This is my fifteenth time vacationing in Potos, and my fifth in the same villa and apartment. This reflects my satisfaction with the amenities provided by this island. Nevertheless, I would suggest to the owners of my accommodation to improve the furnishings of the apartment (for example, higher quality auxiliary beds, dishes, and utensils...). Additionally, it is essential to ensure that the televisions are functional, as this issue has persisted for years (although personally it hasn't meant much to me, there are people for whom it does). I am pleased with the relationship and professionalism of your agency, which implies our continued collaboration. However, I have one suggestion for you, which is to engage your representatives (specifically in Potos) who, in addition to speaking Greek and English, also know Serbian, considering that you have many Serbs who do not speak foreign languages, and in cases of problematic situations, effective communication becomes impossible.

Situated in an excellent location in Potos. Secured parking close to the accommodation. Immaculately clean, clean, clean. There is always water, and the pressure is fantastic. Two bedrooms, two air conditioners, and two televisions. A shaded terrace. The room maintains a pleasant temperature at all times. Ample space for four guests. This refers to apartment number 4 on the elevated ground floor.

We spent twelve days in this accommodation. We were delighted by the cleanliness, kindness, and attentiveness of the host. Every day, our apartment was thoroughly cleaned, and every third day, the linens and towels were changed. The air conditioning activates automatically when you close the terrace door. The apartment is spacious and very pleasant. In the same building is the Nikana agency, whose staff is fantastic!

The property is situated in an excellent location, just 50 meters from the beginning of the promenade. Daily cleaning of the apartment is provided, and the bed linens are changed every three days. The landlady's daughter is very courteous. Stopping in front of the property is allowed, but parking is not, so I had to go every day to retrieve my car from the public parking lot located in the school courtyard, about 200 meters from the property. After returning from the beach, I would leave my car there again. Overall, there is a good balance between price and quality.

We have stayed at Balkan House for the second time, this year from June 14th to 24th. My husband and I, along with our two small children, were accommodated in apartment number 4, whereas last year we were in number 3. Both apartments have ample space for a family of four, although apartment number 3 features two terraces and an additional bed. However, the difference of five square meters is noticeable. The accommodation is tidy and clean, and the woman who maintains it is exceptional. She changed the linens several times and truly does her job well. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to prepare a meal. The location of the accommodation is directly across from the church, just a minute's walk from the street lined with shops selling food and souvenirs. I recommend visiting the pastry shop "Delu", which is to the left upon exiting the accommodation, literally a minute's walk away. They offer excellent ice cream and pastries. It takes only a few minutes to walk to a beautiful beach with a restaurant that serves decent food and provides professional service. Overall, the accommodation is highly recommended.

The apartment is very clean; for the first time in Greece, we experienced changing the bed linens three times in ten days and daily cleaning of the apartment.

Hello, we were guests from Macedonia, and this is our second time on Thassos. I can tell you that the location of our accommodation is excellent; everything was close for walking, and most importantly, the beach. When it was hot, we could return to our room in just 2 minutes on foot. We stayed in apartment no. 1, which was clean, and the best part was that it was cool, so there was no need for air conditioning, even though it was available, and we were there when temperatures were nearly 40 degrees. The hosts were very hospitable, and the internet was very fast, which is rare to find in Greece. Overall, I can say it was perfect. Greetings from Macedonia.

Dear Nikana, I find it impossible to convey my impressions from the vacation. I still cannot return to reality after Thassos. First of all, thank you immensely for everything. You are brilliant in every sense. Our stay at Balkan House in Potos was more than pleasant; we felt right at home. The owners are wonderful. A special greeting to sweet Elena from the boys of Jakša. They are truly lovely people. The girls from Nikana are also wonderful and accommodating. A big hello to them as well. As for Thassos, I cannot express my impressions in just a few words, but truly... We are thrilled. Next year, at least 15 days, as that is barely enough to explore Thassos. I would stay there to live... (only if there is a kindergarten where I could work).

