Skala Sotiros city beach
It is a small, sandy, organized beach. Fine sand on the shore and in the water. The depth gradually increases, so the beach is suitable for children.
From this beach are the most beautiful sunsets on Thassos, people say.
The beach is very decent and usable for days when you do not want to sit in the car and go around the other beaches for which Thassos is known, but can also be used during the entire stay on the island unless you prefer an active vacation.
On the beach there are umbrellas and sunbeds which are free of charge if you order a drink, but there are also large sunbeds with baldachins.
In the back of the beach there’s an excellent restaurant and a coffee bar with quiet music.

25.06.-05.07.2013. Zaista pristojna plaza, pescana, u prvih 2m ulaska u vodu kamencici koji ne smetaju nogama, zatim pesak i plicak pa zatim krece dubina. Cista i bistra voda bez trave, prelepi zalasci sunca, dugo trajanje dana, u ovom periodu nikada vise od 50-ak ljudi na plazi i samim tim cisto. U levom delu plaze pri kraju malo dublje i pojas sa jezevima. Nikada sa letovanja nismo vratili vise skoljki, puzica i zvezda nego ove godine, moja cerka je non-stop ronila i izvlacila sa relativno male dubine solidno velike i lepe primerke kakvi se prodaju u kompletima. Ne znam da li je Skala nastala na ovom mestu zbog ovako bogatog morskog sveta i da li su i ostale Skale ovako plodne ili je bila takva godina da je more nanelo svega blize obali, ali za strpljenje moje cerke i dobro oko se isplatilo.
