Description
Villa Amversa is among the most sought-after villas in Potos, primarily due to its location and then because of the professional and courteous owners. A very beautiful, clean, and well-maintained accommodation. By booking this accommodation, you will surely not go wrong.
The Amversa facilities are located 100m from the central intersection in Potos, and only 30 meters from the beach.
There are two properties with the same name in the same yard. One is closer to the sea, while the other is closer to the street. The properties are divided between two brothers so that each has half of the property.
Amversa Giorgos Corner is the property belonging to the owner named Giorgos and his wife Silvana, our fellow countrywoman. Both have been working with tourists for a long time and are very kind. Many people return to this accommodation because of that.
There are two buildings, and in Giorgos' part, you have studios on the ground floor and on the first floor, of medium size with lovely terraces, as well as one apartment. All accommodation units include a fully equipped mini kitchen, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, mosquito nets, safe, wireless internet, and a terrace overlooking the sea or the city and landscape.
In the lower building, closer to the sea, on the ground floor are:
Studio No.1 is a triple studio with a standard double bed and a single bed with legs and a mattress of standard dimensions (200x90cm), a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, wireless internet, and a terrace with a live fence (jasmine) overlooking the courtyard. The studio is approximately 27m2.
Apartment No.2 consists of two rooms. The first room has a living room with a kitchen, a single bed, and a single bed with legs and a mattress of standard dimensions. The bedroom is separated by doors from the living room and has a double bed and a wardrobe. If necessary, an additional single bed with a standard mattress can be added. The bathroom has a bathtub. The terrace is at the back of the yard. The area of the apartment is 36m2.
Studio No.3 is a quadruple studio that has a double bed, single bed, and a bed with legs and a mattress of standard dimensions, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, wireless internet, and a terrace at the back of the yard. The area of this studio is 32m2.
On the upper floor, in the lower building closer to the sea, there are three studios:
Studio No.4 is a triple studio with a standard double bed and a single bed with legs and a mattress of standard dimensions (200x90cm), a kitchen, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, wireless internet, and a large terrace overlooking the courtyard and partially the sea. It covers an area of 25m2.
Studio No.5 is a quadruple studio with a double bed, single bed, and a bed, kitchen, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, wireless internet, and a terrace with a sea view. The studio is approximately 29m2.
Studio No.6 is a quadruple studio with a double bed, single bed, bed, kitchen, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, wireless internet, and a terrace with a sea view. The area of this studio is 29m2.
The upper building (closer to the street) has three studios on the floor:
Studio No.7 is strictly a double studio, meaning it has a standard wrought iron double bed (160x200cm), a kitchen, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, wireless internet, and a terrace overlooking the city. The area of this studio is 18m2.
Studio No.8 is a triple studio equipped with a standard wrought iron double bed (160x200cm) and a standard wrought iron single bed (90x200cm), a bathroom, air conditioning, kitchen, TV, wireless internet, and a terrace. This studio is approximately 25m2.
Studio No.9 is a triple studio for a family of three with a small child. It includes a standard wrought iron double bed and a children's standard wrought iron single bed (90x165cm), a kitchen, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, wireless internet, occupies the western (side) part of the house, and has a long terrace overlooking the city and the sea. The studio area is approximately 20m2.
Pets are allowed, and you can also reserve a baby cot with your accommodation.
Bed linen and towels are changed every three days in both properties, and rooms are completely cleaned and tidied at that time.
There are parking spaces for 6 cars within the yard, but additional parking is also provided nearby (50m) for all guests, in the churchyard.
When coming from the direction of Limenaria, pass the central intersection and continue 100 meters towards the exit from the city. On the right side of the road, just after the church (which will be on your left side), you will see the Amversa accommodation.
Amversa Villa Giorgos Corner is located in a peaceful place and at the same time a minute or two walk from all the amenities in the town (promenade, shops, souvenir shops, amusement park, taverns). It is an excellent choice for couples and families with children.

Guest reviews
I wholeheartedly recommend it.
High standards of hygiene, courtesy, and location.
Cons
No drawbacks.