We stayed in apartment 4 (two adults and two children, aged 11 and 9), but a better choice would definitely be one of the apartments with two terraces. They offer more space and better lighting. The claustrophobic living room (as someone referred to it) was overshadowed by all the other lovely aspects that drew us here, so it did not spoil our overall impression. The apartment is cozy, the little terrace is wonderful and overlooks the courtyard. The description states that the apartment is on the first floor, but that is from the perspective of the courtyard; when you enter through the main entrance, it is actually on the ground floor, so we settled in quickly. For hygiene, Nikana, and friendliness, I give a rating of 10. If you plan to sit on the terrace in the evening, it would be wise to bring something for mosquitoes. I highly recommend Balkan House; it is in an excellent location, and everything is within reach.

Yesterday, my girlfriend and I returned from Potos. We stayed at Balkan Haus (that’s what the owners named it, whether intentionally or by chance, I do not know) and I would recommend this establishment to everyone. The staff is extremely courteous (the landlady even helped us carry our things into the apartment upon arrival), and the accommodation is well-equipped and exceptionally clean. In the apartment, we had air conditioning, a TV, WiFi internet (quite good), a stove, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, a sandwich toaster, an ice cube tray, all necessary dishes and cutlery, dishwashing detergent, a hairdryer in the bathroom, liquid soap, toilet paper, and a mat for exiting the shower cabin... Regarding maintenance, they change the bed linens every three days (each time you receive two clean towels per person), and the room is cleaned daily. They take out the trash every day and replace the bags in the bins (in the bathroom and kitchen). They regularly replenish liquid soap and toilet paper in the bathroom and dish detergent in the kitchen as needed. Additionally, there is secured parking about 80 to 100 meters from the establishment. ALL PRAISES AND EVERY RECOMMENDATION FOR THIS ACCOMMODATION! I would always gladly return to them. :) P.S. An appeal to tourists from Serbia: IT IS NOT HARD TO BE KIND!!!

We stayed at this accommodation from September 1st to 10th, 2017, and we have nothing but praise. My husband, our two small children, and I resided in apartment number 5. The place was clean and comfortable, with bed linens changed every three days, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The landlady was kind, as were the other members of her family. The parking lot is located 50 meters from the villa, but it is spacious and can accommodate 12-13 cars. The beach was satisfactory; we only visited in the afternoon, while we explored nearby beaches in the morning. The children enjoyed themselves, which is our top priority. We wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and Nikana!

An excellent choice if you do not plan to spend more than 3-4 hours a day (awake) in the room... and if you are sensitive to noise, you might be disturbed by the church bells ringing a few times a day.

I stayed with my husband and daughter in studio number 2 from July 3rd to July 13th, 2017. It is a 2+1 studio located on the ground floor, overlooking the courtyard. Everything is just as shown in the pictures: clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished. Our room was cleaned every day, and towels and bed linens were changed every 2-3 days. The owner is very kind and unobtrusive. The room is quite pleasant, as there is an awning on the terrace that protects from the sun, so we rarely needed the air conditioning. We seldom heard the bells of the church across the street, and they truly did not bother us at all.

We spent 15 days; the rooms are beautiful and cleaned every day. The location is lovely, and the staff at the agency located on the ground floor of the house are friendly and always ready to offer great advice for exploring Thassos.

Tasos is an excellent destination for a vacation. It is neither too small nor too large an island, allowing for plenty to be explored in about ten days, though certainly not everything, which necessitates a return visit. There are many sandy beaches where we truly enjoyed ourselves. Psiliamos, San Antonio (home to the fantastic café-restaurant Sea Breeze, where we recommend the chicken and avocado quesadillas), and Notos are our three favorite beaches. A small note about Notos: the beach itself is wild, dirty, and unkempt, but the water, the color of the sea, and the sand are phenomenal, so those unbothered by these aspects will certainly enjoy this small beach. It is essential to visit Panagia, where there is a source of love and a little bridge that couples should cross to be forever happy and in love. The most beautiful sunset is undoubtedly at the small beach Atspas, where the service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Our recommendation for those who love good lamb is to visit Teologos. And do not forget to visit the Monastery of St. Archangel Michael. In conclusion, Tasos has captured our hearts, and we definitely plan to visit again.

We were accommodated in this villa at the end of August this year. I have nothing but praise for you, primarily due to the cleanliness and the friendly owner. I would also like to commend the staff of your agency (especially Ana). Apartment number 3 is very comfortable, considering that we were five people, two adults and children aged 18, 16, and 14. Every day when we returned from the beach, we found the apartment cleaned, with fresh towels. The beach is very close, there is secure parking, right in the center of Potos, and yet it is very quiet on the terraces, as they overlook the olive grove in the yard. I will certainly recommend it to all my friends.

