Accommodation description
Andreas Seaview House is located in the quiet town of Sozopol, Halkidiki, in the first row to the sandy beach (200m). The entire house is for rent and can host up to 12 people.
It is about 100-150m away from the bakery, restaurant and market.
On the first level (ground floor) there is a living room with a dining room and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed. The second bedroom has two single beds.
On the first floor there is a large living room with a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with king size beds and a bathroom with a toilet.
The accommodation is air-conditioned (ac unit at each room). Free WiFi internet, flat screen TV with satellite channels, mosquito nets, hair dryer and washing machine are available to guests. The accommodation has a kitchen on both floors. The kitchens are fully equipped, both have four hotplates, large ovens, a large fridge with freezer, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. Another refrigerator is located in the yard.
The bathroom on the ground floor has a shower cabin, and the bathroom on the first floor has a shower with a curtain.
Guests can spend warm summer days, overlooking the sea, on a fenced veranda or balcony, equipped with seating.
In the fenced yard, guests can enjoy preparing a barbecue with family and friends.
Pets are allowed in this accommodation, with prior request and agreement.
Cleaning and changing of bed linen is done every 3 days.
Guests can park on the street and there is usually plenty of space.

We booked the entire villa for three families — 6 adults, 3 children and a baby — specifically looking for a comfortable house with a garden and easy beach access. Unfortunately, the reality was significantly different from both the impression created by the photos and several specific statements in the property description. Although it is the same villa shown in the photos, in person it feels considerably older and more worn, particularly the lower-ground floor. More importantly, the listing states that there is an “AC unit at each room”, which was not the case during our stay. On each floor, only one bedroom and the living room had air conditioning. With temperatures above 40°C, the bedrooms without AC became extremely hot, especially upstairs, making sleeping very uncomfortable. The lower floor had a strong damp/mouldy smell and occasionally a very unpleasant odour around the kitchen. The bathroom had poor ventilation, damaged tiles, rusty fixtures and an overall worn condition. Some walls were peeling or deteriorated, and properly airing the rooms was difficult. There were also significant differences regarding the advertised amenities and service. The description states that cleaning and bed linen are changed every three days. During our seven-night stay, this was not done even once. No spare bed linen or towels were provided either. This became particularly problematic when several members of our group became ill and we needed to wash sheets and towels ourselves. The kitchens are described as “fully equipped”, but for a villa accommodating a group of this size, there were not enough basic items such as glasses, plates and cookware on both floors, so we repeatedly had to carry things upstairs and downstairs. Another serious issue concerned the washing machine. When the upstairs washing machine was running, its dirty drain water leaked directly into the yard — the same fenced outdoor area advertised as a place where guests can relax, children can play and families can sit and enjoy a barbecue. We found this extremely unpleasant and unhygienic. The garden also had many cobwebs and several cats around the property, which was inconvenient for us with small children and cat allergies. The beach directly in front of the villa was also disappointing for a family with young children. It is unorganised, with no sunbeds or umbrellas, and further into the water there are rocks and sea urchins. Cars and pickup trucks were also regularly parked right next to the water. A much nicer organised beach is approximately 15–20 minutes away on foot or a few minutes by car. With a baby, small children and temperatures above 40°C, we therefore ended up driving back and forth every day. Overall, our main disappointment is not simply that we did not like the property, but that several important aspects did not correspond with the information provided in the listing. Had we known the actual air-conditioning arrangement, that linen would not be changed, the condition of the property and the practical reality of the nearby beach, we would most likely have chosen different accommodation. Instead of returning home rested, we left feeling exhausted. Based on our experience, I would not book this villa again and cannot recommend it, particularly for families with small children.