Spacious, clean, and comfortable... everything is just as depicted in the photographs. We particularly liked that the accommodation has a window, unlike others, allowing for a draft and air circulation during the night. The accommodation was cleaned three times over ten days, which is more than sufficient. There is no street to cross to reach the beach, so the children can freely and independently go to and from the accommodation. The terrace offers a slight view of the sea. There is also an information area where someone is always available if you need assistance. For all our inquiries, we received excellent recommendations from the owner regarding beaches, markets, and restaurants... Located in a quiet part of Potos, ensuring no noise during the night. Parking is available in the church courtyard across from the accommodation, which seemed unusual to us, but everything is very close, so it was not a problem. Highly recommended...
Everything is excellent, the host is incredibly kind, and the location is perfect; I highly recommend it.
Outstanding location, availability of parking.
Cons
Amversa Villa is situated in an excellent location in Potos, just a few steps from the town beach and a five-minute walk from the center! In a tranquil area, free from noise and crowds! The apartments are clean, with linen and towel changes every three days!
Peace and proximity to the beach
Cons
Smaller kitchen
The accommodation is good, situated in an excellent location, tidy and clean, with linen changed every three days. All praises go to Jorgos, the host. The beach is just 30 meters away from the villa.
Parking and proximity to the beach
Cons
None
An excellent location, just 50 meters from the beach, with a bakery and a market nearby, a yard with natural shade, and private parking.
Proximity to everything you need
Cons
Overall, it is quite decent. The location may be the best in Potos. The hosts are friendly, especially Dimitrije (Dimitros).
Excellent location.
Cons
No significant drawbacks.
We were accommodated in a double studio, number 7, which was well-maintained and clean. The bedding and towels were changed on both occasions after four days. The view overlooks the main street, yet it is not overly noisy.
Great location, parking available in the courtyard, friendly hosts, and generally tidy and clean accommodation.
Cons
Weak and unstable internet signal. One pillow was as hard as a rock, while the other was normal.
We were accommodated in a double studio, room number 7, which was well-maintained and clean. The cleaning of the studio, along with the changing of linens and towels, was done on the fourth day both times. The view overlooks the main street, but it is not overly noisy.
Great location, parking available in the courtyard, friendly hosts, generally tidy accommodation.
Cons
Weak or unstable internet signal, one pillow was as hard as a rock, while the other was normal.
Everything is great, except for the bathroom, which is in poor condition. When the paint peels off, the walls are constantly flaking. The shower curtain is old, and the bottom part is moldy. The space between the bathtub and the wall is not cleaned. When the cleaner comes to tidy up the bathroom, she opens the door, and then the space against the wall gets filled, leaving it uncleaned. She should be told to close the door while cleaning the bathroom and always clean that area as well. On the beach, there has been a large pile of trash that has remained for 11 days. There are no trash cans on the beach, so everyone has been leaving their waste in front of the yard of the villa that is located in the front row by the beach.
The location is excellent, everything is clean and tidy, I would definitely return to the same place.
Exceptionally clean, the quality is perfectly aligned with the price, the owners are always present when something is needed, bed linens and towels are regularly changed every three days, even on the second-to-last night, which completely delighted us. The yard is spacious, and the children were thrilled. Overall, we have no negative comments. If we ever return to Thassos, we would certainly come back to this accommodation. Greetings to Jorgos and Nikana. Yassas
A clean, comfortable, and beautiful apartment located in a wonderful place, secluded from the center and the hustle and bustle, yet close to all amenities.
Proximity to the sea
Cons
None
All praises for this accommodation. To the owners, especially the lady who maintains cleanliness! We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend it. Greetings from a family with a baby and a Labrador.
Absolutely everything, especially the location!
Cons
No drawbacks.
The accommodation is excellent, clean, the host is friendly, and the location is outstanding, right in the center of Potos, just a minute from the beach. Everything was superb.
Just a minute from the beach.
Cons
No drawbacks.
We are extremely satisfied with Jorgos's villa; the room was exactly as depicted in the pictures, everything was impeccably clean, functional, and tidy. The kitchen was well-equipped, parking was organized, and a beautiful sandy beach was just 100 meters away from the villa. Jorgos was exceptionally kind and available every day of our vacation. We will definitely return.
