During my stay at Boomerang in Potos, I was accompanied by my wife and small child from August 6 to 16, 2024. Potos is a charming little town on Thassos. If you’re traveling by car, the beaches are easily accessible: Pefkari (5 minutes), Tripiti (10-15 minutes), Aliki (35 minutes), Paradise (45 minutes), and many others that we didn’t visit. From here, you have direct access to the village of Theologos, renowned for its excellent lamb. If you have an off-road vehicle, you can drive up to the summit of Ypsarion (1204 m) or to the Astrocamping rest area, and then take hiking trails to the top (30-40 minutes one way). Avoid the road from Theologos to Ypsarion as it is in very poor condition. Caution: only take high vehicles on this road as the gravel is uneven in places. Boomerang is an exceptionally clean and tidy studio/apartment located in a dedicated building. Daily cleaning is organized, and bed linen/towels are changed every three days. It features a TV, safe, and hairdryer. We were also provided with a crib for our little one. They washed our laundry and provided an iron. There’s an interesting platform on the partition between the room and kitchenette where you can place suitcases and other bulkier items – very useful and prevents you from feeling like you’re living in a storage space if you bring a lot of belongings with you. Everything is in its place. The attention to detail and the arrangement of items clearly indicate that the apartment has been carefully decorated with love. The hosts speak Serbian, are very friendly, and are always nearby, handling all formalities quickly and professionally. They are always available to offer advice if needed. Their dedication and kindness go beyond the necessary, and it seems to me that they truly love their work.

Since we began traveling to Greece, which has been around 15 years now, we have changed numerous accommodations. However, the one provided by Mr. Avram and Ms. Rada is undoubtedly the best place we have ever stayed in. 1. The hospitality of the hosts is at an incredible level; we have never experienced such a relationship with guests anywhere else. All our requests and wishes were fulfilled, and we have nothing but praise for Rada and Avram. 2. The cleanliness of the apartment is exceptional; when I say this, I mean the apartment looks like a pharmacy and the towels are changed regularly. Great respect for the maid who does an incredible job. 3. Parking Private parking with a barrier is an amazing advantage in Potos; you can go to the beach, return, and your spot is waiting for you. 4. Location It is located 50 meters from the beach, practically on the promenade, close to a market, bakery, and Giros. :) 5. Excellent internet speed, mosquito nets, a wonderful terrace, a kitchen equipped with everything you need, and excellent air conditioning.

They even helped us with a mechanic since we needed assistance with our car and many other things, I won’t write everything. All in all, we will meet again. What can I say except that "Boomerang" is an excellent choice for anyone who decides to stay there. We stayed in a three-bed studio on the second floor (a family of three). It offered more than enough comfort. The studio has literally everything you need. The kitchen is well-equipped, there’s air conditioning, a terrace, and although it’s not overly spacious, it’s perfectly adequate for short moments of relaxation when you’re not outside. What mattered most to us was hygiene. Compared to many other similar places we have stayed, Boomerang is truly in a league of its own when it comes to cleanliness. The wifi is good, and there is a large parking area that is fenced off exclusively for studio guests. The location is right in the center of Potos, just two minutes from the beach, yet in a quieter environment. However, in the end, the greatest value lies with the owners themselves. Alex is a wonderful man who lives there and takes care of everything. He is a lovely person with so many interesting stories about life and anything that piques your interest. Always kind, smiling, and eager to help. I can honestly say that I miss him a little. All in all, if we go back to Thassos, we know where we will stay.

