All praises for Sonia Villa! The house is situated in a quiet part of Potos, just a few dozen meters from the main road and two hundred meters from the very center and all the happenings. You can reach the city beach from two directions; personally, as someone who prefers to take it easy, the distance of 350-400 meters was not a problem for me. Every third day, the bedding is changed and the accommodation is tidied up. In the two rooms we stayed in, there were double beds plus an additional bed in the living room. The bathroom is spacious with a bathtub. Wi-Fi is available and satisfactory. The owner is pleasant and unobtrusive, always available for any issues.

The price-quality ratio is exceptionally favorable, and the accommodation is very pleasant.

We are currently staying at Villa Sonia. The bed linens are clean, and the beds are new, just like the other furniture in the rooms. It has everything one could need. Air conditioning is available in both rooms. We did not purchase a washing machine, detergent, or fabric softener, as those are covered by the house. All in all, it is truly a wonderful accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful location. All the best ratings belong to this lovely woman and her effort to host us.

Villa Sonia is situated in the heart of Potos. The hosts are exceptionally hospitable. The rooms are clean and appear just as they do in the pictures. The terraces are quite narrow, leaving little room for more than a few people, which is the only drawback.

We stayed at Villa Sonia from August 6 to August 18, 2019, in a four-person apartment. The accommodation is located very close to the center of Potos, and the town beach (which we visited, admittedly, only twice) is not far away. The apartment is clean and tidy, and the bed linens and towels were changed three times, that is, every four days. As for the kitchenware, it is adequately equipped, and if you find something missing, the friendly hosts will always be there to assist you. A downside of the accommodation is that the terrace is quite narrow. The villa does not have its own parking, but there is a shared parking area nearby, and there is always space available. I mention this because we have been visiting Thassos for three years now, exploring different beaches every day, and we have always found parking upon our return. Any potential shortcomings of the accommodation are compensated by the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. From the vegetables from their own garden that the hostess brought on the first day, to the farewell gift upon our departure, to the attentiveness of both the host and hostess whenever any issue arose. Thus, the hosts are the main stars of this accommodation. The hospitality, in general, of the residents of Thassos is what brings us back.

We stayed at Villa Sonia from July 23, 2019. First and foremost, I would like to commend the exceptional cleanliness and kindness of the hosts. The accommodation is modest but exceptionally clean and tidy. Bed linen and towels are changed every three days. The villa is located a 4-5 minute walk from the city beach, although we only visited it twice. The island of Thassos is beautiful, and it is essential to explore the surrounding beaches, which are numerous and each lovely in its own way. The sea is incredibly clean. The market is nearby and well-stocked. In a word, everything was fantastic for us, and the hostess even gifted us a small present. If we return to the island, we will surely stay at Villa Sonia again - cleanliness 5*, location 5*.

