The furniture had a certain scent, uff, a smell I can't quite describe, not overwhelming. Especially the kitchen.

We stayed at the accommodation from August 9th to 19th. The price-to-quality ratio is very good. The owner is exceptionally kind, the courtyard is beautiful, and towels are changed every two to three days, while the bed linens are changed halfway through our stay. The furniture is not luxurious, but the most important thing is that everything is clean. We had breakfast there, but we wouldn’t do that next time as the offerings were monotonous.

We booked an apartment but received a studio, which is essentially a large room divided by a wooden panel. The beds are old and creak. The cleanliness is commendable, with regular changes of towels and bed linens. All praise for maintaining hygiene.

The smaller hotel, or rather a collection of villas, is located immediately upon entering Skala Sotiros. It is not marked, but the restaurant/taverna is right next to the street, the first establishment you will encounter, so you won't miss it. Next to it, you turn and follow the street to the sea and the parking area, which is situated on the lower side of the hotel, in a courtyard filled with olive trees, ensuring that you will always have shade. The hosts are friendly, unobtrusive, and pleasant, just like the hotel itself. The courtyard is abundant with olive trees and greenery, providing ample shade for sun loungers around the pool. The pool is decent, not large, and the water is warm, making it pleasant for occasional swimming, mostly used by children. There is also a bar serving drinks and ice cream. The smaller beach is 50 meters away, while the town beach is about 200 meters distant. There are bars, as well as spots for towels. The water is clear and beautiful. The sun sets around 8:30 PM, allowing you to fully enjoy afternoon swimming. The restaurant/taverna offers excellent food, large portions, reasonable prices, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. In the village, there is a longer beach with a few more establishments, and on the main street, you will find a shop, a gyros place, and a bakery. This location serves as an excellent base for exploring and visiting the beaches on the western side of the island. Overall, it offers a great balance of price, hospitality, location, amenities, and quality.

The hotel was exceptional, particularly its location and the accessibility to nearby beaches. The beach in front was not particularly impressive, yet it served its purpose. The hotel amenities are somewhat outdated and small, especially the kitchen.

Dear Sir/Madam, I had reserved a stay at Hotel Vranas, but instead, we were accommodated in a different establishment under a completely different name (Monemvas). The location of the property, parking, and the courtyard with a pool were all satisfactory, neat, clean, and well-maintained. However, the room was furnished with furniture from the last century, everything creaked and was on the verge of collapse. The kitchen consisted of a single stove, and the extractor fan emitted the aroma of food from neighboring rooms. There was no kitchenware, just three glasses and three cups. Four of us stayed in the room. There were no pots, pans, cutlery, or anything else. It is a disgrace and a shame for a daily rate of 73 euros. How is it possible that not even the most basic kitchen equipment can be provided? Oh, and I must not forget the bathroom, which is a disgrace for showering, a space measuring 60 x 60, with a curtain from the Tito era. It is below any acceptable standard. Honestly, after the first night, I wanted to leave the accommodation, but my wife calmed me down, assuring me that we would somehow endure. I believe that a vacation should not be something one merely "endures."

Hotel Vranas exceeded all our expectations. We had an apartment on the upper floor with a stunning view of the sea. Parking is available in the olive groves in front of the hotel. The beach in front of the hotel is small, but it can be used if you do not plan to drive to a more popular one. The pool is clean and attractive. The hostess is kind, and hygiene is of a high standard, with room cleaning and towel changes every two days. The breakfast was satisfactory. It was served buffet style. Every morning there was milk, two types of juice, tea, coffee, cornflakes, chocolate balls, two types of salami, cheese, eggs (the preparation method varied), standard spreads for bread (butter, honey, jams), two to three types of pastries, and sweets. It might be unusual that there were no feta and olives, as that is a tradition in Greece, but I do not wish to complain about it. All in all, we are very satisfied.

Excellent accommodation, superb location... The owner is very kind and always accommodates every request. Only words of praise and all recommendations.

Hotel Vranas fully met our expectations. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, featuring a lovely terrace and an even more beautiful garden where the children particularly enjoyed themselves.

The hotel possesses far greater potential than what is currently offered. It is necessary to slightly change the furniture in the rooms and adapt the courtyard for children, as the existing children's furnishings have deteriorated.

