Ifigenia is an average villa, with a very nice yard and spacious and quaint apartments. It is great as a base for going around the island, sheltered from traffic and noise, yet close to all amenities. The courtyard is a real little paradise for the youngest visitors, since it has a large number of toys.

Accommodation is located in Skala Potamia, about 400m from the beach, on a hill, 200m from the center.

Ifigenia Villa consists of two connected buildings, with entrances from the courtyard at the front, or from the exterior stairs and corridors at the rear. In the rear, there is a playground for children with a slide, seesaw, swings and rocking horses, and in the front is a beautifully landscaped lawn with tables and chairs, paved paths, barbecue, dining area under canopy, flowers, palm trees and phenomenal views of the Skala Potamia and the sea.

There are nine air-conditioned accommodation units, named after the muses from Greek mythology and in which the beds are arranged as follows:

_Studios: _

• Efterpi, with three single beds and a sofa
  
• Calliope, with three single beds and an armchair
  
• Erato, with three single beds and an armchair
  
• Terpsichore, with one double and one single bed
  
• Melpomene, with three single beds and a sofa
  

_Apartments: _

• Urania, with one double and three single beds
  
• Clio, with one double and two single beds, with the possibility of inserting a sofa
  
• Thalia, with two double beds, one of which is narrower than standard
  
• Polymnia, with four single beds and an armchair
  

Urania and Thalia are on the top floor, while Clio and Polymnia are on the ground floor. It should be noted that Urania Apartment has a smaller balcony and bathroom, and Thalia is the smallest unit of the three. Urania and Talia have accordion doors that separate one part of the unit from another.

The apartments can accommodate 4-5 people and studios 2-4 people. The beds are a combination of double and single beds, and a sofa bed. The furniture is new, the kitchens and bathrooms are of medium quality, the terraces are either separate or long and common, usually overlooking the sea. If there are five people in the studios, it loses significantly in space, so it can be tight. Ground floor units do not have fenced terraces, but a porch in front of the entrance or part of the courtyard with a table and chairs.

Ground floor duplex apartment for up to five people, with two bedrooms (each with two single beds and a sofa), with kitchen, bathroom, patio, TV and air conditioning, could be particularly interesting for two couples with one child each or for one large family given the separation of rooms and duplicate kitchens, bathrooms, exits and equipment. Other apartments (one on the ground floor and two on the attic) have separate rooms (sometimes only with a bow, not a door), one kitchen and a bathroom. All units have a TV and internet, and the kitchens are medium-sized refrigerators.

The size of the studio is about 21m2, while the size of the apartment varies from 30m2 to 35m2.

Cleaning, changing towels and linen are done every third day.

The yard is really beautifully landscaped, full of greenery, paths and flowers. There is also a communal space for socializing with stunning views of the bay. In the second part of the yard there is a large number of toys for the youngest visitors. There is also a small basketball court.

This accommodation does not have private parking, but not far from it there is a parking space where you can leave your vehicle.

To get to Ifigenia, you need to take the narrow and bad road that leads uphill (about 100m) to the Ifigenia villa at the Niki supermarket, from a street parallel to the central one. There is also a parking space for one larger or two smaller cars in the courtyard of the villa, and there is more parking space in the vicinity. The villa is easily visible, all in greenery, palm trees, shrubs and flowers, and in addition to the entrance gate there is a billboard (shown in the photos).

It can be a good solution considering the proximity of the center, reasonable prices, size of accommodation units, parking, landscaped yard and fantastic panoramic views. It is ideal for a quiet family holiday, and the owners are wonderful family people, cordial and unobtrusive.

Potamia is one of the most beautiful villages on the island. Built where the tallest mountain on Thassos cast its shadow, offers a beautiful green landscape with lush vegetation. The lovers of climbing will definitely find an ideal path to the lush green mountains and lead to the conquest of the highest peak named Ypsario (1203m). One of the most important sights of the village is the museum of the famous sculptor Polygnotos Vagi which was created in honour of the place of his origin. 2-3km away from Potamia is Skala Potamia that constitutes the seaside village. Surrounded by beautiful beaches and light blue sea attracts thousands of tourists every summer. The gulf of Skala Potamia is one of the most beautiful of the island because of its unique combination of sea and vegetation, which in many places reaches the shore. The beach lies in a distance of about 200m and you may find sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, as well as numerous water sports for those who love adventure. At the small port of Skala Potamia, the visitor will have the chance to admire the imposing building of Tarsanas which was built by Mount Athos monks.
