Although the streets of Greece are filled with the smell of gyros and souvlaki, Greek cuisine is rich in meatless dishes, so vegetarians and those who do not prioritize meat in their enjoyment of a good meal can also indulge in them.

We often receive questions from our guests and followers about which meatless dishes they can order in Greece so that they are not “condemned to side dishes” (in the words of one of our guests).

We will provide a list of all well-known vegetable dishes with a short explanation, and the list also includes dishes suitable for vegans (vegetables only) as well as dishes made with cheese and/or fish).