Cleanliness, proximity to the beach, parking, air conditioning, communication with the owner, room amenities
Cons
Due to the location, it was noisy in the evenings.
Best wishes for the accommodation at Amversa villa. Everything was as you described on the website. The apartment, the building, and the courtyard were all clean. Towels and bed linens are changed every three days. We particularly appreciated the owners, who are very kind yet unobtrusive.
Proximity to the beach and the center of Potos.
Cons
Proximity to the main road causes noise during the day.
I highly recommend both Nikana and Amversa Villa (Giorgos corner). The description is accurate; the beach is literally a minute away from the accommodation (very convenient for a family vacation with children). There is parking in the villa's courtyard, shaded from the sun. The hosts are friendly and unobtrusive - always available for any assistance or information. The villa is located 300m from the main promenade, 50m from the market, the WIFI is very good, and the bedding is changed with a thorough cleaning every 3 days. We (mom, dad, and baby) had a wonderful time; everything is convenient and close by.
Great location in relation to the beach, market, and promenade. Parking available in the courtyard.
Cons
Well, there aren't any..
The accommodation was outstanding. The owner of the villa, Jorgos/Djordje, was exceptionally kind and pleasant. Everything we saw in the pictures was exactly as we found it. The rooms were clean, and the linens and towels were changed every three days. We spent twenty wonderful days there.
Proximity to the sea, the center, cleanliness, a friendly villa owner, etc.
Cons
I highly recommend this accommodation. Everything is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owner, Jorgos, is fantastic. The beach is just 20-30 meters away, and the center is 100 meters away. We are very satisfied.
Everything
Cons
None
A beautiful apartment, as well as the owners, truly deserves every recommendation.
Proximity to the sea, bed linens are changed every three days, mosquito nets, new air conditioning, security.
Cons
We visited in July 2021, and the location was excellent, just 30 meters from the sea. The apartment was cleaned regularly, with fresh linens and towels provided every three days. The owner was exceptionally pleasant. Highly recommended!
Great location, cleanliness...
Cons
All praise for Amvers Villa; the accommodation is excellent, the room is well-equipped, very clean, and the bedding is changed every three days. The beds are comfortable, and the terrace is superb with a large table and chairs. The location is outstanding, just about 30 meters from the beach. A special impression is made by the host, Jorgos, who is very cordial, always available, and at your service. All in all, an excellent establishment with professional staff.
We are extremely satisfied with the accommodation and the kindness of the owners. Throughout all these years of vacationing in Greece, we have never encountered such a high level of professionalism and attentiveness. When we return to Thassos, we would love to stay in this villa again.
Excellent location, cleanliness, kindness
Cons
We did not find them
The accommodation was neat and lovely; we stayed in apartment number 9. The owners were communicative and kind. A specific remark about the apartment is that the stove was not working, so we had to buy gas. Although it was available, nothing could be cooked, and the terrace was a bit strange—long and narrow. The bed linens are changed regularly every three days. Overall, Potos is overrated, and consequently, so are the accommodation prices, but that is just my opinion, and tastes vary. In any case, I don't believe I will see Tasos and Potos again, but I would love to meet such owners in another resort that I might enjoy.
Kind hosts, clean, tidy
Cons
Stove, strange terrace, and the place Potos
We stayed at Villa Amvarsa in early August 2019. All praises for the kind hosts who greet you with cold water and warm smiles. Parking is provided, the rooms are excellent, and the villa is situated in a superb location. Bed linen and towels are changed every third day, along with the cleaning of the studio... once again, exceptionally kind and cheerful hosts... highly recommended.
Truly, I wholeheartedly recommend it! In our opinion, it deserves a perfect ten. Exceptionally well thought out, everything is in its logical place, with an incredibly pleasant ambiance, an excellent host, and top-notch cleanliness. The bedding is of hotel quality, and the towels are new. The host is cheerful, accommodating, and unobtrusive, making you feel as if you’ve come to visit an old friend... An excellent location for anyone over 25, yet only 60 meters from the sea and about 200 meters from the pedestrian zone. The entrance for cars is quite acceptable. Either it has improved since 2018, or those who complained were poor drivers... Hats off, see you next year!
