Accommodation description

Accommodation is located in the center of Skala Potamia, only 150m away from the beautiful sandy beach with long shallow. This is one of the most popular accommodations in Thassos, because the owner has made big effort to provide her guests with everything they need for a comfortable stay.

Barbara Studios consists of eight double studios with possibility to add an extra bed for child and two apartments. There are two apartments and two studios on the ground floor, and six studios (four with a partial sea view) on the first floor.

Four-bed apartment has a double bed in the bedroom, and a folding sofa bed for two in a living room, while five-bed apartment is equipped with a double bed, a folding sofa bed and a single bed. Double studios have a double bed.

Studios and apartments have air condition, TV, safe box, equipped kitchen and WiFi connection. Hair dryer is on every floor and it can be used by all guests. Some of the accommodation units have a shower cabin (the 5 Bed Apartment and two double studios) while the others have shower tub and a curtain.

We would like to note that the kitchens are intended for preparing light meals; the preparation of heavy meals is not permitted inside the accommodation units.

Cleaning as well as replacement of bed linen and towels is done every three days. If necessary, guests can take clean towels and bed linen for replacement from cabinets located on each floor.

In addition, quests can use a big outdoor kitchen with a stove, as well as built-in BBQ. In the yard you can enjoy in the shade or relax on a swing.

Private parking is provided.

When you turn from the central crossroad to the sea, on your left, you’ll see Barbara Studios just across SPAR market.

Since the accommodation is located in the center, the first supermarket and bakery are within 2-3 minutes walk.

If you want a quiet family holiday in decent accommodation, right in the center of town and close to all the amenities that Skala Potamia has to offer, Barbara Studios can be a good choice.

The room I stayed in was really small, but besides the hotplate in the room, there is a large kitchen in the courtyard with all the necessary appliances. A nice space in the courtyard and a friendly landlady.

Booking and cancellation terms

Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.

Discounts

For reservations for period from 01.09.2026 to 30.09.2026, for 7 or more paid nights guest will have 1 nights for free.
For reservations in 4 Bed Apartment, for period from 01.08.2026 to 12.08.2026, for stays of 10 nights and more, discount of 50 euros in total is allowed.