The studio boasts an excellent location in Potos, just three minutes from the beach. I have never stayed in a cleaner studio since I began vacationing in Greece. The studio is classic, containing everything one might need; perhaps the only drawback is the lack of a larger wardrobe for storage, but this is not a significant issue. Since the two of us were in a triple studio, the single bed served as our wardrobe. The kitchen is superb, equipped with two exceptionally powerful burners. Of course, there is an abundance of cookware. The refrigerator is spacious and features a fairly large freezer. It cools excellently (though I must admit, as soon as I enter the studio, I turn the refrigerator up to maximum). The air conditioning works perfectly and comes at no extra charge. The bathroom is outstanding, very nice, and unrealistically clean, just like the entire studio. The terrace is not overly large, but it is quite comfortable for a small table and two chairs. There is a foldable drying rack on the terrace. Bring clothespins, as we were greeted with only three upon arrival. The hosts are a charming, unobtrusive elderly couple, very warm-hearted. He assured me three times that he would promptly resolve any issue. They speak English exceptionally well. Now, what I consider the greatest advantage of this studio: parking. You have your own enclosed parking space in front of the villa, with a remote-controlled gate. The remote is attached to your magnetic room key, so whenever you return from town, you know your parking spot is waiting for you. Believe it or not, my car was left unlocked overnight twice. Potos is a small town that, it seems to me, like most others, has a parking problem, so having a parking space is incredibly important for a quality vacation. Every day we drove somewhere, exploring beaches, and in the evening, we strolled in Limenarija and Limenas without the worry of circling around Potos in search of parking. All in all, if I ever return to Thassos, I know exactly which villa I will choose. I will not accept any other!

First and foremost, the building is constructed meticulously and of high quality, featuring excellent insulation. Each studio is spacious, tidy, clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The cleanliness is impeccable, with daily maintenance and frequent changes of towels and bed linens. The hosts, Rada and Avrsm, are warm, unobtrusive, yet always present, and very inspiring personalities. A heartfelt recommendation!

(I merely asked Avraam to recommend a mechanic, and after a phone search, he hopped on his motorcycle, rode to the spot where the car broke down, crawled under it, and managed to fix the issue himself!) Truly a phenomenal person! Furthermore, the accommodation itself is exceptionally beautiful, very charming, and cleverly designed, cleaned daily, with towels and linens changed every two days (even more frequently than might be necessary). The location is fantastic as it is in the center, yet sufficiently tucked away from the loudest noise, and the parking is excellent... I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The apartment is cozy, clean, well-maintained, and filled with interesting details for a pleasant stay. Fast WiFi. Every day, the floor is cleaned, trash is taken out, and bed linens are changed every three days. The towels are snow-white and soft as if they were unpacked just then. To quote Natasha, who wrote here: there are mosquito nets on the balcony doors, the studio is equipped with mosquito repellents, dishes, cutlery, a hairdryer, a safe, and even clothespins for laundry. Additionally, the bathroom is clean and tidy, with soap dispensers and toilet paper that is constantly replenished. Interestingly, there is an electrical outlet in the kitchen that works even when you remove the power key. Most importantly, the price of the apartment includes night parking. There is a private parking area secured with a barrier. All praises for the hosts.

A warm welcome, spacious rooms, an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, a generous bathroom, and a secure parking area with a barrier, so you need not worry about where to park when you return tired from one of the beautiful beaches. Everything is within reach. You are right in the center yet slightly tucked away, allowing you to enjoy peace and quiet in your room or on the terrace if you prefer not to stroll in the evening. And let’s not forget the fast and stable Wi-Fi. Studio Boomerang is actually Rada and Avram. Their charisma, energy, unobtrusiveness, and advice on everything you wish to discover, see, or visit are truly captivating. I should mention that this is not our first time in Potos. Three families, six adults and five children. The rooms are comfortable, everything looks just like in the pictures. The linens and towels are changed every three days, and if you ask for them sooner, Rada and Avram are more than happy to accommodate you. Both speak Serbian and English and are eager to offer advice on which stores to shop at and which beaches to visit. The town beach is nearby, as are all the shops and the promenade. Parking is provided, which is a rarity in Potos. This is our third time on Thassos, but if we ever come back, it will surely be to Boomerang Studios. Just to mention, we have always vacationed in hotels, usually opting for all-inclusive options and never in hotels with fewer than four stars, yet the cleanliness and comfort at Boomerang Studios rival those hotels. I must at least attempt to share my impressions from the summer vacation in August 2018 at the Boomerang apartment. I cannot decide what has impressed us more - the accommodation, the hosts Rada and Avram, or the beautiful island of Tasos itself! The apartment is fantastic; I have not a single complaint as we have never experienced such comfort or service before. Everything is impeccably clean, the bed linens are changed every three days, and the apartment and bathroom are cleaned and tidied daily. Hygiene is, therefore, at an admirable level. The owners are available at any moment, unobtrusive yet discreetly present. In the apartment, we also had a hairdryer, dishwashing liquid, a new sponge, dishcloths, a tablecloth, soap, always enough toilet paper, clean and fresh large and medium towels, and immaculate bed linens... Until now, we always had to bring many items ourselves when staying in apartments. The kitchen is fully equipped, even more than necessary. I would also like to mention the strong water pressure for showering. The yard is small, cozy, full of flowers, and peaceful. The parking has video surveillance, which is very important for Potos. So, this year we were indeed very lucky with both the accommodation and Nika; we are truly satisfied, and this has been our most delightful vacation experience! Once again, a huge thank you to the positive and comparable hosts, Rada and Avram, for their kindness and hospitality. We look forward to seeing you next year and every year thereafter... :)

