Our description

Dimitra House is located on a beautiful, sandy Pigadaki beach, near to Sykia. As part of the accommodation there is a tavern on the beach which has its own sunbeds and umbrellas. Kind and attentive owners are always there for guests.

The house is separated from the beach only by the street and in bays on the right and on the left there are other famous beaches worth a visit. The beach on which is located the house is clean, with turquoise blue sea. Every day a mini van with fresh fuits and vegetables passes by the street in front of the house. The closest market is on the main road, around 2,5km far from the accommodation and little bit before it there is a bakery, around 1.5km far.

It is consisted of three separated buildings in which are located six studios in total, four new and two older ones.

In the first row next to the sea, there is a ground floor building with two completely new studios. In studio no. 2 the entrance is from the latheral side and in the studio no. 1 the entrance is straight. One (no. 2) has a double bed and a queen size bed (for two smaller children), while the other one (no. 1) has two queen size beds. The both can accommodate up to four persons. The kitchens are little bit separated from the rooms, but there are no doors in-between. They are standardly equipped, with all necessary dishes, hotplates and small fridge. In studio no. 1 there is a shower tray, while in the studio no. 2 there are just tiles. The both bathrooms are separated by folding doors. The studios are completely new, have and air-conditioner, as well as two sitting sets right in front of studios, but also two wonderful, covered balconies with fantastic sea view. These studios have on their disposal the barbecues located in the small yard right in front of them. Televisions are removed this year because of bad signal.

On the small hill behind there is one smaller, older building, which has two studios in total. The both are older, not renovated. On the front side, on the first floor there is a studio no. 5. In the room separated from the kitchen (not by doors) there is a queen size bed and one single bed, while in the room with kitchen there is another queen size bed. The kitchen is standardly equipped, like in the previous studios. The bathroom is pretty much small, it has a shower and tiles (no shower tray). The balcony has partial sea view.

On the back side of the building there is another older studio (no. 6) which has two queen size beds and spacious balcony. The kitchen is also little bit separated, but not by doors and equipped as in the other studios. In the bathroom there is a shower tray. In front of the studio there is a balcony with garden view, as well as a table with chairs.

In the third building, above the older one, there are two completely new studios. The entrance is behind the accommodation, from the ground floor, but the studios are on the first floor. One of the studios is double (no. 3), it has a double bed and it is possible to add a baby cot. The other one (no. 4) is quadruple and has two double beds. The kitchen are standardly equipped like in the other studios. In both bathrooms there are just tiles with curtain, they are separated by folding doors from the rest of the room. Considering that they are on the small hill, the balconies have fantastic sea view. Balconies are spacious and have table and chairs. Both studios are neat, clean and completely new, with balconies made for those who know how to enjoy in the view.

There are two more new units - apartments number 7 and 8, which are located on the first floor.
Apartment no. 7 has a double bed in the bedroom, while in the living room there is a corner settee for a maximum of three people. It is also possible to import one ranch bed. A maximum of six people can stay in it.
Apartment no. 8 in the bedroom also has a double bed, and in the living room there is a sofa bed for two people.
In the kitchens, they have one standard refrigerator, as well as one hotplate, while the bathroom has a shower and bathtub in apartment no. 7, and a tiled shower in number 8.

Bed linen and towels are replaced every five days.

The backyard is better arranged than the rest of the courtyard, so it has table and chairs, barbecue and few toys for children. The same family owns the tavern Zampakos on the beach whose sunbeds and umbrellas can be used with purchased drink. The public parking is in front of accommodation, next to the tavern, but there is a parking place behind the older building.

Pigadaki beach is easy to find. After you turn from the main road to the Sykia beach, continue straight until the crossroad. The road on the left leads to Sykia beach, while the one on the right up to hill leads to the beach Pigadaki. You will pass the first bay and the second one is the beach Pigadaki. On the beach you will sea the restaurant Zampakos which is part of the accommodation Dimitra.

If you want an accommodation with an excellent view, on the beautiful, sandy beach, which one is not crowded usually, even in high season, on the beach with fine sand and nice and clean sea, Dimitra House can be a good choice.