We arrived at Villa Sonia around midnight on July 21, 2019, and the hostess kindly accommodated us in the apartment on the upper floor, numbers 7 and 8. For the first day or two, I felt that the apartment was poor, somewhat cramped with a narrow kitchen. However, the impression changed as we relaxed and got used to it. The mosquito nets on the windows in the rooms are good, but the net in the bathroom is improvised and has a large hole through which a pigeon can pass, which is unacceptable for Tasos, known for its mosquitoes. We couldn’t move the faucet above the sink because it would detach; when that happened, we set it up "to hold water until the repairmen come" and we couldn’t move it anymore. The landlady is kind, but we didn’t ask her to fix the faucet because that would take up our time. The circuit breaker tripped a few times, but we no longer turned on both burners simultaneously. In terms of cookware, we had a large pot, a medium saucepan with a handle, a medium-sized plastic bowl for salad, another for washing (with holes), three deep plates, four small and four large shallow plates, three glass cups, four mugs, 2-3 coffee cups, a kettle for 2-3 coffees, a ladle, and one with a long handle suitable for sautéing, frying, or cooking, two small spoons, three or four large ones, three to four forks, four butter knives, and one knife for bread or watermelon, which was actually the only knife that could cut anything. Fortunately, I always have a "Swiss Army knife" in the car without which we wouldn’t have peeled a cucumber, sliced a tomato, or chopped food for the kids. The air conditioning worked impeccably, cooling all rooms in less than five minutes, and it’s good that it can be used even when the windows are open. The terrace is nice, not cramped, and safe for children. Two drying wires are quite sufficient. The wardrobes and nightstands are from the time of my great-grandfather but are functional. The tables and chairs are newer and safe. We had two French beds (one for two people), one in each room. One was uncomfortable, the other was okay. It takes 3-4 minutes to walk to the safe parking lot, and right across from the house is parking for guests of other accommodation facilities that you can use in an emergency. The nearest store (supermarket) is a 5-6 minute walk downhill, so if you buy a lot, the return to the apartment uphill takes twice as long. We drove to the supermarket in Pefkari (2-3 minutes by car) on the highway because it is the most convenient, and I think the selection is the best. Prices are probably similar among supermarkets, so that wasn’t a criterion when choosing where to shop. Overall, there are certainly better apartments in better locations; it’s just a question of at what price. Advantages: Helpful landlady, beautiful garden around the house, generally clean. Disadvantages: In the room with the kitchen and two beds, from which you enter the bathroom, you must keep the blinds lowered on the left side of the window and draw the curtain on the right (to have at least a little light) or completely draw the blinds and darken the room so that the neighbor doesn’t see you from the terrace. A few times I walked naked in/out of the bathroom with the blinds up and curtains moved until I noticed I was "interesting" to the neighbors. Although the street next to the house is so narrow that only one vehicle can pass in one direction, one might think it’s not busy and not noisy. But at night, almost every night, youth pass by in beat-up junkers that stink and yell, louder than those driving them. It is far from the beach. At least a 12-minute walk with kids and gear from the room to the towels or lounge chairs at the nearest beach when the kids keep a decent pace. The nearest beach is rocky next to some hotel, so it takes even longer to get to the town beach in Potos. You have to cross the highway outside of a pedestrian crossing, which is not an easy task with small children and gear. The beds creak a lot, they are old, and can be uncomfortable. The accommodation was decent and clean, although the furnishings were somewhat older, it did not bother us. The landlady comes every three days to change the linens and towels. The only downside is that it is located on the other side of the highway, and there is hardly any sidewalk since cars are parked on it. The city beach is nearby, while parking for cars is a bit farther away. The hosts were polite and unobtrusive. We even received gifts from the landlady upon our departure. All in all, I recommend it.

We stayed in a four-bed apartment on the first floor from July 9th to 19th, 2018. After entering Potos, we passed by a fenced parking area, took the first street on the left, and after about 100 meters, we arrived at the villa. The parking is located about 90 meters up in a pine forest, where all guests of the surrounding villas park their cars. We had no issues with parking. There is an option to make a barbecue in the yard. The villa owners are kind and warm-hearted people, especially the owner Kaliopi, who welcomed us and showed us everything beautifully. Each bed has two towels that are changed along with the bedding every three days. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the cutlery and dishes, and we were particularly surprised to find a kettle and a blender. The internet is good; there are occasional interruptions, but it did not bother us at all. When we were leaving, Kaliopi gave us a small gift (olives and a cloth, thanks to her once again). The furniture is older, but the beds and pillows are comfortable, and for the price we paid, we are very satisfied and highly recommend this accommodation. It takes about five minutes of easy walking to reach the center and the city beach, so everything is nearby, and the street is not very busy or noisy. All in all, we highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is in doubt.

Stay period from July 10 to July 20, 2017, in a four-person apartment. Very spacious, with all necessary amenities. Neat and clean. The bathroom is spacious. The hosts are friendly. The only downside is the occasional interruption of the internet. It is available, but it disconnects. The furniture is older.