The accommodation is excellent. We stayed from August 25th to September 5th in apartment number 6, which overlooks the courtyard. We are extremely satisfied, especially considering we were traveling with a small child. It is wonderfully quiet, with no noise at all. We stayed at the Balkan House villa at the end of August. A family of five with three adult children aged 14, 16, and 18 was accommodated in apartment number 3. The apartment is comfortable, featuring a separate bedroom with a double bed and its own terrace. The second room contains a kitchen, a small table, and two beds, plus an auxiliary bed that, when unfolded, is the same size as the other beds. This room also has a separate terrace, and both terraces overlook a completely tranquil courtyard. What impressed me was the cleanliness; the apartments are cleaned every day, and towels and bed linens are replaced impeccably. We saw the landlady three times - we barely managed to catch her to pay the rent. On the ground floor of the villa, there is a representative office of the Nikana agency with very friendly staff (special greetings to Ana). You have all my recommendations, keep up the good work.

We stayed in a double room apartment at Balkan House in Potos from August 20th to August 30th, 2016. The apartment is not large, but that is mentioned, however, it has everything necessary, even for those who wish to cook. The balcony is spacious. Everything is clean, and the linens and towels are changed every two to three days. The internet is excellent. The location is superb in terms of distance from the beach, cafes, and taverns. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy at night, as the street is right in front, with motorcycles and cars passing by, and the church across the house can ring its bell early in the morning. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. The staff at Nikana is present at the entrance of the house, ready to assist in any situation. Discount cards are provided for certain restaurants, so make sure to check in at the agency as soon as you arrive. We were unaware and accidentally walked in just before the end of our vacation, and the girl gave us a card. In Limenaria, there is a tavern that offers a 15% discount with that card.

My husband and I have moved into a 2+1 room and we are very pleased with the service. The rooms are of hotel quality, everything is exceptionally clean and tidy. My wife tidies up the rooms every day, and towels and bed linens are changed every other day. The beach is less than a minute's walk away, and right next to it is a market as well as a promenade.

This is the only accommodation where I would stay again if I returned to Potos. The location is excellent; it’s nothing fancy, but it is exceptionally clean and tidy. They change the towels, it seems, every other day, and even the housekeeper washed the dishes for us. We stayed in apartment number 4, each room has its own air conditioning and TV, along with a beautiful terrace in the shade. The villa has its own parking just 50 meters from the apartment, which is a significant advantage. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the bathroom features a proper shower cabin instead of those worn-out curtains that barely fit. I am extremely satisfied.

My wife and I, along with our three children, stayed from August 15, 2015, to August 24, 2015. Our experience was phenomenal. The spacious apartment featured a large refrigerator combined with a freezer, which was particularly significant for us as we froze portions for our portable fridge that we took to all the beaches without bars. We only saw the landlady on the first day, and she assisted us in bringing our belongings inside. Cleaning was done daily, and bed linens and towels were replaced every 2-3 days. The awnings on the terraces were perfect. The kitchen in the apartment was well-equipped. The spacious bathroom added to our comfort. The agency Nikana proved to be outstanding; they were available for everything we needed. This has been our best vacation so far, and for the first time, the pictures and description of the villa matched the actual condition perfectly.