The accommodation deserves high praise. The courtyard, pool, and shade offer a true retreat. The sandy beach is located not far from the accommodation (to the left of the hotel when facing the sea). The hostess is exceptionally kind and always accommodating to any needs you may have. The cleaner tirelessly maintains cleanliness throughout the day. Bed linens and towels are changed every three days. There are no negative aspects except for a few minor details, such as an abundance of mosquitoes (the room has mosquito nets, so you are protected) and the 'weaker' beds (likely due to their age, they creak with even the slightest movement).

A very modest accommodation with old furniture, featuring small-sized rooms. The terraces cannot accommodate a family of four. The yard is lovely, entirely shaded by olive trees. A decent swimming pool. Proximity to the beach.

Everything was excellent. For the second consecutive year, we have stayed in this accommodation, and I hope we will return again.

What particularly impressed me about the hotel was that towels, bed linens, and room cleaning are done every two days. A lovely beach is just a ten-minute walk from the hotel. The courtyard is beautiful, and the pool is excellent for entertaining the children before heading to the beach. Internet access is available only in the courtyard, next to the pool, which is an advantage if you wish to truly disconnect from your devices.

I stayed at Villa Vranas from June 17 to June 27 with my husband and our 11-year-old daughter, and we almost ended up without accommodation due to the owner's extreme rudeness. When making the reservation, I asked Nikana if there was a possibility for the apartment to be on a higher floor rather than on the ground floor, and I received a positive response, along with a voucher indicating "1st floor." Upon our arrival, the girl working there showed us to the apartment. Since the apartment did not have a separate room as stated, we inquired if there was an apartment with a separate room and were told that nothing else was available. Given that the apartment was nice, we did not make a fuss. We unpacked and were preparing to head to the beach when someone (we later realized it was the owner) knocked on the door. She informed us that this was not our apartment and that we had to leave and move to another one. We requested to see the other apartment first, considering we had unpacked all our things. She angrily took us to show us an apartment on the GROUND FLOOR. We attempted to explain to her that we had requested an apartment on the upper floor, not on the ground floor, and she shouted back that this was the first floor and we could leave if we didn't want that apartment. When I said I would call Nikana to resolve the issue, I was met with "Now I won't issue you anything!" Such professional behavior from the owner! To add to this, she had a pregnant woman in her eighth month and an 11-year-old child in front of her, making words about the situation unnecessary! Fortunately, the owner of the villa is a normal and very kind person, and with his help and Nikana's assistance, the problem was resolved and we remained in the apartment. As for the other aspects of the villa, they are commendable. The apartment was cleaned 8 times over 10 days, towels were replaced, the pool was clean, and the surroundings were very nice and peaceful. The villa's location for exploring the island is perfect. There is a lovely city beach nearby with a few cafes. The only downside is the very poor wifi.

In Vranas, I visited in August with my husband and two children. The accommodation is decent, tidy, and surrounded by beautiful greenery, olive groves, and flowers. In front, there is a pool, which is particularly interesting for the children, considering that the place itself lacks any events. It is a perfect spot for relaxation. I will likely visit Vranas again.

We vacationed on Thassos for the first time, and thus at the Vranas hotel, my husband, our ten-year-old daughter, and our seven-year-old son, during the period from June 25 to July 5, 2013. A significant part of our enchantment with Thassos stemmed from our stay in this beautiful setting, where we were enclosed by a tall living fence, isolated in a green oasis of ancient olive trees, some palms, camellias, flowers, and lawns. Plenty of shade (even for the car, under the old olive tree, of course), but also spots for sunbathing, and a pool of solid size, which served not only the children's joys but also helped me stay in shape and enjoy when we returned from the beach. The pool bar offered discreet music, mostly Greek, soft and pleasant. The staff was completely relaxed, friendly, and unobtrusive. I asked Nikana if it was possible for the view from the terrace to be either towards the sea or towards the greenery, and we received both. I don't know if she was responsible for that or if it was a coincidence, but it was wonderful in any case, just like everything on this site, which is of great help and truthful, from the moment we arrived in Thassos, through accommodation to guidance for exploring the island. We are a family that wakes up early and goes to the beach twice a day, so we enjoyed all the peace of this world and avoided any potential crowds and noise, because when we are at the beach, others are just waking up, and when we return, most have left or are heading to the beach. Noise is possible and occurred on two occasions when it bothered us, especially when we arrived exhausted; some small children were making noise until 12 or 1 instead of being put to sleep by their parents, and in the evenings before leaving when some Greek guests were chatting at the bar until 1. It was extremely meaningful to me that the terrace was shaded during the hours from 11:30 to 16:00 when we were in the apartment, even though it is on the western side, meaning only a small part of it gets sun at that time, allowing for uninterrupted lunch and relaxation, and there is enough space for that inside as well. An olive branch was a constant visitor to the terrace. The apartment was cleaned, and the bedding was changed every three days. The bar in our apartment had an excellent refrigerator, and I also liked the speed of the burners.

