In the heart of Sykia, there is a house called Draganis which has kept the traditional spirit of this village. It represents an ideal place to those who want privacy and peace, and to those who are not looking for accommodation near to the beach. The center of the village is nearby with all its amenities.
The nearest beach is Sykia beach, at about 4,4km from the accommodation, so this accommodation is recommended only for those who come with their own vehicle. The market is located 100m from the accommodation, and the center of the village with taverns, fast food, post office, and pharmacy is 150m away.
House is consisted of a duplex apartment on the first floor and an apartment on the ground floor.
The maximum capacity of duplex apartment is five persons. It consists of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and two balconies. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other one has two double beds that are narrower than standard ones and it is transient. The living room is separated from the kitchen, but not by the door. It is equipped with a triple sofa, double sofa, armchair, and it has a fireplace. The kitchen is spacious, fully equipped and has a table and chairs. In addition to the basic dishes, there are also stove, toaster, cooker, microwave and large fridge. In the bathroom, there is a curtain. Both balconies are spacious, they have a sitting set and a view towards the mountains and the village.
Apartment on the ground floor was completely renovated in 2018. It is consisted of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with living room and balcony. In the bedroom is a double bed, while in the living room are three single beds. Kitchen is a little bit separated from the living room, but not by the door. It is completely equipped, so it has stove, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, microwave and big fridge with freezer department. In the bathroom is a built-in shower cabin. On the balcony there is a sitting set and it overlooks the street.
Both apartments have TV, internet and air conditioning (in the duplex one there are two of them). The apartments do not have mosquito nets, except on the door of the apartment on the ground floor. Bed linen and towels are replaced after three days.
The courtyard is fenced, but little. Guests have access to barbecue and toys for children. Since the courtyard is small, it is best to park vehicles near the accommodation.
The house is easy to find. When you enter the village of Sykia, after you pass the supermarket on the left, you should turn to the first street on the right. You should continue straight and after about 250m you will see the house on the right.
If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place, and the vicinity of the beach is not a priority for you, then this house is the right choice. It will bring you back to the past because it has kept all its traditional elements.