From July 6 to July 16, 2014, I stayed with my wife and two children (8.5 and 2.5 years old). Accommodation unit number 9. One of three that overlook the church and the street. The French bed and one auxiliary bed used by the older child were excellent, slightly shorter than the French bed, but remarkably comfortable. The furniture appears new or at least gives that impression, and the hygiene in the room is commendable. The owner's daughter, who is constantly present at the property, takes care of this and truly deserves praise. The room is spacious enough, and at first, the space in one wardrobe seemed small to me, but once we unpacked, we managed to fit everything we needed. The bathroom, equipped with a shower cabin, is spacious, with a large cabinet for small items, and very nicely arranged. It is also commendable that there is a towel for exiting the shower, which was changed daily. The other towels were changed every three days, as was the bedding. There were three large and three small towels, as this studio is classified as 2+1. Since we have visited many accommodations in Greece, especially on Thassos, I was pleasantly surprised by details such as dish detergent, a sponge, and bath products in the bathroom. We hardly encountered this anywhere else. Now, I would like to briefly comment on the noise and crowd on the street, as well as the presence of the church. When we wanted to book accommodation, one of the comments was that the church, which makes a terrible noise through the megaphone, is a significant drawback. We arrived on Sunday around 1 PM, and all week I was waiting for the church to finally announce itself, but it was silent. The liturgy was held only on Sunday, July 13, 2014, around 8-9 AM, when the bells rang and the liturgy was broadcast. Of course, by that time, we were already having breakfast and preparing for the beach. The afternoon ringing was around 6 PM, but we were still at the beach then, and it didn't bother us at all. I truly expected much more noise and disturbance from the mentioned church, but what we experienced was negligible. In the morning hours, we could hear trucks passing by, occasionally stopping to deliver goods to the nearby supermarket. The terrace had a large awning, guaranteeing shade, but the direct sun avoided us except briefly in the morning. The terraces facing the street are quite narrow, which is one of the complaints about the accommodation. They have length, but the problem lies in their width :( Another detail that delighted me was the wine glasses!!! A detail that might not catch the eye of many, but for us, it was a huge plus. Regarding the internet, there were some difficulties, but thanks to Iva from Nikana's agency, we resolved that issue as well, so thank you once again on this occasion. This was our first time on Thassos through Nikana, and our fourth overall, considering that both we and the children carry excellent impressions and wonderful memories from this vacation. A deal has already been made for the next year... Thassos through Nikana.

From July 7th to July 17th, 2014, my husband, our two daughters, my cousin, and I stayed in apartment number 4. We have nothing but praise, as everything was excellent. For those who wish to prepare meals, the kitchen is well-equipped. The wardrobe is spacious, with plenty of shelves and drawers (with two teenagers, you can imagine how many things we have). The terrace overlooks the courtyard, which I find wonderful, as I have seen apartments facing the street, and seeing towels hanging there is not appealing to me. That's why I like this place. We stayed in apartment 4. The young landlady is a lovely girl who maintains everything beautifully. Our towels were changed after 2 days, even though it states they are changed every 3 days. You get one towel for showering and one smaller one per person. Nikana and her team are exceptional, especially Iva. We are sure that next year we will return to Tasos, Nikana, and Balkan Haus. A big thank you to Nikana and her team!

We stayed in a ground-floor apartment, which was perfect for our family of four (parents + two children). For those who choose to prepare their own meals while on vacation, the kitchen is adequately equipped, so there’s no need to worry. Our children enjoyed themselves on the terrace and in the yard, where they also played.

We stayed from August 18 to August 28, 2013, with my wife and our two children (11 and 4 years old) in apartment number 4, and our stay was exceedingly pleasant.

I stayed with my husband and our one-year-old baby in the second half of August at Balkan Haus, in a studio 2+1. We were completely satisfied with the studio itself, its appearance, amenities, cleanliness, everything! Considering we were with a baby, these details are crucial, and everything was perfect. I have no complaints; I would recommend it to everyone. The hostess even washed our dishes on the days we couldn't manage. Every day she cleaned and emptied the trash can, and besides that, she is exceptionally pleasant and warm-hearted, which is an additional plus. The only downside might be that it was a bit warmer on the terrace from noon onwards due to the sun's position, but those are things you can't influence. All in all, I highly recommend it!!!

I stayed with my wife and son in apartment number 1 from August 16 to August 26, 2013. The villa is located right in the center of Potos, with everything you need in close proximity. The apartment is very beautiful, well-equipped, and the cleanliness is at an admirable level. It faces the courtyard, ensuring peace and quiet. I have nothing but praise for the housekeeper Anastasija for her meticulousness, kindness, and unobtrusiveness. The church bells and occasional liturgies can be heard, but I personally found them pleasant. The girls from the Nikana agency are very friendly, accommodating, and sweet.

We vacationed from July 27 to August 9, 2013. My husband, I, and our two daughters (ages 5 and 11). We were accommodated in a 4+1 apartment, which was perfect in every sense of the word. The location was ideal, right in the center (about thirty meters from a bakery and a supermarket), yet completely sheltered from the hustle and bustle as the apartment overlooks the courtyard. The apartment was spacious and equipped with everything necessary. Daily cleaning of the apartment, with linen and towels changed every other day. Special praise goes to Anastasia, who is always there for anything you need, very polite yet unobtrusive. Be sure to visit the village of Teologos and do not miss the lamb at the Stelios tavern!

