Skala Potamia has the most beautiful city beach.

The beach has very fine sand. It is known for having a very long shoal. If you have children or baby this beach is ideal for you. The bottom is safe because there are no rocks or sea urchins. The water is usually very clear. Because of its wide and fine sand this beach is great for volleyball, tennis, etc. and on the beach there is a small park for children with slides and swings. Along the beach you can find water park and a place where you can rent paddle boats, kayaks, sub boards, so you can have fun.

The beach has a shower and dressing cabins. The beach occasionally has waves that are not big, but they are harmless since they are in the shallows, and the wind often blows.

Right next to the beach there are a couple of tavernas and bars.

City beach in Skala Potamia is the part of famous and beautiful gulf Golden beach. That part of the beach is narrow at its beginning and has rocks in the water, but as you continue to Gold Beach the beach is more beautiful, wider and with sandy entrance, shallow and warm water.
