Accommodation description

Pefka Studios and Apartments is an accommodation surrounded by high trees and greenery in Vourvourou, ideal for families looking for a stay close to the beach in a quiet environment. Kind owners will make your stay even more pleasant.

It was renovated in 2001 and located 80m from the sea. The beach is sandy, but narrow, and people are leaving the boats in that part. The nearest supermarket and taverns are at about 100m.

This accommodation consists of four apartments and four studios, set on the ground floor and the first floor. All have about 30m2 of living area and two balconies, having in mind that the balcony on the back of the house is shared. The apartments have one double bed iand one sofa bed n the bedroom, and one sofa bed in the kitchen. Studios are with one double and one sofa bed, with a possibility to add an auxiliary extra bed. Two apartments and two studios are located on the first floor, and two apartments and two studios are on the ground floor.

All accommodation units are air-conditioned, have TV, internet and mosquito nets. They have a kitchen with stove and oven and large fridge with freezer. The bathrooms have a shower cabin or edged shower area with the curtain, drying rack, and there is a shared washing machine, which you can use in agreement with the owner, and with a certain fee.

In the spacious courtyard on the right there is a small playground for children with swings and a shower in the garden, and on the left side there is parking for all guests. Five parking spaces are covered, and guests have a barbecue. Bed linen and towels are being replaced on a half stay.

Accommodation is easy to find, because it is on the main street that passes through Vourvourou. As soon as you enter in Vourvourou, after 1.8km you will see a villa on the right.

The accommodation is situated in an excellent location for visiting numerous beaches, all within a maximum distance of 10 km! The hosts are wonderful and unobtrusive people! Highly recommended!!!!!

We spent a wonderful 12 days in the Pefka apartment in Vurvuru. However, I would like to describe the accommodation in more detail and perhaps help someone in choosing their summer vacation. This house has a lovely location - it is close to supermarkets, restaurants, and even an amusement park for children. The beach is very close (almost in front of the house), but it is not particularly usable. Boats are parked all around (so if you want to swim, you will be swimming between boats), and grass starts from the waist. Nonetheless, we spent two lovely days on that beach, which is quite intimate and actually the most beautiful and well-maintained in front of Ana Karra studios. We expected more considering the price of the apartment. Right in front of the house, boats can be rented to explore Diasporos island - which represents a wonderful adventure, as well as some other equipment like kayaks. The owners are very kind. In the yard, they have parking and offer umbrellas for use, as well as plenty of space and toys for children. However, the kids could not use the yard much for two reasons: it is not very well maintained and there are a lot of mosquitoes even during the day! Everything has its price! The yard is in lush and wild vegetation, both in front and behind the house! From the front, you have a view of the sea, and from the back, a view of the green hill! With these views, I rested my soul and was surprised by this part of Sithonia that resembles Thassos. Everything is green! However, I think this house is not for those who like everything to be perfectly arranged! Also, many beaches are within a distance of no more than 15 km. So wherever you want, you can reach in 10-15 minutes on excellent roads. No nausea, no curves! Also, in 10 minutes, you are in Nikiti or Agios Nikolaos, two lovely little towns, and in Nikiti, there are Masutis and Lidl. However, in Vurvuru, the supermarket supply is so good that there is no need to go that far. Supermarkets have parking! The room is spacious - we were in a two-bedroom apartment. The kitchen is equipped like at home - oven, stove, coffee maker, all possible spoons, boards, cutting tools... We haven't had such a well-equipped kitchen in a long time. For instance, they provided us with a cloth and a kitchen towel, dish soap, and liquid hand soap in the bathroom. There are enough towels. What surprised me, and we didn’t complain because there was no need, was that they changed our bed linen and towels halfway through our stay, on the sixth day. I think it was stated differently in the description! The terrace is comfortable and has a wonderful view! There is even a folding table in the room for those who do not like to eat outside. They can eat inside and enjoy their privacy! I must say that the bathroom functions perfectly, there is no cabin, just a curtain. But there is no spilling and splashing and wiping the bathroom after showering! However, somehow the apartment was not particularly clean. There were "unclean" items in the room that are not used very often, like the wardrobe, window... It seemed like the apartment was cleaned before our arrival, but not very thoroughly... The apartment also contains an iron and a hairdryer... And the landlady Maria (a lovely elderly lady) is always there, so there is no possibility of theft or burglary... We liked that! In our "shift," people mostly stopped by for 5-6 days while traveling, and in the first days, there were no Serbs at all. While in the last days, almost all the rooms were filled with Serbs!

Deposit of 20% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.