My husband, children, and I stayed at Villa Sonia from July 3rd to July 18th, 2017. The villa is situated in an excellent location, just 5 minutes from the center of Potos. The accommodation was impeccable. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every 3-4 days. Bed linens and towels are replaced every 3 days. Everything is very clean and tidy, thanks to the landlady. The hosts are very warm-hearted people, always ready to assist. Upon our departure, the landlady gifted us oregano, olives, and tea. My child received a bracelet from the grandmother, who was always sitting there. We hope to return to Villa Sonia next year.

First and foremost, Nikana is a trustworthy agency through which I am visiting Thassos for the second time with my family, and I must say that they have once again made every effort to meet our expectations through their mediation. The accommodation at Villa Sonia was flawless; the rooms are comfortable, very clean, and functional. The hosts who rent it out are extremely kind, unobtrusive, and responsible people. There are small terraces as well as a spacious yard where you can relax, enjoy a coffee, and so on. The villa's location is slightly above the main road and is situated in a quiet part of Potos, which I find to be very good, as the crowds and traffic this year have been quite significant. Since I want a pleasant vacation and comfort for my family, and I received that on this occasion, I recommend this accommodation to all families with small children. The price-quality ratio is 10+.

We stayed at Villa Sonia from August 15 to August 25, 2016. In our case, it involved two couples. We reserved a four-person apartment that is ideal for families with children as well. Regarding the location, the villa is situated just two streets away from the center of Potos, making shops, various stores, souvenir shops, taverns, and all other necessary amenities easily accessible. The beach is a leisurely 5-10 minute walk away. The accommodation itself is quite decent. I particularly appreciate that the mentioned apartment has two bathrooms. Each room has access to a terrace that is narrow enough to fit a table and two chairs for each room, which is perfect for a morning coffee or evening relaxation. For meals, it is simpler to use the tables in the yard, which are fully available to guests. Each room has an air conditioning unit included in the price of the stay. One room also has a TV. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils, including a sponge for washing dishes, detergent, and a dishcloth (I emphasize this as I have not noticed such details in some previous accommodations). The bathrooms are stocked with liquid soap and toilet paper, which are regularly replenished during the apartment cleaning. Cleaning is done every three days, during which guests receive two new towels each, as well as the aforementioned dishcloth. Everything is very clean and tidy. The owners are wonderful and charming people. We truly felt relaxed and warmly welcomed. The owner Tsomos runs a café on the beach, which I highly recommend. Be sure to try their pancakes, which I can honestly say are the best I have ever had in my life. As mentioned, parking is located above the villa, extending along the street, and there is plenty of space available. Our stay at Villa Sonia was very pleasant; we have no complaints. Thassos is beautiful, Potos is charming... and we would certainly visit this destination again. Given the wonderful experience with the agency, the villa owners, and the accommodation itself, I would personally have no problem returning to the same villa again.

We stayed at "Sonia Villa" from July 2, 2016, to February 16, 2016. Everything we read on the website completely aligns with the situation we encountered upon our arrival. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, and pleasant for relaxation. The owners are friendly and courteous, extremely helpful, and ready to assist with various matters. The only criticism might be directed towards the rather narrow terrace (fitting four chairs around the table is nearly impossible), but this is a common situation in most apartments of this type in Greece. Cleaning was done every three days, with a change of bed linens, towels, bath mats, and even dishcloths in the kitchen. Overall, it is a very pleasant place, not too far from the beach, and very peaceful. Also, as I read in a comment from previous years, the beds do indeed squeak, so perhaps something could be done about that. A big hello to Ana. I spent 10 days with my family in this villa, and I can say that we are extremely satisfied with the accommodation, cleanliness, and the kindness of the hosts. The location is close enough to the center while still being far enough from the noise. The apartment we stayed in overlooks the courtyard and has plenty of shade, so we hardly used the air conditioning. Considering that we have been visiting Thassos for many years and this is our first time in this villa, I can tell you that we have never encountered kinder, cleaner, and more cheerful hosts. I wholeheartedly recommend it for both families and couples.