On the beach, there is also a sister bar named "Boomerang" for those who wish to stay out late, while those who choose to remain in the apartment can still enjoy a restful night’s sleep in this tranquil spot, despite being in the heart of the action. This highly professional couple, fluent in multiple languages, is always ready to provide advice on any aspect related to your stay in Potos and Thassos Island. Accommodation highly recommended. The hosts are warm, cheerful, and cordial people - the owner, Avram, is Greek and speaks excellent Serbian, while his wife, Rada, is from Belgrade. Whatever you need, they will either provide it or direct you; you just need to ask. Everything essential is nearby: supermarket, bakery, beach, etc. Yet, it is sufficiently distant to avoid the noise and clamor from the promenade and cafés. Ideally located, yet close. My friend was accommodated right by the beach and mentioned they couldn't breathe from the smell coming from the restaurant, and music could be heard until 3-4 in the morning, along with constant noise throughout the day. Regarding hygiene, we were truly impressed - the cleaner is impeccable, meticulous, and very polite. The apartment is equipped with almost everything you need, and if you lack anything, the owners make a significant effort to provide it. The Wi-Fi speed was commendable; it never lagged or buffered, regardless of what we played for the kids on YouTube or while browsing the internet on our phones. It was very important to us that they have secured parking with video surveillance and a barrier. If I forgot to mention anything, it was certainly good as well.

First of all, I would like to commend the Boomerang accommodation in Potos. Everything was exactly as depicted in the photos, even better. The apartments are cleaned daily, and towels and bed linens are regularly changed. The location is ideal as you are in the center yet in a quiet area. Shops, bakeries, and confectioneries are within reach, and you can still sleep peacefully at night due to the absence of noise. A significant advantage of these apartments is the secured parking with video surveillance, as the city is quite busy and finding parking can be challenging. The town is charming and has everything you may need. Our holiday was made even more delightful by the hosts, Avram and Rada, who are very kind and always available if you need anything. Avram speaks Serbian excellently and knows the entire island, making him the perfect guide for where and what to visit. Warm regards to Avram and Rada, and all the best for the accommodation.

The accommodation is wonderful and is cleaned every day. It is much more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The hosts are truly kind; the owner Rada is from Belgrade, and the owner Avram speaks Serbian excellently. I highly recommend this accommodation as the location is superb, and there is secured parking with video surveillance. We spent a delightful 12 days there, my wife, our two small children, and I.

They are wonderful, warm, and friendly people, while also being very professional in terms of tourism. Regarding the guesthouse, it deserves the highest rating of 10, plus. It is located in a great spot in the heart of Potos, with a very significant advantage - its own parking lot waiting for you. The premises are clean and tidy, with bed linens changed every three days, and the apartment cleaned every other day. Importantly, air conditioning is not charged, and each room has a safe. Everything mentioned met our expectations. Once again, a big greeting to the hosts, Mr. Avram and Mrs. Radmila. Next year, we will return to them, and their establishment comes highly recommended. If you are seeking great comfort, this is not the accommodation for you, but if you wish to feel like a true guest, then this is a perfect choice. The location of the accommodation is excellent, cleanliness is at a high standard, parking is superb, and there is no noise... All praise goes to Avram and Radu, as well as to Avram's father, who made our vacation more enjoyable and sincerely extended a hand of friendship.

