Melissi Traditional House in Sykia is an excellent choice if you are looking for modest and spacious accommodation close to the center. It is an ideal choice for everyone who likes peace and privacy.
The nearest Sykia beach is about 4 km away, so we recommend this accommodation only to those who come with their own vehicle. The supermarket is about 700m from the accommodation, while other contents are about 850m away.
It is a house (90m2) which is has two bedrooms.One room has a double bed, while the other one has two single beds. Also, in the living room there is a sofa on which one person can sleep. The accommodation is air-conditioned and has TV, internet, mosquito nets, kitchen and bathroom.
The kitchen is spacious and has a stove with an oven, a large refrigerator with a freezer, a kettle, a coffee maker and all the necessary dishes. The bathroom has a bathtub with a curtain and a hairdryer. The house is surrounded by a small fenced yard, and it also has a veranda with a table and chairs in front of the entrance.
Changing of towels and bed linen, as well as cleaning, are done every four days, and the stay of pets is allowed. Baby cots are also available to guests upon prior request.
The yard is small, concreted and fenced, but there is no private parking, guests can park on the street in front of and near the house, where there is usually always space, but it is important to note that the streets in the village are quite narrow, which can be a challenge for drivers who they are not used to such conditions.
After entering the village of Sykia and passing the supermarket, you should take the first street on the right, then the first street on the right again, then the third on the left and the second on the left again and you will see Melissa Traditional House.

Everything is fine. The only complaint I have is that hygiene maintenance and cleaning were not carried out on the second day. Privacy and comfort are certainly ensured.
