Accommodation and location: 10/10! The host: 10/10! We’ll come again!

After several years of vacationing in Greece, we finally encountered individuals who are highly recommendable and open to collaboration on all matters. We are extremely satisfied with both the accommodation and cleanliness, as well as the hosts' hospitality. We will most likely vacation again next year at Marios'.

A significant advantage is that the apartment is located right by the beach, and the price includes sun loungers and an umbrella. The studio is satisfactory, although the terrace in unit 3 is smaller compared to units 1, 2, and 4. We enjoyed everything during our 14-day stay. Nearby, there are taverns, markets, and bakeries, all within easy reach. The double bed is a bit uncomfortable, but it's nothing serious. The kitchen is well-equipped, though it lacked some utensils. It gets quite warm in the upstairs studios, so the air conditioning needs to run during the day. From what I understood from the owner, June of next year is already fully booked.

We spent our holiday in this accommodation, which is exceptional. The terrace offers a beautiful view, and the hosts are very kind and welcoming. Everything is clean, tidy, and spacious. Hot water is always available, and bed linens and towels are regularly replaced. Additionally, we receive a roll of toilet paper each time. Sun loungers and umbrellas are also provided. Everything is perfect.

The accommodation and host at Marios Apartments are exceptionally reliable. The lodging is clean, relatively new, and well-maintained. The owners do not reside in Toronto, but rather in Sykia, and they come or respond via Viber as needed and by prior arrangement. We communicated with the owner's son, who is the only one fluent in English, while all previous communications were conducted through a translator. Bed linens and towels are changed every four days. Everything can be arranged with the owner, who is accommodating and understanding. Marios Apartments offer private parking, as well as sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, which is perfect for any time of vacation. One can also catch the wifi from the accommodation on the beach, which I believe is significant for everyone, as there is no need for roaming or Greek SIM cards. I wholeheartedly recommend it and hope to see you again. If I were to mention a downside, I would have to sacrifice some advantage. For instance, a potential drawback could be increased noise due to its location on the main street and promenade, but this also negates the advantage of being right on the promenade and a busy street by the sea, as one would then walk to the beach.

We have no complaints about the accommodation; truly, nothing bothered us. The hosts were always accommodating to our needs, although they were not often present, except when they brought clean linens and towels. Toroni is an exceptionally beautiful and peaceful place for families with children, as well as a great base for exploring the beaches and nearby larger towns (Neos Marmaras, Nikiti, Sarti). The beach is fantastic, the sea is clear, and we are extremely satisfied, so we will definitely return.

The location is excellent, the beach is just twenty meters away, the sea is clean and transparent, a true paradise for families with children. The accommodation is tidy. They provide dining utensils, plates, a frying pan, pots, a small coffee maker, and a mini stove with three burners.

All praises! The cleanliness, proximity to the beach, and the availability of sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are truly a significant advantage. The apartment contains everything a family needs. Although small, the time we spend there is quite sufficient.

Everything regarding the accommodation was truly excellent. The lodging was beautiful. It suited us perfectly. A family with two children. It literally takes you 30 seconds to reach the beach, the store, and the bakery. All praises and recommendations. We returned home very satisfied. The beach had small pebbles instead of sand, but they were so fine that it was quite alright. The water was clear and calm. Everything was perfect.

Everything is in order, with a beautiful view from the terrace, VIP loungers on the beach for each room, spacious studios, lovely linens, and towels of various sizes. There is also a portable crib for a baby if needed. The location is in the best part of Toroni, with a market nearby, as well as a bakery and a tavern. There is ample parking behind the house.

This accommodation is situated in a prime location, close to the beach, a bakery, and several restaurants in Toroniju, making it a solid choice for parents with small children. Another advantage is the parking located right behind the property, as well as complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas for apartment guests. The owner is friendly but has limited proficiency in English. Linens and towels are provided every four days, and guests are required to clean the apartment and change the linens themselves. One evening, we experienced a lack of hot water for showering, and the water in the apartment had a peculiar smell. The bathroom fixtures were rusty, despite everything appearing new on the website.

An excellent balance of price and quality.