A house of exceptional location, accommodation with a beautiful view of the sea, located just about twenty meters from the beach. Parking is provided in the courtyard of the church, which is situated across from the house. Grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants are within a mere 2-5 minutes' walk. The hosts are exceptionally kind and pleasant, always ready to accommodate any request. Highly recommended.
Proximity to the beach just twenty meters away, terrace with a lovely sea view, exceptionally clean, bed linens are changed every three days, the hosts are very friendly, mosquito nets, and air conditioning are available.
Cons
The kitchen space is extremely small.
The villa is situated in an excellent location. The beach, or rather the water in Potos, is nothing extraordinary, but this villa serves as a great base for exploring the island. The owners are available for all your needs, and the accommodation is clean and well-maintained. Parking is available in the courtyard. What you see in the pictures and description is exactly what you will receive.
At the end of June, we stayed in a three-bed studio number 8. The accommodation is exactly as depicted in the photographs: clean and tidy, with new and comfortable mattresses for a restful sleep. The bed linens and towels are changed every three days. Given that it is a studio, it is quite spacious. If you choose to stay at the city beach, it is exceptionally close, sandy, and pristine. The hosts are friendly and available for any information, yet not intrusive, despite their constant presence. It was a delightful experience that I would recommend.
The accommodation is situated in an excellent and peaceful location, just a minute's walk from the beach and five minutes from the center of Potos. Parking is provided. The cleanliness is commendable. The owner, Jorgos, is friendly and always available for any questions and assistance. The kitchen is equipped with a sufficient number of quality utensils relative to the number of guests in the apartment. The apartment is cleaned regularly every three days. The Wi-Fi is excellent, with no complaints. This accommodation comes highly recommended.
peaceful location, close to the beach, near the center of Potos, parking available, excellent Wi-Fi, friendly owner
Cons
An excellent location, peaceful and just about 30 meters away from the beach. The owner, Jorgos, is very courteous and speaks both Serbian and English. The place is clean; I parked my car in the rented lot next to the house, rather than in the yard where it could be a bit inconvenient to enter and exit. Bed linens and towels are changed every three days, and the kitchen is the most well-equipped I have ever encountered. The WiFi signal in and in front of our ground-floor room is excellent. Potos is a small place, and everything is nearby: shops, taverns, etc. Regarding the accommodation, everything is great; my only slight subjective disappointment was with Thassos, but that is a personal matter.
The accommodation is excellent, and the owner is kind and unobtrusive.
Proximity to the beach, peaceful surroundings.
Cons
After rain, the color of the water in the bay where Potos is located turns brown.
We stayed in this villa from August 29 to September 9, 2016, in room 5, on the upper floor. The villa is situated very close to the exit of Potos when heading towards the eastern side of the island, making it excellently positioned for both staying in Potos (an excellent beach is just 30 meters from the villa) and exploring the island. We arrived by car, and encountered a slight issue with parking, as it is lower than the street and there is limited space for maneuvering. The owner, who speaks Serbian, assisted us with parking and was also open to conversation, offering advice on which beaches, restaurants, and sights to visit. The accommodation itself is very good; towels and bed linens are changed every three days, the air conditioning worked, although we did not use it, and the kitchen served us well without any issues. The mattresses and pillows were a bit firm, but that varies from person to person. The bathroom is good, and there was always hot water available.
Proximity to the beach and main road, helpful owner, quality accommodation
Cons
Limited parking
Exceptional accommodation. Impeccable hygiene. Friendly hosts.
Proximity to the beach.
Cons
Limited parking spaces.
The accommodation is excellent. The location is very good, with the beach just a few steps away. The hosts are exceptionally kind. The studio looks just like the picture, everything is fine :)
Proximity to the beach, markets, and restaurants :)
Cons
Perhaps there should be a bit more cookware in the kitchen, but that is not a significant issue. Everything in the kitchen was clean and well maintained :)
We were accommodated in a four-bed studio with a French bed and two extra beds for children, from August 29 to September 5, 2014. We had paid for ten days, but due to bad weather, we decided to forgo the last three nights. The landlord was exceptionally fair and refunded us a portion of the money for the unused days. RESPECT. We stayed in studio number 8, which had a terrace overlooking the sea, although partially obstructed by the row of buildings in front. The beach was just 30 meters away, and it took only 2 minutes to walk to the promenade and the nearest market. All in all, we were very satisfied!
