Loutrou Beach Bungalows is an accommodation located in Kinira, between Skala Potamia and Paradise beach. The accommodation is right on the beach, and has a large yard with shade and a swimming pool. The location is fantastic. Peace is guaranteed and numerous good beaches are nearby. The beach in front of the bungalow is partly sandy and partly rocky, but it is completely usable.
Loutrou is located about 8km from the Skala Potamia and about twenty kilometers from Limenas.
Bungalows are only 1km away from Paradise beach, one of the best beaches on the island, according to tourists.
The whole complex lies on a beach that you can access directly from your bungalows. It is surrounded by pine trees and other trees that make the impression like you are at the end of the world but with all the benefits that a hotel can offer and make your holiday perfect. In the large yard (2,2ha) there is a pool with a bar and a restaurant, with variety of cocktails for which the bar is well-known, to traditional dishes from Greek cuisine and fish specialties.
The hotel complex consists of bungalows with a capacity of 2-5 people, but there are also apartments that are an excellent solution for families with children. Children aged under two years of age stay free of charge in a double room, sharing bed with parents.
When you enter in the complex, firstly you will see the small houses that are not available for internet reservations. Just below those houses, if you continue to go towards the reception and the beach, there is an owner’s house in which one only one quintuple room (28-30m2), on the ground floor, is available for internet reservations. In front of it there is a common sitting area. This unit is consisted of three standard single beds and bunk beds (1,80m), so five members family can stay here. There are also three rooms available in the owner’s house: one double with two single beds, one triple with three single beds and one quadruple with four single beds. They are located on the ground floor, next to the fifth house from the sea, and share a common veranda and hallway. Although they do not have private verandas, everything else is independent - each has its own bathroom, refrigerator, internet, TV, mosquito nets and other equipment.
After this house, on the left side, you will see one more complex of five bungalows, located one behind the other one:
The fifth bungalow, looking from the direction of the sea, offers two quadruple rooms (22-28m2) which are equipped in the same way - one double bed and bunk beds. One of the room is little bit bigger and the owners can add there one single bed, so it can accommodate one five members family. Next to these two quadruple rooms, this bungalov also has one quadruple apartment (26m2) which is consisted of the bedroom with a double bed and the living room with bunk beds. A baby cot can be added in the bedroom or an extra bed in the living room, so a five members family can be accomodated.
The fourth bungalow, looking from the direction of the sea, in its offer has one triple and one single room. The triple room (18-21m2) is consisted of a double and an extra bed (not a standard single bed). The single room (12m2) has a double bed that is smaller than the standard ones, it’s more narrow.
Third bungalow, looking from the direction of the sea, has three triple and one quadruple room. Triple rooms (18-21m2) are equipped with one double and one single bed.
Second bungalow, looking from the direction of the sea, offers one double room (14-18m2) with two merged standard single beds, as well as one double room with a queen size bed.
First bungalow, looking from the direction of the sea, is also the closest to the beach, has two triple rooms (18-21m2) in which ones are a double and an extra bed (not a standard single bed) for one small child (the adults can’t sleep on this bed).
Across the first bungalow, there is a reception, restaurant and the kitchen, next to which ones is one more complex of bungalows that offer four rooms, two triple (18-21m2) and two quadruple (22-28m2). Triple rooms are consisted of one double and one standard single bed, while the quadruple rooms are consisted of one double bed and bunk beds.
All bungalows are on the ground floor and they have direct access to the courtyard of the complex or to the beach. None of the accommodation units has kitchen, but they all have fridge. The rooms have a TV, mosquito nets on the windows (not on the doors), toilet and balcony. Internet is available at the bar, around the swimming pool and on the balconies of some bungalows. In all units can be added a baby cot, upon request. Cleaning is done daily, and bed linen and towels are replaced every three days.
The breakfast is buffet style (continental and local) and it’s served between 8:45 and 11:00. The meal (can be either lunch or dinner) is served at the table and consists of a starter (soup or appetizer), fresh salads (one salad for two people), main course (choice from 2-3 freshly cooked traditional Greek cuisine dishes) and every 2-3 days something from grill (meat or fish) and fruit or dessert. There is a possibility of additional charge if the grilled meat is required more often, or if the customer wants something more expensive than the standard menu (for example, steak or fillet, lamb or pork on a stick (on the day when in menu), a large fresh fish, octopus, etc). The lunch is served between 13:00 and 16:30 and dinner between 19:30 and 22:30.
From the season 2025, the accommodation can only be booked on a bed and breakfast (BB) basis. There is an option for additional meal, which is charged extra on the spot, which is ‘a la carte’ based, meaning that the guests can order whatever they want from the already existing menu.
Pets are welcome, under the condition that they are friendly and trained, that they do not attack or disturb other guests and visitors. Pets can not pee or poo in the accommodation units or close to the bungalows and public rooms (restaurant, around the pool and on the beach), or if they do it, the owners should clean it up, using the appropriate bags. Pets are not allowed to enter in the swimming pool and need to be controlled by the owners, especially if around them are guests who are allergic or do not want to have any touch with animals. Accommodation is ideal for the pets because it a huge yard where they can walk freely. Pets can not stay alone or to be locked in the room.
The bungalows are located on a huge property, and the owner, as a great lover of nature and animals, has rabbits, and many of them are half-wild and independently are strolling around the complex and throughout whole Kinira. The children are provided with large playground with swings and totters in the shade of pine trees, which makes this complex even more attractive for families. The guests of the hotel are provided with sunbeds free of charge, as well with built in barbecue. Private parking for cars is provided within the complex.
If you are coming from the direction of Limenaria and Potos, you pass through the monastery of the Holy Archangel Michael, the beach of Alyki and the turn to the famous Paradise beach, and after the beach, you will enter Kinira. If you are traveling from Limenas (21km), in Loutrou Beach Bungalows is better to come from Skala Potamia.
