This small tavern in the city center offers a wide selection of local specialties roasted on charcoal. Of course, first of all we recommend gyros, and then kontosuvli (pork on a spit), chicken, giblets. Given that there are really rare fast food restaurants with homemade gyros, I recommend that you should visit this place if you’re in Thessaloniki. The advantage of this tavern is the fact that you can sit at the table even if you order gyros in a tortilla, and not serving. In tortilla you can get all the other dishes on the spit.

Taverna is located very close to Egnatia Street (look at the map), in a small square near the fountain. In a quiet and pleasant atmosphere you can enjoy a homemade gyros and other specialties that this tavern offers (lamb, traditional Greek dishes, great salads). If you want to try more dishes you can order half portions, with the obligatory Greek salad and tortillas instead of bread.