During our stay at the Vranas establishment, my husband and I, along with our two sons aged 16 and 14, were accompanied by friends and their 16-year-old son. We spent our vacation exactly as we had envisioned. For accommodation, we turned to the Nikana agency upon the recommendation of our friends from Banja Luka. Our recommendation for guests visiting Thassos: reach out to the Nikana agency, express your desires, and with the help of their friendly staff, you will have Thassos at your fingertips, along with precise advice on how to get there and what to visit. Hotel Vranas is a place where you will not be disturbed during your vacation, and you will enjoy the shade of olive trees by the pool and the nearby beach. The owner’s attentiveness, kindness, and unobtrusiveness certainly contribute to a positive impression. We had a tidy apartment, regular linen changes, clean towels, and received everything we requested. This is a great location for accommodation and exploring Thassos, especially for those looking to escape the constant noise. This is an example of a wonderful vacation for truly little money. We visited many beautiful beaches, with Golden Beach being a standout. We, along with our friends, will recommend both the Nikana agency and Hotel Vranas. This was our third vacation in Greece, alongside Crete and Hanioti, and we will certainly return. We visited the Nikana agency in Potos and were delighted by the genuinely kind staff.

The stay began in early June. A family of four with two small children. The total cost of accommodation for eight nights was 78 EUR. For that amount, the accommodation is top-notch, and if you are traveling by your own vehicle and visiting the beaches of Pachis or Glifoneri daily, I believe it is hard to find anything of such quality and affordability.

We returned from Thassos a week ago and are still gathering our impressions. We stayed at the Vranas Hotel and we are extremely satisfied with everything. I stayed with my wife and our two small children from July 1st to 20th, 2012. The accommodation was satisfactory—spacious and clean. The hosts were unobtrusive but somewhat slow in addressing issues with the lodging. Most guests were families with children, making the area around the pool lively, which could sometimes be a bit noisy, especially for guests whose apartments faced the pool. Wireless internet was rarely available due to weak signal. We visited nearly all the beaches on the eastern side and part of the western side, with our favorite being MERMERNA! It is worth going back again.

I stayed at Villa Vranas with my husband and daughters (10 and 16 years old) from August 5 to August 15, 2012. We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Before making the reservation, we thoroughly read everything that Nikana wrote about the accommodation, and it was all completely accurate. Some issues that previous visitors complained about, we did not notice; on the contrary. Someone mentioned that cleaning and changing bed linens were merely theoretical concepts, but our studio was cleaned every day, and bed linens and towels were changed twice during our stay. The hotel, considering it is categorized with two stars, is quite comfortable; the furniture is rather modest, but we did not come on vacation to sit in the apartment, so that was not important to us. The beach, which is said to be unusable, was perfectly usable for the days we did not want to go elsewhere; the access to it is fine, there is a functional shower, and it is located 20 meters from the villa. The garden in front of the villa is BEAUTIFUL, full of greenery, the pool has fresh water and is clean. Villa Vranas will likely see us again!

During the period from July 15 to July 25, 2012, I vacationed at this hotel with my husband and two daughters (8 and 4 years old). Unlike previous comments, we have only words of praise. The rooms are spacious, everything functioned perfectly, during our ten-day stay, the linens were changed three times, towels were changed daily, and the room and terrace were cleaned every day, along with regular garbage disposal. The hotel is in an excellent location, allowing you to choose each day whether to head towards Limenas to visit Pahis Beach, Marble Beach, or Golden Beach, or to go towards Potos to explore all the beautiful beaches and places on that side. If you prefer not to drive, the town beach is excellent, wide enough, and you can choose to use the sunbeds and umbrella at the café (with two drinks, you can use them all day) or bring your own umbrella, towels, and sunbeds. The water is warm, clear, alternately shallow and deep, and the most beautiful part is that the sun sets at 8:30 PM local time. Right on the beach, there is a restaurant, a gyros place, a bakery, and a shop. It is a small place with not many amenities, but ideal for relaxation and rest, perfect for children (there were at least fifteen kids in the hotel who had a wonderful time in the evenings), and not too far from the lively town of Potos if you get 'tired' of peace and quiet. We will definitely return to Thassos, and most likely to this accommodation as well.