The location is right in the center, yet on a quiet street, making it ideal for a peaceful night's sleep. It has its own parking, so your vehicle is safe. The room is equipped with everything necessary for the kitchen, even more than we expected. Cleanliness is maintained at a high level, with towels and linens changed every three days. Tsakalidisi are incredibly accommodating :) Our impression is more than excellent.

Hello, We stayed at Boomerang and were very pleased with the balance between price and comfort. The owners are friendly people and speak multiple languages. The accommodation is well-furnished and exceptionally clean! Parking is located right next to the apartments, although the access to the parking area is a bit unusual - we recommend contacting the owners before your arrival, as you must navigate a one-way street in the opposite direction (which is normal in Greece). The beach bar is lovely and provides excellent service! Greetings to Avram. The only downside is that the beach in Potos is slightly inferior, but the overall impression is a solid 4+ We highly recommend this accommodation! I vacationed with my wife and daughter from July 20 to July 30, 2016, in a three-bed studio for 60 euros per day. I have nothing but praise for the host. The house is located in the very center of Potos, and the studio's space for three people is sufficiently spacious. Parking for the car is provided behind the building, which is a significant issue in Potos. All kinds of shops for various needs are very close by. The municipal beach is approximately 150 meters away on foot. The problem with the municipal beach in Potos is the numerous cafes that have their sunbeds with umbrellas right by the sea, occupying one-third of the total length of the beach (the beach is about 2 km long). On the other part of the beach, you have car access where you can set up your sunshade and sunbeds, and the beach is sandy. There is no shade anywhere, so an umbrella is essential. I am personally bald, and I got sunburned on the ferry that transported us to Thassos. If you drive, there are so many beautiful beaches that you will truly enjoy Thassos. On most beaches, renting umbrellas and sunbeds is mandatory (prices for drinks range from 2.5 to 3.5 euros, coffee is 2.5 euros, which is a condition for obtaining sunbeds).

This summer, we chose to vacation in Thassos... Thanks to the NIKANA team, we found accommodation in Potos at Boomerang Studios. We did not make a mistake in our choice and we are very satisfied with the accommodation. The apartments are located in a very peaceful area, free from noise, and close to the beach. They have their own parking and a bar right on the beach, which allows guests to enjoy free sun loungers. The apartments are extremely clean... The bedding is changed every two days, and the apartments were cleaned almost every day... The owners are kind and friendly.

From June 24 to July 4, 2014, I stayed with my wife and son (2.5 years old). The location is excellent, everything is nearby, which was one of the reasons we chose this accommodation, along with the provided parking and shower cabin (as Greeks generally create poor bathrooms and are stingy with shower cabins). The hosts are kind and friendly, but we prefer to see them as little as possible. The place is tidy, bed linens are changed every three days, and it seems to me that cleaning is done a bit more frequently. It is not noisy from tourists, but it is not possible to sleep with the windows open due to the noise made by their motorcycles from early morning. The biggest issue is that there are no doors between the bedroom and the kitchen, so every sound is audible, even when someone turns in bed. Another complaint concerns the size of the bed (do Greeks save on space or do they make it for themselves, not realizing that their guests (especially Serbs) are taller than them?). The same complaint applies to the size of the shower cabin.

We vacationed from September 1st to September 11th, 2013, as a family with two sons aged 2 and 6. We chose an economy studio primarily because it was more affordable, albeit without a terrace. The kitchen was equipped as described; we brought our own plates and pots, but we didn't use any of them. We selected Boomerang because we received everything we paid for, and we have no regrets. The price included parking, a mosquito net, an LCD television, air conditioning, and we also had free sunbeds and an umbrella since Avram runs the Boomerang bar on the beach, which offered this complimentary service to guests. Thus, we had everything we needed without having to think about anything. The Boomerang bar has 3-4 televisions, where football is watched in the evenings, and during that time, there was the European Basketball Championship, while we watched Formula 1 on Sunday. Everything was within reach; we could get anywhere with the kids in just 2 minutes. The rooms are cleaned every third day. Honestly, we had a wonderful time.

We stayed at the Boomerang guesthouse at the end of June, accommodated in a four-bed apartment on the first floor. The apartment is beautifully decorated, located close to the beach, and the owners are very kind, speaking excellent English. They do everything to make you feel at home.
