Food supply in Parga

In Parga there are no bigger supermarkets but on the other hand there is a number of smaller shops and markets that offer different products so you will be able to buy all the necessities during your stay in this town.

Based on opinions of most tourists the most affordable supermarket is Arista located close to the church. Here you can buy fresh meat, but also you can find it in butcher shops. On Monday and Friday is open a flee market in the street behind the church where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables, olives and olive oil, spices and homemade products with more affordable prices than in stores.

In Parga there are a few butcher shops and bakeries. Supermarket Dallas is also well-supplied. The prices in Parga are approximately 10-20% higher than in other places in North of Greece. The same thing goes for bakeries, taverns and coffee shops.

The closest supermarket from the chain Lidl is located close to Igoumenitsa, about 45km from Parga and the other one is close to Preveza, 60km from Parga. In Igoumenitsa there are also supermarkets Marinopoulos, Ab and Diellas.