We were very pleased with Hotel Vranas, located by the sea and next to olive groves, featuring a spacious courtyard and parking, along with a large pool, nestled in the tranquility of the small town of Skala Sotiros. The apartment was sufficiently spacious, with ample storage for our belongings, and a lovely terrace (we had a view of the sea!), and we were satisfied with its comfort. The children found it very entertaining to use the pool, sun loungers, and play equipment in the courtyard, and they especially enjoyed socializing with the resident cats and the little yellow house named Beti, who always cheerfully invited them to play. We happily lounged by the pool and in front of the bar, in the shade, enjoying the excellent nes coffee that the hostess prepared for us. From the parking lot, you can step directly onto the beach, where you can relish the beautiful sunsets, and just a five-minute walk away is a truly excellent beach of the town itself, which proved very convenient when we weren't in the mood to wander around the island. That beach was always calm, with clean and warm water. We also appreciated that it wasn't crowded, the bottom is mostly sandy, with a nice depth suitable for children in a wide area, and there are also shells to be found.

In July 2012, my husband and I stayed at Villa Vranas with our three-year-old son. The accommodation is truly exceptional. The villas are located right next to the main road, but the rooms face the courtyard, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. The courtyard is beautiful, and the children always have a great time there. I believe it is ideal for children aged 4 to 12, as they easily find companionship, are independent, and enjoy a safe environment. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The hosts are friendly and unobtrusive. There is ample parking for all guests, and within 5 to 15 minutes of driving, you can visit most of the beautiful beaches (except for Paradiza, which is a 45-minute drive - excellent, and Alikija, which is 40 minutes - disappointing). The location is small and tranquil. There are two shops, a bakery, a confectionery, two gyros bars, and a few restaurants. Everything is nearby. The sea is just 50 meters from the villa, but hardly anyone swims there; the city beach is a 5-minute walk away. It is well-kept, the water is warm, the entrance is pebbly, shallow then deep, followed by a long sandy shallow area. The water is warm, although there are occasionally a few algae, but very few. I highly recommend it!

Our family stayed at Hotel Vranas from June 20 to June 30, 2012. Two adults and three young children. We chose the perfect place for what we desired: tranquility and complete relaxation. Given that the terrace overlooks the pool, we could easily let the children swim unsupervised while we kept an eye on them from the terrace (by the way, they are excellent swimmers!). The location is indeed small and peaceful, but we drove to explore other places on Thassos every day. Yet, in the evenings, at night, and in the mornings, we reveled in the perfect serenity that this little town offers. The first seven days were flawless, but then the season gradually began, and the hotel started to fill up, which diminished our privacy while sitting on the terrace. Would we go back to Thassos? Definitely YES! Would we visit Skala Sotiros? YES! Would we return to Hotel Vranas? With a few adjustments, we probably would. After all, we spend relatively little time in the apartment, and the beautiful courtyard, pool, and proximity to the sea that this hotel offers would ultimately prevail. I spent my vacation with my 1.5-year-old daughter. The accommodation features a pool, slides, swings in the yard, a beautifully arranged garden, attentive and unobtrusive hosts, and satisfactory hygiene in the apartments. There is a promenade by the sea right in front of the villa, and it’s just a 5-minute drive to perhaps the most beautiful beach - Pachis beach, as well as the largest supermarket on Thassos. The village offers excellent gyros.

In July 2010, I vacationed with my family (husband and son) at Vranas Apartments in Skala Sotira. From the moment we arrived at the apartment complex, we were enchanted by its appearance and hospitality. The lovely courtyard with pools for adults and children, a bar by the pool, a playground for kids, all beautifully integrated with plenty of greenery around, could not leave anyone indifferent. The apartment was truly superb, exactly what we were looking for. It consisted of two rooms (a bedroom and a space with a kitchen, which was nicely equipped, as well as another sleeping area), in addition to a bathroom and a large terrace with a view of the sea. The sea was literally 30 meters from the accommodation. Right there, two small beaches often felt like they were exclusively yours, they were clean and quite decent. The main, larger beach is about a 5-minute walk along the seaside promenade. Honestly, we mostly swam at those two small beaches, as it was more practical with a small child. There were a few smaller shops and bakeries nearby (a few minutes' walk), reasonably equipped but with rather high prices, so I recommend doing your shopping in a larger town. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the whole island, and it would truly be a shame not to explore it as much as possible while you are there. There are many beautiful beaches, places for walking, and enjoying. All in all, it was a vacation we will remember fondly, and we will definitely return to Thassos because of that experience.

