Description

If you're looking for a guaranteed peace during holiday, friendly owners and top-level hygiene, Meltemi House is the right choice for you. Built in the vicinity of a beautiful beach in Kalamitsi, this accommodation is a great choice for families with children because everything is at your fingertips, and the friendly owners will make your stay even more pleasant.

The accommodation is located in a street without traffic, so you will find yourself in an oasis of peace. The nearest beach, market, taverns and cafes are at only 160m.

Within Meltemi House is another accommodation also, Aggeliki House. It is one facility but two owners who shared accommodation units.

Of six quadruple studios (24m2 + 7m2 balcony), one is located on the ground floor and it has one double bed and bunk beds. Three are located on the first floor (one with bunk beds and two with two single beds), while two are on the second floor, one with bunk beds and the other with two single beds. Five triple studios (21m2 + 7m2 balcony) have one double bed and one single bed. One is on the ground floor, two on the first and two on the second. One double studio (18m2 + 5m2 balcony) is located on the ground floor and it has one double bed.

The studios are air-conditioned, they have a TV, WiFi internet, fully equipped kitchen with hotplates and a small fridge, mosquito nets on the balcony door, hairdryer and a terrace with table, chairs and a frontyard view and street view. The bathroom has an enclosed showering area without curtain. Replacement of bed linen and towels, as well as cleaning, are performed after three days.

The courtyard with a beautiful lawn is located behind the house, as well as a gazebo with benches and tables. In the front, there are two outdoor showers, while a private parking with enough space is on a rented space next to the accommodation.

Follow the main street next to the beach towards the tavern Dimitris, turn left before the tavern to the half asphalted alley and 120m later you will see Meltemi House on the left.

If you are looking for accommodation with good price and quality ration, on a great location, close to one of the most beautiful beaches on Sithonia, but in a quiet environment, Meltemi House is the right choice for your holiday.

The accommodation is situated in a prime location, is very clean, and the staff is exceptionally courteous. However, there is one reason why I would not stay here again: the stove with burners that have intentionally reduced heating power. I do not know the exact reason for this, but it is unacceptable. It is literally impossible to brew coffee. If it were just that stove that was malfunctioning, it wouldn’t be a problem; it happens. However, the same issue exists in all the apartments, so this is not a case of a defect. It would be like renting a room with a shower, but the shower is set to only drip, so I don’t waste water. I cannot help but feel a bit cheated, which tarnishes an otherwise very pleasant impression of the accommodation.

The studio is satisfactory. It offers ample space, and the location is excellent. The staff is friendly. However, the kitchen is very poorly equipped; the stove heats very weakly, requiring it to be turned on 30 minutes in advance to brew coffee, and then an additional 15 minutes waiting for it to boil. Brewing coffee is not possible at all. The refrigerator operates at reduced capacity when the room is vacated, meaning it cannot cool beverages or preserve food if you are absent for the entire day.

After thirty years of vacationing in Greece, I can confidently say that the studio at Meltemi house was the best and quite well-equipped. The proximity to the beach and the parking provided for the guests of this accommodation are a huge advantage. If you need anything (like a pot or an extra plate, chair...), and it’s not in the apartment, just reach out to the owner of the accommodation and she will provide it for you. In any case, I had a very pleasant time in Kalamitsi and at Meltemi house.

A beautiful place, an outstanding accommodation, a beach straight out of a dream. This location left us with a fantastic impression. It is a small, peaceful family getaway, far removed from the noise brought by larger towns.

This place is definitely not suitable for couples without children. The studios are small and lack privacy, especially those on the ground floor. It is primarily intended for families with young children; those seeking peace, quiet, and privacy will not find it in this house. Had I been better informed, I would never have chosen this house for my vacation.

The accommodation is situated in an excellent location, clean and tidy. The only aspect we found displeasing was the absence of a curtain in the shower cabin. Additionally, the truck/tanker that empties the sewage arrives every morning around 8 a.m.

An excellent location, very clean and beautifully arranged accommodation, friendly and unobtrusive owners, a lovely courtyard, suitable for children. They accommodated us and refunded the money for two nights, which we shortened our vacation due to bad weather.

The apartment was cleaned several times during our stay, the owner was unobtrusive, the courtyard is beautiful, close to the beach, and the rooms are nicely decorated.
Cons
The studios on the ground floor are right next to the street, so the terrace lacks intimacy and is poorly protected from the morning sun, and it can be noisy in the morning when the city cleaning vehicles pass by.

An exceptionally good, tidy, and clean accommodation at House Meltemi. The landlady is extremely kind and ready to assist with anything you may need. The bed linens are changed twice during the stay (we were there for ten days), and the space is cleaned almost daily. The courtyard is beautifully maintained. The Wi-Fi is somewhat weaker, but overall, our general impression is that everything was excellent... We are extremely satisfied.

The accommodation is located close to the beach and features a spacious private parking lot, although it lacks a canopy; there is a bit of shade provided by the surrounding trees. The kitchen is small but well-equipped, the rooms are regularly cleaned, and the linens are changed every three days or sooner if necessary. The owner is very courteous. Every morning, a van passes by with fresh fruit.

Since the accommodation is ideal for families with children, it can be quite noisy in the afternoon and late into the night; I wouldn't recommend it to someone seeking a peaceful getaway. The entrance door leaks, and the apartment can become flooded if it rains. The WiFi signal is quite weak.

Everything that was agreed upon has been respected. I must emphasize the high level of hygiene, as towels and bed linens are changed every three days. Additionally, the studio/apartment is thoroughly cleaned.

An excellent location, less than 100 meters from the beach. The yard is exceptionally tidy, featuring benches and everything needed for preparing a barbecue, making it ideal for larger gatherings. There is private parking, Wi-Fi, and towels and bed linen are changed regularly. The landlady is friendly and always at your service. In the evenings, it is peaceful and quiet, and a van stops in front of the apartment every day with fresh fruits and vegetables. This place is perfect for a vacation; it may be small, but it has everything you need, and Sarti is not far away. The studio for two is fantastic, equipped with everything necessary, with hot water available day and night, and the outdoor shower is also very functional. I give my highest praise and recommendation for this accommodation.

We have vacationed three times in Kalamitsi, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a true getaway. The location and accommodation are ideal for families with children. The beautiful sandy beach is very close, ensuring a delightful experience. :) For those wishing for a change, there are plenty of lovely beaches and stunning spots on Sithonia nearby. ;)

The three-person and four-person apartments are rather small; the four-person one is the same size as the three-person, only with an added bed. The terraces are pleasant, but they are unusable during the day since they face the sun, making it almost impossible to sit on them due to the heat in the first half of July. The courtyard is much more beautiful than it appears in the picture; it is shaded, and that is the most valuable aspect of this accommodation. It is excellent for both children and adults. The apartments are cleaned every 3-4 days, and the hostess is nice. The accommodation has its own parking. It is located a 3-4 minute walk from the beach. Taking everything into account, if you don't mind the small size of the apartments, the overall impression is positive.

Postovani da li u apartmanima Maltemi imate smestaj od 16.07. do 26.07. za 2 porodice? Trosoban smestaj (2 odrasle osobe + dete 1 god) i cetvorosoban (2 odrasle osobe + dete 8 god i dete 1 god). Ne bismo krevete na sprat i znacilo bi nam prizemlje zbog kolica za decu. Ako nema Maltemi, moze i Aggeliki
