Upon our arrival, the gentleman who greeted us was unaware of our booking and was rather unpleasant. For several days after 9 PM, there was no hot water. The bed linens and towels were not changed even once during our 10-night stay. Fortunately, we had brought some from home.

The accommodation was pleasant, conveniently located near the beach and close to the markets. The hosts were kind and hospitable.

I am very satisfied; the location is excellent.

The four-person studio is quite adequate. The beach is just a few meters away and there are sun loungers available from the accommodation. The entrance to the sea is rocky and a bit challenging, but this lasts only for the first two meters, after which there is a long sandy shallow. The sea is clear and pristine. It is not far from the City Beach and the center, nor from the Golden Beach. Right next door is the best gyros place, Molos. The studio welcomed us clean and tidy, and the owner was pleasant. The child had two nighttime accidents, and they changed the bedding without any issues. It seems that they change the bedding and towels upon request. The beach in front of the studio is a few meters away and rocky, and the same goes for the entrance to the sea, but just two meters in, there is sand. Two meters from the window is a promenade, and until midnight, people stroll and make noise, so sleeping is difficult unless the windows are closed and the air conditioning is turned on.

We stayed from July 24 to August 4, and everything was wonderful for the price you get on Thassos in the middle of the season, just 3 meters from the beach. After reading the comments, I truly believed that I would receive the opposite of what I expected. At the sea, the rooms serve us for sleeping; yes, there is air conditioning, but it is not included in the price, yet the hosts are very kind and open to any kind of arrangement. If you want a hotel with daily linen changes and impeccable hygiene, rent canopies by the pool so your little feet don't dirty the towels with sand. We are currently arranging to vacation with them again. I should note that there were a total of 3 families with 5 children, and this is the overall impression of 11 people.

This is a wonderful place with an excellent location and a very gracious host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will definitely return!!!

A lovely apartment, pristine and tranquil. Directly in front of the accommodation lies the sea, offering a magnificent view. The owner is a courteous young gentleman. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't speak much about the comfort, as I consciously chose a smaller accommodation unit for the stunning view. Everything in the pictures accurately represents this studio (there is one extra picture). The location is excellent. The house is neglected, the terrace doors creak, serving as an alarm system. The locks are from the '80s. The hygiene is dreadful, with cobwebs, dust, and the toilet is in poor condition. We received a change of bed linen on the seventh day, while the Romanians got theirs on the third. The air conditioning unit is included in the price, but not the remote control, which you cannot obtain due to a power issue lasting all ten days. There is a lack of hospitality even within the first five minutes of arrival. The owner and his son are present non-stop and appear rather grumpy, which can be uncomfortable at times.

This accommodation is a blend of an excellent location and poor service. Situated right on the "promenade" next to the beginning of the golden beach, it offers a splendid view from the terrace and the sound of the sea that drowns out almost all potential noise from taverns, the promenade, and passing vehicles. Sleeping is quite pleasant... that is, it would be if the beds were decent, but more on that in the next paragraph. The man and woman you encounter here are friendly, but not particularly talkative. Their son, who apparently runs the business, was unaware of our arrival, but fortunately, the room was ready. We saw him when we arrived, handed over the money, and never saw him again. The room was not the cleanest; sand in the shower, someone else's hair in the sink, and a heavy, thick layer of dust on the semi-functional lamps above the bed indicate a lack of concern for hygiene. There are no dishwashing liquids or sponges. Everything is up to you, and you will likely spend your first moments in this accommodation trying to bring it into some semblance of order (we also bought a few light bulbs to replace the faulty or non-existent ones to ensure everything was as it should be). The worst aspect is the bed; you will sleep as if on tree roots. We flipped the mattress, but it helped very little. The bed is actually built-in, lacking slats, which contributes to its hardness. Additionally, since it is built-in, you can easily bump your head on the corner due to the cramped space, and don’t expect to fit suitcases or anything similar underneath the bed. The description of room number 7 is not entirely accurate; it is indeed small and cramped, but the real issue is the almost complete lack of storage space. There is one wardrobe, and that's it, so if you don’t have many belongings or plan to keep them in piles or in your car, this is the place for you. There is room for shelves on the walls and dividers at the bottom of the wardrobe that would certainly help, as well as a regular bed instead of a built-in one... The terrace is small but quite acceptable, and if rain is not anticipated, you can move some things onto it. There are plenty of nearby taverns, and they are quite diverse (avoid Captain at all costs; Nautilus, however, is not bad), and the location is excellent as a base for exploring the south and north of the island, although nothing is far away, and the roads are excellent (except for a few dirt paths leading to more secluded beaches). When the northeast wind blows, it can be quite chilly since nothing breathes, so bring an extra blanket just in case. Overall, a good location that could become excellent with a little effort; as it stands, there is too much work for very little advantage. Avoid room number 7 if you have even one suitcase of belongings.

My parents stayed in this apartment. The location is good, the apartment was found to be clean, but they NEVER cleaned it, nor did they change the linens and towels! Cobwebs were everywhere... My mother cleaned every day and took the trash down. In 11 days, they received 2 large and 2 small towels. The WiFi is good. The price-quality ratio is acceptable, but only because prices in other apartments are significantly higher.

Situated by the sea, it offers everything you need at a reasonable price.

Our stay at Alexander Studios was truly delightful. We had all the essential amenities for a successful holiday. The place was clean, featuring a comfortable and spacious bed (sufficient for two adults and one child), a kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances, and the location was just 2 minutes from the center and 10 minutes from Golden Beach. I highly recommend this venue for a family vacation.

Apartment No. 5 is a solid two-bedroom accommodation for a family of three by the seaside, featuring a splendid terrace of about 15 square meters that offers an excellent view of the mountains as well as the sea (which is not mentioned in the description). The main room is spacious enough for two (like a studio with a double bed and a small terrace), while the additional room serves as both a kitchen and a children's room (one bed, a stove, a refrigerator, a sink, and around 2 square meters of free space - there were four of us, and one child slept in a portable crib in that room, leaving enough space for the kids to play). Aesthetics are not the strong suit of this accommodation: the paneling on the ceiling, which is lower in the kitchen than in the rest of the accommodation, creates an impression of darkness; the furniture is wooden and dark-colored; the bathroom is literally the most basic possible, without a shower cabin or at least a curtain (making it inevitably wet after showering). However, everything in the apartment functions well, nothing is worn out, wobbly, or broken. The faucets work properly, the refrigerator is excellent, the stove is fast and well-maintained, all lights function, and the windows and doors are aluminum. The beds are NEW and absolutely comfortable - we slept like babies! We had three main complaints: 1. Hygiene: we were welcomed by an unfortunate apartment (with grime in the corners and behind the refrigerator), with quite a bit of cobwebs in the corners, and a curtain that was not working at that moment (fixed the next day). Cleaning and changing towels was only done on the fifth day! 2. Noise: the doors are thin, and everything can be heard throughout the entire floor - walking, running, banging doors, arguing, laughing.. 3. The terrace, in all its size, lacks visual-protective elements: a awning/pergola/sunshade or some vine as a canopy would provide shade in the afternoon (south and west) and offer a bit of privacy from the neighboring two-story house which is about 10 meters to the south (and which is not visible in the accommodation pictures - a minus for Nikana! :-p ) An additional drawback of the accommodation is the owner, who, although a good person, is probably going through a tough life phase and is not overly interested in resolving the aforementioned issues. The only positive in the entire story is that in response to our complaints, he reduced the price by about a hundred euros (for ten days), which ultimately was a more realistic value for such accommodation..
