in the center of all the happenings, yet it is peaceful at night. The parking is public, well-lit, and free; it is not private, but there has never been a problem finding a parking spot. You can see your car from the terrace. Now, included in the price, which is, mind you, not small, is a continental breakfast that is replenished as needed. You do not have it. Or at least that was the case for us. We received it when we checked in and never again. We did not complain, as we did not want to waste our precious vacation time and ruin the overall impression. But that is a serious downside. All in all, we spent nine wonderful days there. Wishing all the best to everyone traveling!!!

Spacious and tidy, the location is excellent, the bathroom is comfortable, but there is no cabin, the curtain clings to the body, everything was soaked after the shower, and the water almost entered the room. Streetlight directly shines into the bedroom, fortunately, the awning was there. All in all, it's satisfactory, but the room on the first floor facing the street is overpriced for what it offers. The terrace is narrow, but it was sufficient for us. It wouldn't hurt if at least a small part of the terrace overlooking the sea was available for enjoying coffee, there is enough space. If anyone is planning to stay here, they should look for rooms on the front side, but the price is significantly higher.

My Opinion on the Accommodation The accommodation is overrated. The bed in the room is hard, as if one is sleeping on the floor. In the pictures, the accommodation appears to have a Mediterranean vibe due to the color combinations and details. In reality, it is an old house with dirty windows and carpentry cleverly styled to achieve that Mediterranean look, but the windows are reminiscent of those in my grandmother's house. The bathroom is cramped. In any case, the accommodation is worth at least 40% less. Potos is the worst town in Greece that I have visited. It is not even a town, really; it consists of two parallel streets lined with Chinese shops, gyros stands, pastry shops, and subpar taverns. The beaches on Thassos are decent, perhaps comparable to those in Sithonia or even before Kassandra. Best regards and all the best.

We had a perfect vacation at the Ageri accommodation. It is located right on the promenade and offers a beautiful view of the sea. One exit leads to the sea, while the other leads to the town center and shops. Additionally, there is ample parking in front of the accommodation. The owners are extremely friendly and ready to respond to all our requests. All in all, we wholeheartedly recommend it.

We stayed in a four-person apartment on the ground floor, boasting a stunning view of the sea. The terrace and the view are truly magnificent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the room without a sea view is rather dark; however, since we didn't spend much time indoors, it didn't bother us. The bathroom is somewhat inconvenient for showering, but the apartment description mentioned the absence of a shower cabin, so we were not surprised. The kitchen is equipped with basic items (shallow and deep plates, cutlery, mugs, glasses, two pots, a frying pan, a coffee pot, and an electric kettle for water). The owners are friendly and available at any moment should you need anything. On our last day, we even received a gift from the owner :) The apartment is very close to the city beach, and there is ample parking in front of the apartment by the harbor. Sun loungers on the beach were free with a drink purchase (there was no minimum amount). Right behind the apartment, there is a promenade with shops, a bakery, and a supermarket.

The kitchen was not adequately equipped for our needs, lacking some additional cookware, but it has the basics. The guesthouse is very close to the city beach (literally a minute away), which the children really enjoyed, although we explored the entire island thoroughly. In the evenings, there is no noise, which is another plus, and the guesthouse is located just about twenty meters from the promenade in Potos. There is ample parking space in front of the villa (on the quay by the harbor), just be prepared to navigate through very narrow streets filled with pedestrians. The use of air conditioning is free for all guests, which is a significant advantage compared to other villas, and the electricity does not turn off when you leave the room (for charging phones, tablets, or similar devices). The barbecue in the yard is available for everyone, and we personally used it several times, as well as the outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach, which is truly excellent for refreshing. All in all, I recommend this accommodation for families with children who value peace and proximity to the beach.

I stayed with two children in Ageri, specifically in a three-bed studio on the second floor. The accommodation is quite decent, and the room is cleaned every three days. The owner of the guesthouse was available to assist us with accommodation inquiries and to advise us on what to visit on the island since it was our first time there. The kitchen was adequately equipped for our needs. The guesthouse is very close to the city beach (literally a minute away), which the children greatly appreciated. In the evenings, it is quiet, which is another plus, and the guesthouse is located just about twenty meters from the promenade in Potos. There is ample parking space in front of the villa (on the quay by the port), but be prepared to navigate very narrow streets filled with people. A small downside of the specific room we stayed in is that it has only one exterior wall and one window, making any ventilation and sleeping without air conditioning impossible. The adjacent room (number 1) did not have these issues, and the couple staying there hardly used the air conditioning at all. This is likely why the owner decided to offer free air conditioning to all guests. Overall, I recommend this accommodation for families with children who value peace and proximity to the beach.