Excellent location and cleanliness
Cons
Parking, parking, parking
I stayed with my husband and two children in a three-bed studio that is quite small. The terrace is not even a meter deep and is long, making it difficult for all of us to sit together. For the three of us, the terrace in our studio is very poor.
Proximity to the sea, cleanliness in the studio, mosquito nets
Cons
Very poor Wi-Fi
During the period from August 9 to August 19, 2013, my wife, daughter, and I were guests at this establishment. I have nothing but praise and recommendations. We stayed in studio number 4, on the first floor, which is spacious, beautifully furnished, and features a lovely large terrace. I would like to express my gratitude to the hosts Giorgos and Silvana, as well as the team at Nikana, and send my greetings to everyone. The library associated with the agency pleasantly surprised me and deserves high praise.
Excellent location, quality accommodation, parking.
Cons
The Wi-Fi signal could be improved.
My wife and daughter vacationed with me from August 4th to August 15th, 2013. The owner is an exceptionally accommodating and kind man who promptly responded to all our requests. He was also very open to giving advice and suggestions about interesting places to visit.
A beautiful new villa located along the road, just 50 meters from the beach, with secured parking, Wi-Fi, and air-conditioned apartments.
Cons
There are no green areas or spaces equipped for children's play with swings, slides, etc. Additionally, the TV in the room is unusable due to the choice of channels and picture quality.
We stayed from August 1st to August 12th, 2013. Two adults and a 6-year-old child. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodation and service. The owner is very kind and humorous. The maid comes every third day to change all the bedding and towels. The apartment has been recently renovated, the terrace is spacious, we had a view of the sea, and it is about 40 meters from the shore. A church is located across from the apartment. Wi-Fi is also available. The table on the terrace is small and impractical, so it could be replaced.
Proximity to the sea, cleanliness, kindness of the hosts, beautiful apartment
Cons
None, perhaps just the small parking
I stayed at Amversa Villa - Giorgos Corner from June 3 to June 23, 2013, with my husband and our two daughters aged 1 and 3.5 years. The accommodation was exceptionally good. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Mosquito nets were installed on the doors and windows, which is very significant. We were also provided with a baby crib. The rooms are cleaned every three days, during which we receive toilet paper, liquid hand soap, and even kitchen towels. The location is outstanding, just 20 meters from the beach, which is crucial when you have a baby or small children. Potos is a small place, so everything is within reach. The owner is exceptionally kind. He provided us with everything we needed, from extra clips and towels to pots. I could also use the washing machine and oven in the summer kitchen. On one gloomy afternoon, he even played the guitar and sang in the yard while the children played with his daughter. The girls really bonded. The Nikana agency is just a few minutes away from the villa. The staff is very friendly. They provided us with information about everything that might interest us or that we might need. Next year, we will definitely return to Thassos to see Jorgos. The children will have grown a bit, allowing us to explore the island more. There is so much to see. Highly recommend Nikana and Jorgos!
Everything
Cons
None
From June 15th to 25th, my husband and I vacationed with our two small children. The accommodation is in an excellent location, just about twenty meters from the beach, so you can always pop back to the room if you need something... a cookie for the kids, coffee for you ;) Additionally, there is a market and a promenade nearby. All in all, it's a fantastic place to stay, the hosts are wonderful people, and Tasos is a beautiful island. The internet signal is good (for those who find that important).
location, yard for children
Cons
none
In mid-June 2013, my wife and I, along with our two children aged three and a half and one, stayed at Giorgos's establishment. We carry wonderful impressions from this place. The kind host, along with his wife, brother, and daughter, made our stay unforgettable. The studio we occupied was excellently equipped, possessing everything necessary for a comfortable holiday. If anything was missing, Giorgos provided it immediately. All terraces have awnings that effectively shield from the sun, allowing us to sit outside even in strong sunlight. Everything was as described. The children played and socialized beautifully with other kids who were present at the time. The beach is literally 30 meters from the courtyard, making it easy to bring anything there or return to the room for something if needed. The children enjoyed the beach. It was convenient for them as well, because we could take them to the room for a nap and then return them to the sunshade in the afternoon. The accommodation, beach, sea, and hosts were all perfect, and I recommend Amversas House to everyone, especially families with children. During this period, the establishment was exceptionally lively due to the many children (there were at least seven families from Serbia with small kids).
