Skala Potamija boasts a delightful promenade, adorned with charming restaurants. It features ample shops both along the promenade and nearby, as well as classic playgrounds for children. Our accommodation was ideally situated, just a stone's throw from the promenade and the center. The beach is merely 55 steps away, and the sea can be glimpsed from the yard. Reaching the larger beaches, such as Golden Beach, takes only a few minutes on foot. The view from our accommodation overlooks the mountains. The bed that pulls out like a drawer from the third can be raised to align with the other beds. The two beds joined together as a matrimonial unit are pleasantly wide and comfortable in apartment number 1. With the landlady Eleni, communication is effortless even if you don't speak Greek. On our first day, we received a cucumber from the garden, and on our last day, we were gifted little treats for the children as a token of kindness and good wishes.

All compliments for the accommodation. The beach is just 20-30 meters away from the lodging. The owner, Eleni, is wonderful, always in the mood for a joke and ready to assist with anything needed.

Renovation is needed at this prime location, but the relationship with the owner is disastrous.

This accommodation is a perfect choice; truly, you will not find anything better for this price in the middle of the season. You might be shocked in the first few minutes if you are used to more modern furniture and a tidier environment at home, but once you accept that aspect, you begin to enjoy all the advantages. The beach is just five steps away from the accommodation, beautiful, with soft (flour-like) sand, an incredibly long shallow area with impeccably clean water, and daily waves that provide ample fun in the water (if you have imagination). There is a designated area of the beach exclusively for the guests of these studios; you can bring your towels, umbrellas, and sun loungers to create a complete enjoyment for yourself. In the studio itself, you have literally everything you need, from dishes to an iron, a chopper, and a hairdryer. The owner of the studio has thought of everything. Although she does not speak English, she communicates in Greek, giving instructions with her hands and feet, which can be a bit tiring until you grasp what she is saying, but essentially, she is a lady who loves order; everything is impeccably clean at her place, and she treated us like a mother. She brought us fresh vegetables from her garden but also knew how to scold us when we were not behaving well. Of course, all of this was accompanied by a smile, and we did not hold it against her; she is a very kind woman if you understand her humor. Skala Potamia is a beautiful tourist destination; during the day, it is absolutely free of crowds, and at night, it is lively and cheerful, full of restaurants and cafes, with entertainment for children. We truly received much more than we expected from this vacation.

A truly delightful place. An impeccable location.

Our stay at Kohili Studios was delightful. The hostess Eleni was very charming and hospitable, and although she doesn't speak a word of English, we managed to communicate quite well. The accommodation is decent; the rooms are somewhat cramped, but for the amount of time you spend in them, it's perfectly acceptable. It is very clean and tidy. My only complaints are that the accommodation did not have its own Wi-Fi, so we "borrowed" from the neighboring villa, and the only signal was available on the shared terrace. I know you might think that it’s possible to go without the internet for those ten days, but with a small child who seeks entertainment for at least an hour in the evening, it is truly necessary. The shared kitchen, which was mentioned as available, was not functional, which is also something that was stated in the description, but on the "ground," it was not the case; at least she did not direct us to use it. We did not plan to cook in the accommodation, but it is certainly one of the minor downsides, considering that the kitchen in the room was not equipped for preparing a more substantial meal. A huge, huge plus is that you are right on the beach, so the sound of the waves both wakes you and lulls you to sleep. The accommodation, although modest, still carries a certain spirit of Thassos that no luxury villa can provide. We are completely satisfied with our stay and vacation in the beautiful Skala Potamias. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, perfect for families with small children!

Studio Kohili is a decent accommodation, clean and tidy, although somewhat cramped (studio 2+1). The kitchen is very modestly equipped, making it unsuitable for serious cooking. The landlady is very kind, but she does not speak a word of English, which significantly limits communication. The studio is located on a beach that is quite narrow and covered with larger round stones, but the water has sand, which was fine for us; however, not far away (to the left or right) is a sandy beach. The center and several markets are very close by.

The Kohili accommodation is quite satisfactory. The studio we reserved is exactly as depicted in the pictures. The accommodation is clean, tidy, the air conditioning works perfectly, and there was always hot water for showering. The beach in front of the studio is fantastic for those who enjoy large pebbles, and as soon as you enter the water, you find sand. We were not disappointed; everything went well, and we will most likely return to Karla, who is a very pleasant person.

We expected a better beach since we chose accommodation in the first row by the water, assuming that the beach would be pleasant. In reality, there is huge stone, and Golden Beach is a ten-minute walk away in the heat, which can be exhausting with a small child. However, Marble La Scala is there to save the situation. Since we are traveling, a more modern accommodation further from the water in Skala Potamii could be an option. Here, the wardrobes feel stale, and the space is quite cramped. The studio is for 2+1.

During our stay at the Kochili studio, my wife and I, along with our children aged 11 and 8, spent four days (part of our vacation on Thassos) in early July 2016. This marks our fourth time vacationing on Thassos. From the very beginning, we encountered the exceptional hospitality of the kind Eleni. They immediately arranged a parking space for us in the yard. We were allowed to enter the studio, even though we arrived earlier than the scheduled time (to be fair, the previous guests had already checked out, and the studio was ready for new arrivals). We were welcomed into a clean, tidy, and what I would describe as a standard studio for Thassos. The bathroom offers ample space, and the kitchen is equipped with a sink, refrigerator (without a freezer), a stove with two burners (without an oven), and an extractor fan. We could have used one more cabinet for our belongings, but we still managed to fit into the 3+1 studio. The extra bed was just slightly shorter than the standard size. The kitchen is reasonably equipped with dishes and cutlery, and for special requests, there is a shared kitchen that everyone can also use. We found the perfect pan for pancakes there. The shared kitchen is practically in the shade all day, making it convenient for dining as well. The studio is located right next to the beach, along the promenade in Skala Potamija, yet far enough from the center to ensure peace and quiet at night. I would particularly like to emphasize the kindness of Eleni and her entire family. On the beach in front of the studio, we used the sunbeds from the apartment, and we were always invited for coffee under the terrace, for melons in the shade of the vine, and for drinks in the evening by the sea. We felt as if we were part of the family, rather than tourists who spent four days there. The Kochili studio is not accommodation with high-quality furnishings and modern decor like in movies and advertisements, but for a relaxed family vacation, it is worth every penny and much more.