The studios are solid and more spacious than average. They are located in an excellent spot, right across from the beach, with deck chairs and woven umbrellas provided on the beach for each studio. One of the best local markets is right next door, as well as a bakery where you can find burek. There is a secured parking area. Access to the upper studios is via narrow spiral stairs, which can pose a problem with luggage, especially when it’s wet and slippery. The studios generally have everything standard that one needs, including a table with chairs inside, not just on the terrace. The internet connection is weak, but it works. Overall, it gives the impression that everything is relatively new, but... The mattresses on the beds are catastrophically uncomfortable, although they look great at first glance. They also have protective nets, which further diminish comfort. There is a lack of power outlets. The owners (father and son) are generally helpful and quick to respond once you manage to communicate with them, but they practically do not speak English, making communication very difficult unless you speak Greek. Google Translate can be quite helpful. They do not use Viber, WhatsApp, or similar apps, so if you need to communicate, it can only be done via SMS or phone call. Due to COVID, disinfectants are placed in front of each studio, and the linen change works by leaving fresh linen in a bag in front of the door, which you take and replace with the dirty one. Very correct! What they did not consider is the bad weather. If it’s cold, it is even colder in the studios. It feels like there is no insulation in the walls, so it gets so cold, especially at night, that you feel like it’s 10 degrees. We had to turn on the air conditioning to heat it at the beginning of September when there were several days of very bad weather (16 degrees, rain, and strong winds). There is hot water only when it is sunny because the boiler is solar-powered. We had to call and complain twice, which is a significant minus for the owner. Because if you know that your boiler does not have hot water when the weather is bad, then you should remember to switch to electricity and provide the necessary conditions for guests, rather than having them complain multiple times. It’s understandable to forget once; it’s not the end of the world, we are human, but twice is already too much. In a situation where it was very cold, not only did we have to shower with cold water, but we also traumatized a little child in the process. That feedback, that such a thing is unacceptable, seems to have been hard for the owner to accept, so instead of taking responsibility, which is probably a basic rule in hospitality, and somehow making amends, he responded angrily, justifying himself that "he does not live in Toronto and cannot know whether there is hot water or not unless he is informed." (Solar collector, several days of bad weather, complaints... mhm, valid...) Other Serbs, also with children, did not complain, except to us when we shared our struggles with them, but they endured it and just shrugged their shoulders with comments like "Well, that’s how it is here," as if it were normal. No, it is not normal to have no hot water! As a result, he did not want to come to greet us, take the keys, etc. He made sure to see off the other guests, and that too with a jar of honey. We did not receive any invoice or payment confirmation.

The accommodation is truly perfect. Everything mentioned in the description is accurate, and even more. The owners have genuinely thought of everything. The hospitality of the hosts, the excellent location, and the well-equipped apartment (towels, liquid soap, dishwashing liquid, sponge, sun loungers and umbrella on the beach, complete kitchenware, coffee maker, refrigerator with a freezing compartment, and a stove with an oven).

I would like to share my experiences with anyone who is hesitant and pondering where to spend their vacation. If you decide on Toroni, particularly on Nikana (I was initially skeptical about how everything would turn out since the agency is not based in Serbia), Marios Studios is the right choice. Everything about Nikana is truly commendable - from the way they operate, their patience, and their readiness to assist you in every possible way. The studios themselves are exceptional, exceeding our expectations. Everything described in the accommodation details is accurate, and even more. The location is outstanding, right on the beach. The apartments are very clean, with brand new furniture, and the terrace features fantastic chairs and a table, providing ample space. There are insect screens, all necessary kitchenware, and even a coffee maker. You receive towels and bed linens, with towels being changed every five days. Additionally, you are provided with toilet paper, liquid soap, dishwashing liquid, and a sponge. The beds are new, very comfortable, and spacious. Air conditioning is, of course, available. On the beach, you receive a sunshade with two loungers, which is truly a rarity, allowing for complete privacy. The sunshades are spaced quite far apart. There is also natural shade in that area. The beach is excellent, with crystal clear and warm water. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

An excellent location, the apartment is clean, tidy, and new. It features mosquito nets, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, excellent internet, and parking behind the building. On the beach, each apartment comes with two sun loungers and an umbrella. The owners did not enter the apartments, leaving clean linens and towels at our door every four days. Highly recommended!

The apartments are situated in an excellent location, newly built, modernly furnished, and extremely spacious! Each beachfront apartment comes with a sunshade and two loungers. Air conditioning, mosquito nets, and a well-equipped kitchen are provided. To have your towels and bed linens changed, you must be in Toroni, as the owners do not enter the apartments without you. This can be problematic if you decide to explore the nearby beaches, as we were left without clean linens for eight days. Right next to the apartments, there is a well-stocked market. The owners are engaged in honey production, and we received a jar of homemade honey as a gift.

I am extremely pleased with Toronto. This is our first time vacationing here, and it is truly beautiful. We are considering spending our vacation here again next year. As for the accommodation, I have nothing but praise... It is clean, tidy, and new. They change towels and bed linens every four days. The accommodation is in an excellent location, right by the beach, between restaurants and supermarkets, and close to the promenade. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to vacation here. The only downside is that there are no curtains, as the entire bathroom gets splashed when you take a shower. But that is a minor issue.

Marios Apartments is situated in an excellent location, just 30 meters from the beach. Right next to the apartments, there is a well-stocked store, and on the other side, you will find a restaurant and a bakery. The apartments are new and tidy, but I must mention that the rooms are smaller than they appear in the photographs. The best rooms are 1 and 2, as they are on the upper floor and offer a direct view of the sea. Rooms 3 and 4 are also on the upper floor but have a side view of the sea. Rooms 5 and 6 are on the ground floor, have a side view of the sea, and can be a bit inconvenient since neighbors from the adjacent apartment and restaurant pass right in front of you. The internet is exceptionally fast and reliable; you can watch movies and talk on Skype without any issues, and the signal reaches almost halfway down the beach. The parking is spacious, ensuring there is room for everyone, and during the hottest part of the day, your car will be in the shade. Overall, I highly recommend it!

The apartment is pleasant and spacious, with new furnishings. Wi-Fi is always available. The only drawback is that it gets warm at night due to the flat concrete roof, so one must sleep with the air conditioning on. The beach is just 30 meters away.