Proximity to the beach, central street, and markets. Comfortable and quality accommodation in a pleasant environment enriched by the spontaneity and openness of host Giorgos.
Cons
I found none.
In the first half of September 2012, my wife and I spent a delightful 12 days in Amveras, or in Potos. Our hosts, Jorgos and his wife Silvana, with their unobtrusive kindness and attentiveness, contributed to making us feel at home during our stay - "just like at home". One of the compliments belongs to Nikani and her charming collaborators from the agency (which is just a few steps away from the villa)! Thank you!
The house is new, well-maintained, clean, and close to the center - quiet and peaceful.
Cons
The house is located just about 50 meters from the beach, but unfortunately, although sandy, it is not very competitive with other beaches nearby Potos. In other words, a car is highly desirable.
At the end of August and the beginning of September 2011, I stayed at Amversi (Giorgos Corner), and during the same period in 2012, I was at Nikos Corner. I wouldn't draw a distinction between the two. In both cases, the environment was pleasant and clean, and the hosts were exceptionally kind. Jorgos is no longer available, but he maintains the same approach towards all guests. I have never met a more courteous host. They change the bedding every three days and adhere to that schedule. Everything you agree upon is what you receive. When we return to Thassos, it will surely be one of our first choices.
Proximity to the center and the beach
Cons
Weak wireless internet signal. To get a good signal, you need to go down to the yard.
I spent my vacation with my girlfriend. Our primary interests were the sea, the beach, the sun, and the accommodation. The sea was warm, and the weather treated us well. The hygiene in the accommodation and the kindness of the hosts were of a high standard. I must also mention the ladies from the Nikana agency, who were always willing to answer our questions and provide assistance.
Proximity to the sea, mosquito nets on windows and doors.
Cons
None.
During the period from August 1 to 10, 2012, I stayed at this accommodation with my wife and our four-year-old child. The accommodation is excellent, boasting a fantastic location just two minutes on foot from anything you can imagine in Potos, and only 30 meters from the peaceful part of the city beach. Unlike other places we have visited in Greece, the hygiene here was of a high standard. Bed linens and towels are changed every three days, along with a complete cleaning of the apartment, and, what is not typical for accommodations in Greece, you receive liquid soap and toilet paper. The owner, Giorgos, is very pleasant and has an exceptionally cheerful and kind spirit. He truly deserves all the praise. I must admit that this Ana's website was pivotal in our decision to go to Thasos, and we fell in love with that small and beautiful island even through the site itself.
Hygiene, positive atmosphere, location, parking, internet...
Cons
...
I visited Amversa with my sister and a friend from July 24 to August 5, 2012. We were given a four-bed studio, although we had paid for a three-bed one. The villa is new and beautiful, located in an excellent spot (30 meters from the sea, 20 meters from the main road). The studio was also lovely, spacious, and clean; everything appeared new. The balcony is adequately spacious for four people, equipped with a clothes dryer and clips. The television is small, but we didn’t need it. During our 11-day stay, our room was cleaned twice and the towels were changed. We only cooked coffee, but there was enough cookware for four people. We had hot water available at all times, and the use of air conditioning was included in the accommodation price. The internet worked only sporadically. Due to my sister's phobia of cats, we asked the owner to move us from the ground floor to the first floor, which he facilitated after a few days (and following Nikana's intervention). Despite the central location and proximity to the church (I mean the morning bells), it was very quiet, ideal for relaxation. The villa has parking, but if all spots are filled, it is not difficult to find parking on the street nearby Amversa. Overall, Amversa is an excellent choice for those who decide to spend their annual vacation in Potos.
Location, new accommodation, air conditioning and internet, proximity to the beach, bakery, supermarket, bus station, Nikana's agency, etc.
Cons
Aside from the internet issues (after moving from the ground floor to the first floor, we could hardly use it anymore), everything else was good, just as it was presented on this site.