From August 1st to 11th, 2013, we stayed at Balkan House in Potos. It was a family trip with my wife, our two children – a son aged 2.5 years and a daughter aged 7 months, along with my wife's younger sister. It was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely return when the kids are a bit older. A heartfelt thank you to the girls from Nikana for their kindness.

I vacationed with my wife and two children from June 23 to July 2, 2013, in apartment number 1. The accommodation was excellent, located on the ground floor of the villa, very spacious and comfortable. Last year, we also vacationed in the Balkan Haus villa, and I would like to express my utmost praise for the staff of the Nikana agency as well as for the personnel maintaining the villa.

I vacationed with my husband and our five-year-old daughter in a two-bedroom apartment during the second half of June. The apartment is excellently equipped, and I particularly emphasize that all rooms had air conditioning and a television. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and necessary appliances, and the apartment has good-speed cable internet. The bathroom is modern, comfortable, and features a shower cabin. The apartment is cleaned every day, and the linens and towels are changed every third day. Balkan House is located near the beach, promenade, and all amenities in the small but beautiful Potos.

From June 13th to 26th, I stayed with my husband, baby, and sister in a 4+1 apartment. We were extremely satisfied with the service; the apartment was cleaned daily. The apartment is comfortable, and the large bathroom is a significant advantage, providing ample space for the stroller and the small pool. The lady responsible for cleanliness is very pleasant and kind. We lacked nothing. All in all, we would come back again :)

I stayed with my husband. Vacationing in Thassos is an exploration of beautiful beaches surrounded by olive trees and pines, planning a visit to the authentic village of Theologos, where delicious lamb is served... In the evening, romantic restaurants by the sea or mini parties in cafes... Greetings to the cheerful and friendly staff at Nikan. To Ani, and again to Ani and Natasha.

In August 2012, I stayed with my family. The three-person studio, facing the main street, was quite small (I can't say how many square meters, but we couldn't pass by each other in the room). There was an air conditioner, as without it, the stay becomes unbearable; in a room with two exterior walls, the heat becomes oppressive after just half an hour. Overall, there was nothing particularly special about it.

In August 2012, I stayed with my family and relatives. Located in the center, just three minutes from the beach, it is quiet and peaceful, with excellent parking. The hosts are unobtrusive and courteous, with no complaints whatsoever. We recommend it to anyone who wishes to enjoy a yard and feel at home. The apartments are beautifully decorated.

During the period from July 19 to July 30, 2012, I stayed at Balkan Haus with my girlfriend in a ground-floor apartment for two.

I stayed with my son and wife. Everything regarding the accommodation was satisfactory. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy, considering it is right next to the main street, or rather the road.

I vacationed with my family, my wife and two children from June 25 to July 8, 2012. The three-person studio features one French bed and an extra bed, making it an ideal accommodation for a family with one child under five years old; otherwise, a larger apartment should be considered. Regarding the apartment itself, it is very clean, with bed linens and towels changed every four days, and regular cleaning is maintained. The kitchen is excellent, equipped with a flat cooking surface and a combined refrigerator, providing ample space for groceries. The bathroom has a shower cabin and is well-equipped, including a hairdryer. The terrace is perfect, furnished with a wooden table and very comfortable chairs, and it features an awning for shade. The apartment we stayed in is a studio on the ground floor, number 2. Within the villa, there is also Nika's agency, which, believe it or not, has a library where you can borrow books to read. The entire staff, starting from the owners who are very kind and unobtrusive, to the employees of the agency, are very professional, friendly, and helpful. They strive to accommodate your needs, even providing discount cards for numerous restaurants and shops throughout Thassos. All praise goes to Ana, whom we had the opportunity to meet, as well as to the agency and the staff.

I stayed with my family from June 15th to June 30th. Everything was as they told us, except that the weather did not quite cooperate. The villa is located right in the center, about 200 meters from the beach, which is decent. I recommend the Garden Grill restaurant, where the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable compared to the café right on the beach, which is extremely expensive. Be sure to visit the beautiful St. Michael's Monastery with its stunning view, Golden Beach where the waves are the best, the village of Teologos known for its exquisite lamb, and Panagiu with its lovely shops in the center. In my opinion, Potos is the best place on Thassos.