During the period from August 21 to September 4, 2015, I stayed with my wife and daughter at Apartment Sonia. Out of respect for the owners of Apartment Sonia and Nikani, I am sending my opinion, which I have already expressed in a few words - This is the best value for your money. The apartment is exceptionally clean, Jorgos's wife cleans it at least every three days, and everything in the apartment functions perfectly (which has not always been the case during my previous travels). We were also able to use the washing machine. When we were leaving for home, they gifted us olives, oregano, and they made a small bracelet for my daughter. It is truly a gesture worthy of praise, and I must admit that I have never experienced anything like this in my previous vacations (considering the number of times I have traveled to Greece, it has been quite a few).

During the period from August 31 to September 5, 2013, I stayed in a beautiful apartment. The hospitality was exceptional, and I have nothing but praise!

During my stay at this villa, I was accompanied by my family, my wife and our two children (14 and 12 years old) from August 4th to August 17th, 2013 (14 days). While searching for a vacation spot, we explored all of Greece, but accommodations were scarce, or rather, not as plentiful as we had hoped. Either the stays were shorter than 12 or 13 days, or they were exorbitantly priced without any corresponding value. Our family opted for a familiar destination - Thassos (we had already visited Thassos twice before). The villas we considered were already booked, and after several days of searching for accommodation, I stumbled upon Villa SONIA. The pictures and descriptions seemed satisfactory, but we needed to verify it in person. The hospitality of the host and his family upon our arrival pleasantly surprised us, and this warmth lasted until the very moment we departed for home. Bed linens and towels were changed every third day, and we were provided with a washing machine at no extra charge. The villa owner also runs a café on the city beach, where the staff is exceptionally friendly, and whenever we requested something, the response was always, "Of course." If you book through NIKANA, you also receive a 10% discount at the café. The owners speak English, German, and a few words of Serbian. They produce their own olive oil, which you can purchase at a lower price than in stores. There is a barbecue in the yard. We were thrilled with our hosts; for the money we paid, we received even more than we expected. I highly recommend Villa Sonia.

We spent two weeks during the peak season (late July and the first half of August) as a family of three, a couple with a twelve-year-old boy, in a four-person apartment. The prevailing impression is the warmth of the hosts, who were always there for anything we needed, yet without being intrusive. They brought us vegetables from their own garden, large quantities of olive oil, honey... They offered the use of a washing machine and other amenities. The landlady, Kaliopi, is very diligent, cleaning impeccably every three days, yet going unnoticed. The apartment is conveniently located near the beach. We did not use the air conditioning, despite the high temperatures, as the apartment's position is in deep shade, keeping it cool both day and night. It has mosquito nets, which is important due to the rampant mosquitoes.

I vacationed with my girlfriend and another couple. The host is excellent. He speaks English and is not intrusive. He even offered us to stay an extra day for free :) The rooms are clean, tidy, and air-conditioned. In the yard, there are chairs, and the host doesn’t mind if you stay late with a bit louder music :) The parking is in the woods, 100 meters away, safe and shaded. I recommend this accommodation to everyone as it offers more than its price, which is truly ridiculously low.

In June, I stayed at the "Sonia" villa with my family. The apartments met the needs of our family of four. They are spacious, with relatively old but comfortable furniture. The hosts are a special story. Three generations live in the house, and each has a role in the household. We quickly established close relationships. They are warm-hearted and constantly brought us homemade products. We truly felt the atmosphere of life on Thassos. Hygiene is at a high level by Greek standards. They changed our bed linens and towels every three days. The shops are relatively close to the property, but Potos is a small town, and it is simply impossible for anything to be far away if you are accommodated there.