During my stay in Amvers with my wife, I can say that we were thrilled with the accommodation. The room we stayed in had a stunning view of the sea, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Sleeping at night was pleasant, surrounded by greenery, while the city center experienced intense heat, with people complaining about the lack of bathing water. The host of this property is Jorgos, who is very kind. If you need anything, feel free to ask him for advice, and he will explain everything in detail. If I choose to return to Thassos, I will certainly book this villa again.
Proximity to the sea, about 30 meters, as well as a bakery and supermarket just 100 meters away.
Cons
The downside is the significant noise from the main street next to the property and parking, but you can manage somehow. I would also mention that there is a church nearby, so if it is a holiday or Sunday, it is better to avoid being there in the morning as the ringing is unbearable, and they play prayers.
We stayed in a studio with our two-year-old child from July 8th to July 18th, 2012. It was of utmost importance for us to have a doctor and a pharmacy nearby, as well as to be close to the beach, to have wireless internet, air conditioning, and cleanliness. All of these requirements were met. We will definitely return to Thassos, as the island is enchanting, filled with greenery and untouched nature, and the spring water is beautiful (if only we had a cistern). We drank tap water, which is excellent, unlike at home, for instance. We are most grateful to the owner Giorgos for his kindness, generosity, and selfless assistance. Thank you once again :)
close to the beach, bed linens and towels are changed every three days, doctor, pharmacy
Cons
improve internet signal
Family vacation, we returned three days ago. We had a wonderful time, the villa was right in the center, and the proximity to the beach is unnecessary to mention!
Proximity to the center as well as the beach...
Cons
They are not available...
From July 14 to July 24, 2012, we were extremely satisfied with the accommodation and service.
Excellent location.
Cons
None.
We were accommodated in Amversi with two adult children from June 30 to July 10. The accommodation was excellent, with bed linens and towels changed every three days. It was clean and close to the beach. We also had air conditioning included in the price. This is a very good accommodation that I would recommend to my friends.
Proximity to the beach
Cons
Very noisy extractor fan in the bathroom, small parking
My husband, our two-year-old son, and I stayed in a villa in mid-June. We were extremely pleased with the accommodation. The furniture in the studio is new (or at least it looks that way), and the space is tastefully decorated; the hosts were kind and accommodating; linens and towels are changed every three days, and the studio is cleaned (I must particularly highlight that you receive toilet paper and liquid soap every time, which I rarely encounter). We had the option to prepare our meals in a separate room (complete with an oven) and enjoy the pleasant courtyard. Additionally, there is only a short path leading to the beach, making it easy to retrieve anything we needed. All in all, we have nothing but praise for Silvana and Giorgos :)
Impeccable cleanliness, proximity to the sea, friendly and accommodating hosts, and the beautiful appearance of the apartment and courtyard.
Cons
Not a drawback, but it would have been nice to have a small pool... :)
Yesterday, my wife and I returned from Thassos, filled with positive thoughts. For the past two days, we have been discussing Thassos, Potos, and the Amversi villa, and we could continue for quite a while since the island is truly magnificent! Regarding the villa itself, we have nothing but praise. The hosts are more than kind; Jorgos is a magnificent host, a very positive and cheerful man. His wife, who is also our compatriot, is a wonderful woman with great taste and style, which is evident in the villa's interior. I was particularly impressed by little Mina, their daughter, such a small yet incredibly charming being who captivates you with her loveliness at first sight. The location is more than excellent, or rather perfect; the villa is practically on the beach, and everything else is just a minute away. The cleanliness is at an admirable level; they cleaned our room every three days and changed the bed linen as well. In my opinion, the accommodation is worth every penny we spent and even more. I highly recommend it!
Beautiful interior, kind hosts, very clean, peaceful, has parking, and much more...