Here are a few things I wish to share, as I stayed from September 1, 2015, to September 11, 2015, with two children aged one and three years. When I booked the accommodation, I requested a crib and received it on a voucher. However, when I arrived at Ageri, the landlady, who is highly praised by everyone, stated that she would bring the crib during the day. I could tolerate that, but when she brought the crib without a mattress and claimed that she rents out the crib without a mattress, insisting that my child must sleep on the crib's slats, I lost my temper, as any normal parent would. She was rude and told me to complain to the Nikana agency, even though the contract states that we resolve all irregularities with the accommodation owners. The next day, we went to the Nikana agency, but they also did not help us, although they were astonished by the landlady's behavior at the Ageri guesthouse. Therefore, dear parents, think carefully and gather information if you wish to choose this accommodation. I hope to assist parents with babies so they do not go through what we did.

In mid-August, my friends and I (four adults) set off into the unknown. I found the accommodation and felt the pressure and responsibility – what if they don’t like it, what if it’s not quite as they told me in Nikani... and indeed, it isn’t. They deceived me, and I deceived my husband and friends. EVERYTHING IS MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL AND BETTER!!! The location is ideal – the sea is closer than it takes for me to jump in and wash my hands instead of going to the tap, the cafes are nearby, just enough for me to shout from the terrace – one coffee please, and behind me a market from needle to locomotive and a bakery, where the smell tells me the pastry is ready. Downsides? Weight loss where it shouldn’t be! Oh yes, extremely important – despite the proximity of everything, there is peace and quiet. How? I don’t know :) It is exceptionally clean. The hosts are almost invisible yet present to fulfill all our wishes. Smiling, cultured, kind... I tell Ana, you deceived us – it’s more beautiful and better than you told us! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Two families stayed from June 24 to July 4, 2013. We were accommodated in ground-floor apartments, surrounded by the most beautiful terrace on Thassos, filled with flowers and greenery, offering a breathtaking view of the sea. The apartments are spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary furniture and dishes (exactly as described and shown in the pictures). Everything is nearby: the beach, bakery, shops, parking, clinic... The hosts are kind, friendly, unobtrusive, yet always available for anything you might need. We are very satisfied with the accommodation, and any future visit to Thassos would certainly be at the Ageri guesthouse.

We stayed from July 22 to August 6, accommodated in a ground-floor studio on the grand floor 3+1, while simultaneously, next to us, my brother's family was settled in a four-person apartment, allowing us to enjoy a vast shared terrace - a courtyard, adorned with flowers and greenery and offering a stunning view of the sea. The studio is spacious, and you have mostly everything you need in terms of furniture and utensils. Lastly, I must mention the hosts, Nikos and his mother, who are very kind and approachable for anything you might need.

There were four of us in total, two couples, so we were allocated two rooms on the first floor, with the entrances to the rooms right next to each other (the rooms were adjacent). It is truly located about a hundred meters from the beach. Everything is nearby: a grocery store, a bakery, a larger supermarket, all within a 5-minute walk. The hostess, Elena, is nice; we only saw her a couple of times, when we arrived and towards the end. The menus in the restaurants are similar, and in all the restaurants we visited, the food, service, and prices were good and affordable. Potos is a lovely place for a holiday, and a car is not necessary (unless you wish to explore other beaches on Thassos). All the establishments are open until 1 or 2 AM, which is just right. I would recommend the fresh fish that is featured on the daily menus in the restaurants.

Family-oriented, July 17, 2011, 15 days, located 30 to 50 meters from the city and small beaches, supermarkets, restaurants, and fast food, very close, between 20 to 50 meters, tucked away, peaceful, no noise, parking available for cars. The owners of the guesthouse, Elena and Nikos, are EXTRA, friendly, sociable, always there to assist, provide information, and socialize.