I hope to answer all your questions, as everything is in English. The accommodation is more than satisfactory, not only because of the pool and the children's park but also due to its proximity to the shore (just 10 meters) and the parking, which can be a significant issue on Thassos. At any moment, you can return to your room within 2 minutes for any reason (which is the biggest concern for most families with small children). The owners (and residents) are exceptionally honest, so you don’t need to carry your belongings from the beach with you. Regarding cleanliness - you go to the beach, and when you return, every third day you find a clean room and fresh linens waiting for you. Within a hundred meters, there is a market where you can find everything you need for living, and within the villa, there is a restaurant offering fast and cooked meals. Prices are affordable for every budget, so anyone who enjoys Greek cuisine is welcome. The promenade along the beach is well-maintained all along its length. Nearby is Prinos (where there is also a market that gives you the feeling of being in Serbia) and a Health Center. In any case, if you decide on Thassos, be sure to visit all the beaches (but be cautious when you want to go to Marble Beach - the road is terrible). When you go out for an evening stroll, pay attention to the sea! You might even see a dolphin enjoying a swim as the sun sets!

This year, we vacationed on Thassos for the third time, from June 26 to July 15. In the first two years, we stayed in Thassos, but this year we were at Villa Vranas in Skala Sotiri. We were accompanied by two other families (five children in total). The villa features a spacious and beautifully arranged yard, a pool, and a bar. The hosts are very kind and unobtrusive. The hygiene is excellent, and the pool is well-maintained. The only downside is that the second room in the apartments lacks natural ventilation, but since we mostly just spend the night in the apartment, it didn't bother us much. The air conditioning is included in the price, allowing us to cool the room. The village itself is small. The beach is about a ten-minute walk away. There is a restaurant, ice cream, sun loungers, and straw umbrellas that are free of charge if you order a drink at the restaurant. A bakery and a mini market are also within the same distance. We come by car every year, so in that case, it doesn't matter much where you are staying. It is certainly a pity to come and not explore the island. The island has plenty of beaches, and everyone can find something to their liking.

During our vacation in 2010, my wife and I were accompanied by our two children, aged 3 and 16. The apartments were nearly new, immaculate, and the garden was perfectly arranged. There was a pool with a bar and tables in the shade, and next to it was a street where parking was always available. Within the complex, there was also a restaurant. If you continue down that street leading to the sea, you reach an area that is not particularly suitable for swimming, especially with small children, so after a 5-6 minute walk towards the "center" of Skala Sotiros, you arrive at the "town beach." We typically went there in the morning, and after lunch and in the evening, we returned to Villa Vranas, where we enjoyed swimming in the pool until nightfall. The children could sleep, and the room was available for all other needs. The bar was reasonably priced. I required wireless internet for work, which, to be honest, I couldn't use from the room, but it worked perfectly from the garden while I lounged in a deck chair.

This year, we stayed at Villa Vranas in July, as a family with two small children. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and pleasant, and the hostess who welcomed us was very kind. Overall, the impression is extremely positive. I would definitely recommend this place to families with small children due to the tranquility during the night, as the hotel is set back from the main road and has a spacious yard. The only drawback is that the beach right in front of the apartments is not maintained, so one has to walk a bit to reach the main beach in the area. The furniture in the apartments is quite decent, and the terrace is beautiful and spacious, at least in our case. I believe all the apartments are similar. The hotel is located in a lovely area, about ten to fifteen minutes' walk to the bakery and market, and the same distance to the promenade, or the small marina.

I spent my vacation with family, and the accommodation was exceptionally satisfying; everything was perfect. My only advice for anyone going to Thassos is to travel by car and enjoy all its beauties and charms.

