Spasmata Beach is located in Minia (Minies) about 6km from Argostoli, 4km from Lassi and next to the only airport in Kefalonia.

The beach is very nice, with fine sand and gravel. The sea is crystal clear with a gradual entrance to the water. It is about 700m long and 15-30m wide.

Most of the beach is free and intended for tourists who have their equipment for the beach, while there is also a part for tourists who want to spend their day at the beach bar with deck chairs and parasols. In addition to the beach bar, there is a tavern as well as a place for renting water sports equipment. Since there are rocky parts on the beach, this beach is great for both snorkeling and wildlife enthusiasts, as there are marked and protected turtle nests on the beach.

The disadvantages of Spasmata Beach are the lack of larger parking near the beach, so parking is possible in the closest street and vicinity of the airport - although a very interesting sight to see a large plane passing low above the beach, it can still be noisy. Fortunately, the frequency of flights from the airport is not too high.

Spasmata Beach is an ideal choice for families with young children, couples and snorkeling fans.
