Voulitsa beach is one of the beaches on Athos, which is located just a few minutes’ drive from Nea Roda, less than 2 km to be exact.

It is about the bay where the beach bar of the same name is located. There are deckchairs and umbrellas on the beach, which you can use for free if you order a drink from the bar. There are also canopies for an additional fee, and in the far right part of the bay, looking towards the sea, there is a part where you can freely place your things and an umbrella.

The beach is sandy, with slightly coarser sand both in the water and on the shore. The depth is gradual, and the sea is crystal clear and transparent.

In the hinterland of the beach there is also a parking space, which is quite sufficient. There is no natural shade on the beach, and there are rocks at the ends of the bay, so it can be interesting for diving fans. Stones and some rocks can be found along the beach, but only in a few places, but this will not spoil your experience or entering the water.

We saw a lot of families with children on this beach, so if you go on vacation with the little ones, they will definitely find company here.

As Athos is not such a popular destination, even in the height of the season, this beach should not be crowded. There are a lot of forests and greenery around the beach, and even though it is big, you get the impression that it is tucked away.

In the bar, in addition to drinks, you can order some food, and as part of it, there are also showers and cabins as well as toilets that are available to all visitors.