We vacationed with family at Villa Vranas for two consecutive years, 2010 and 2011. The accommodation is perfect for a peaceful family holiday; the hosts are exceptionally kind and accommodating. Bed linens and towels are changed every two to three days or as needed, everything is clean and tidy, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The only downside, if I may say so, is the poor ventilation in the part of the apartment behind the partition and the bathroom. We successfully resolved this issue with the air conditioning, so it didn't pose a significant problem for us. We enjoyed evening barbecues while the children played and socialized, as the yard is large and beautiful. We had no need to explore the island since we met all our needs in the town or in Prinos. Parking is available in the neighboring yard, spacious with the option to wash vehicles. Our children are school-aged, between 8 and 14 years old, and there were about fifteen children in shifts, all of whom got along splendidly and had fun. The advantage of a small town and the fact that the villa is located by the coast is the freedom it offers to children. We also swam at the beach in front of the villa; the sea is clean, and it is a real shame that the beach is not maintained. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas, but it is completely pleasant for afternoon or morning sunbathing and swimming for those who are not dependent on sunbeds. The local beach is two hundred meters from the villa and is not overly distant, a lovely walk along the sea. However, we and most guests this summer had a problem with the owner of the Napoleon café, a certain Mr. Leo, who is exceedingly unfriendly and rude. The usual principle that applies in most of Greece on beaches, that entry and use of sunbeds and umbrellas is free with a purchased drink at the café, he has rendered absurd. In order to use the sunbeds and umbrellas, Mr. Leo harassed guests to order new drinks or coffees every hour or two, with the average price being three euros (coffee, beer, or juice). If new guests appear on the beach and you are not inclined to reorder drinks, he politely asks you to leave. Unfortunately, the local beach is only partially maintained; there are twelve large umbrellas, all located right in front of the Napoleon café, which Mr. Leo exploits to the maximum. This summer, there were several unpleasant scenes between him and guests from Serbia, both from Villa Vranas and those accommodated at Janis. Otherwise, the only unpleasant memory for us and our friends from our vacation on Thassos is Mr. Leo and his harassment of guests. The bakery in the town is well-stocked, and the staff is friendly; the owner of the market in the center is also very kind, and the market is reasonably equipped and not expensive. Gyros and food are the best and most affordable at the small family-run and very charming restaurant Faros on the coast, between Villa Vranas and the local beach. We absolutely loved the place and give it our highest recommendations.

Vila Vranas is a splendid destination for families with young children arriving by car. The yard is lush with greenery, meticulously maintained, and features two pools - one larger and one smaller with a jacuzzi. There is also a bar by the pool. The apartments are clean and overlook the yard and the sea. Although the apartments are about 50 meters from the sea, it is preferable to visit the city beach, which is located approximately 200 meters away.

In Villa Vranas in Skala Sotiros, I spent two consecutive summers with my family and friends, from June 20 to July 1 in 2010 and 2011. In the first year, 2010, we were accompanied by two other families, and there was no one from Serbia in the villa except for us. This year, the situation was different; there were more of our people. Skala Sotiros is a small place on the western side of Thassos, about 20 km from the town of Thassos, known for its beautiful sunsets over the sea. It has one bakery, which is about 200 meters from the villa, two supermarkets, one across from the bakery, and the other closer to Villa Vranas. In Skala Sotiros, there are a few restaurants, excellent gyros and souvlaki, as well as a lovely promenade by the sea. Villa Vranas is located below the main road, featuring a large courtyard with a pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, and plenty of shade, allowing one to enjoy the outdoors even during the hottest part of the day. The apartments are four-bed, with views of the sea or the courtyard, everything is tidy and clean, linens and towels are changed regularly, I don’t know exactly how often, everything is neat and the entire building smells delightful (probably from cleaning products), and next to the entrance, there is beautiful flowering with tiny white flowers that smell wonderful. Within Villa Vranas, there is a restaurant where you can pay for breakfast and dinner. The place itself is tranquil, although we were there in June, which suited us just fine, as there was no noise or special events, making it ideal for families with small children, while those with slightly older children may find it boring. If someone is looking to shop, this is not the place for them, nor for those who enjoy nightlife and wild parties. The beach is nothing special, one is right in front of the villa, it is not well-maintained, but the water is crystal clear and perfect for enjoyment. A little further away, there is an organized beach with umbrellas and sunbeds, but we didn’t go there, as there was no need. Those are my impressions of Skala Sotiros; we had a wonderful time. For the first time in a long while, I could truly relax beside my children, as they also enjoyed the sea, pool, toys, and swings in the courtyard, so they would fall asleep in almost a sitting position in the evening.