Our stay in early June 2011, my wife and I. The accommodation was exceptional: tidy, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were extremely kind, always present to assist with advice or specific procurement. We borrowed quite a bit from them. Giorgos "somewhat" knows Serbian because Silvana is "one of us", but "you shouldn't trust him", he knows more than he appears to. The accommodation is peaceful, as peaceful as it can be with many guests with small children. The beach is far enough away that you won't stumble into the sea when leaving your room. Everything is within a short distance (bakery, supermarket, "town", streets, promenades ...) just a 5-minute walk or about 30 minutes by car (while parking and finding a spot ...). Cars are only useful for traveling, going to another beach, and returning home. If you arrive by bus, you certainly won't walk from the station to the accommodation for more than 10 minutes. If you walk longer than that, turn back because you've strayed from the main area. Nearby, you definitely need to go to Theologos for lamb, but avoid Augustos at all costs. The fish restaurant Armeno in Skala Marion.
A tranquil place and serene accommodation. Close to the sea and everything necessary. The accommodation is clean and spacious enough. There is parking available, which is extremely important during the season.
Cons
Due to personal obligations, we couldn't stay as long as we would have liked. Unfortunately, mosquitoes are the most bloodthirsty creatures there and they are in unlimited quantities. Pack spray and tablets before your swimsuit and underwear. There is a church nearby, and the priests like to try to...
This year, at the end of August and the beginning of September, my husband and I spent ten days in this villa with our nine-month-old daughter. The villa is located right at the entrance to Potos, on the main street that leads further to Limenarija, parallel to the promenade. The beach is very close, and some rooms even offer a view of the sea. However, in that part of the beach, you cannot find a shower, which is located a bit further down the beach. (It’s good to know, especially if you are traveling with children.) The hosts are exceptionally kind, the bedding is changed every five days, and the apartment is cleaned every two to three days. Everything is nearby; supermarkets, bus stops, and the promenade. There are many nice restaurants and cafes, especially along the coast. The beach is clean and sandy, or rather, made up of very fine pebbles. This is our second time vacationing in Thassos. I would vacation there again for the wonderful beaches, kind people, and clear waters. Oh, and for the delicious lamb!
We visited in August as a family (my wife and our 10-year-old son). Regarding the accommodation, I can say it was satisfactory, as was the kindness of the owner. Our only complaints were about the lack of secured parking, even though it was advertised, so we had to park wherever we could. Additionally, the apartment assigned to us was small and lacked windows. The beach is very close and excellent, although we went to a different one every day, of which there are plenty. As for restaurants, they are all nearby, as are markets and bakeries. This year, prices were significantly higher compared to the previous year (2010). Once again, I recommend Potos. Greetings from Djukić in Belgrade.
Proximity to the city center and the municipal beach for those traveling by bus.
Cons
Small apartment and unsecured parking.
Since we were with two children and another family, all during the end of July and the beginning of August when the crowds are at their peak, I can say that the accommodation was wonderful and suitable. The hosts were very kind, perhaps their daughter-in-law from Serbia taught them kindness, but they were truly fantastic. It is close to the promenade, near the center, yet not in the hustle and bustle.
Perfect for families, as it is located in a quiet area, yet close to the center and the beach.
Cons
My husband, our two children, and I were accommodated in the Amversa villa. The villa is situated about twenty meters from a beautiful beach. The surroundings are peaceful, devoid of noise, and everything is truly wonderful! The owner is phenomenal, very kind, just like his entire family. Shops, bakeries, restaurants, and doctors... everything is just a 2-3 minute walk from the villa. Regarding the accommodation itself, our four-person studio was very spacious and clean, with bed linens changed every three days. Highly recommended accommodation!!!
The advantages of this accommodation include its proximity to the beach, shops, restaurants, pharmacies, and doctors...
Cons
An exceptional accommodation, located just about thirty meters from the beach. Spacious rooms with balconies and all the necessary amenities. In Potos, everything is within reach, as it is a small town, yet sufficiently large to offer everything one might need. Silvana and Giorgos are always ready to assist. There is no need to venture beyond a 10 km radius; within that distance, you can find beaches, as well as larger towns (Limenaria) and Teologos, restaurants, and shops. Everything is conveniently accessible without much travel. Giorgos provides all the necessary information.
Proximity to the sea, cleanliness, affordability, parking
Cons
The kitchen, at least in our room, was slightly smaller than required. There is a church nearby, so when the bells start ringing around 7-8 in the morning, there are few worshippers who won't curse.
