I have rarely enjoyed and rested as much as I have in this house. You have everything you need: a wonderful view, shade, the sea beneath the terrace, lovely taverns on the beach, and a splendid host.

We are currently staying in a stone house in Aliki. We are extremely satisfied. The accommodation is clean and in an excellent location. Everything matches the host's description, who are very kind. Sanja is a wonderful hostess, and we wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

Aliki beach is stunning, and when you are situated right on the shore, you can enjoy it when there are no crowds and the water is at its clearest. The owners are exceptionally kind. We encountered a minor issue with our car, and they immediately came to our aid, finding us a reliable mechanic who did a great job at a fair price.

We enjoyed a splendid Easter in 2021, a nine-day vacation at Aliki Stone House. It was our first extended stay in Aliki, although we were quite familiar with the area, like most other travelers to Thassos, which is an essential stop. The place itself is nothing short of magical, breathtakingly beautiful, with its long and narrow bay, crystal-clear waters, and the impressive ancient marble quarries across the bay offering a perfect walking route, not to mention Mount Athos gracing the horizon. The house may be somewhat small, but it is more than adequate for my wife and me, who are outdoor enthusiasts, and it compensates with its cozy terrace and the exquisite taste and high-quality finishes in stone (surprise, surprise :-) ) and wood. Both beds are comfortable and (very) spacious for a single person, yet the main attraction inside the house is undoubtedly the rather majestic and fully functional fireplace... I promised myself that our next stay will be during the colder season, if only for the pleasure of lighting the fire and sipping tea beside it. The air conditioning is also fully functional, though we had very little need for it. The terrace is generous (and the barbecue is also large and in good working order), but the extraordinary aspect of it is the exceptional view of the beach and bay (the sea is literally just a few steps away, and one can hear the waves constantly), with candles flickering in the night at the small old Christian shrine across the bay... and, thank God, the road is at a safe, soundproof distance. The house, surroundings, and scenery together create a perfect retreat for anyone seeking and cherishing time for rest and meditation, peace, and tranquility.

Aliki Stone House is a true paradise. The hostess is kind, the cottage is equipped with all the necessary amenities, and it is exceptionally clean. See you next year!!!

The interior of the cottage is smaller, but a significant advantage is the beautiful terrace with a divine view of the turquoise sea, which is always clean and transparent. As mentioned in previous comments, the terrace served as our private beach. The owners of the house are a very nice family; the woman is named Sanja, she is from Serbia, and she is incredibly kind, always available! She makes an effort to keep the house clean and fragrant, ensuring that guests lack for nothing! We had a wonderful time together, and thank you so much for everything, dear Sanja!

Alyki Stone House is exactly as depicted in the photographs - the description of the accommodation is highly precise and accurate. The location is phenomenal, right on Alyki beach, which is among the most beautiful on the island. You can spend your days on the spacious terrace or descend to the beach and rent sunbeds, which we typically did. Due to the high tourist traffic, it is advisable to secure a spot a bit earlier - by 10 AM at the end of June... The house is small, but it has everything necessary, and even more, especially regarding the kitchen's equipment. We were with two small children and did not feel a lack of space. The owner is kind and accommodating, and we really liked her. The hygiene is at a high level, and you can tell that attention has been paid to every detail. The place itself is peaceful, with only a few houses and taverns operating from morning until evening, which suited us perfectly.

For two years, I tried to book the Aliki Stone House, but it was always reserved during the period that suited me. Therefore, last November, I decided to secure a reservation and the vacation I desired. Eagerly, I awaited the arrival of summer! The beach and the charming little village of Aliki were already familiar to me; I had vacationed multiple times on Thassos, which I adore, and after every holiday in other resorts on the Adriatic, Turkish, or Spanish coasts, I always return to the beauty of Thassos. The Aliki Stone House is much more beautiful in person than in the pictures provided. A very kind hostess welcomed us with a jar of honey, the island's symbol, handed us the keys, and left us to enjoy and plan our holiday on our own. What is most breathtaking, as you enter the courtyard, is the lovely and spacious terrace from which you can descend directly to the beach, or into the sea for a swim. The terrace has a sunbed (another one would be nice) where you can sunbathe or relax in the shade. This is the most beautiful aspect; the beach is right there, the water is pristine and beautiful, and there is absolute privacy. There are no crowds, no renting of sunbeds, no carrying bags and beach gear... everything you need is right there - in your own courtyard, in the house. Next to the house is a restaurant, and the friendly waiters would pass our orders over the fence; we didn’t even have to go to the restaurant, it felt just like home! On the beach, there are a few more restaurants with delicious traditional dishes, so we didn’t have to go far to find good food; everything is right there. And what I love is that you eat when you want; there are no hotel hours to bind you. Inside the house, the first thing that catches your eye is the impeccable hygiene; everything is almost new and very, very clean, and the bedding is beautiful and fragrant (just like at home). During the fifteen days we stayed, they changed our bedding twice more! Although the kitchenette is small, and the refrigerator as well, it is quite sufficient for what is needed during those days to cook or fry. There is no kettle, so I brought my own, but that is not something essential; it depends on you. Despite the fact that this year there were rainy and even cold days for the beach, this vacation is one of the most beautiful, and I will surely repeat it; next time I will bring my grandchildren as it is ideal for children too. I thank the hosts for the wonderful conditions and a lovely holiday, and I wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone wishing to rent it!

Everything you need to know is included in the accommodation description. It is a very peaceful and beautiful place. You don't need a beach at all. The terrace itself serves as your little beach. It has everything necessary for a perfect vacation. For those seeking a tranquil and genuine getaway, this cottage is the ideal spot. The internet is excellent. The hostess is very pleasant and communicative. A true little paradise.

Nestled right on the beach, this cottage is, in my opinion and taste, one of the finest places you can find on Thassos, if you are not seeking entertainment and noise during your vacation. The owner, Sanja, is Serbian, which facilitates communication, and there is a noticeable difference compared to the "generic" Greek accommodations. The house is well-equipped; there is no typical Greek stinginess where it doesn't belong (if they could, they would install 1 W light bulbs). Just thirty steps above the house, there is a well-stocked supermarket, and the beach is the same distance away. It can be said that you have your own access to one of the prestigious beaches on the island. In front of the house, there is a large terrace with a view of the sea and Mount Athos in the distance, where you will likely spend most of your time. Cars can be parked alongside the main road that circles the island (the parking lot is usually quite crowded, but you can re-park in the evening when the beach visitors leave). Highly recommended, we will definitely return.

Truly, a fairytale cottage... everything is exactly as described... Excellent location, accommodation, and a lovely garden. Everything is accessible and very straightforward for a perfect vacation!
