Nefeli’s Cozy Apartment is located in the picturesque village of Afitos, 850 meters from the beach. The accommodation is suitable for families and groups of friends looking for a more peaceful environment to stay and relax. The location allows easy access to local amenities, while the atmosphere of the place encourages relaxation and a leisurely pace of the day.

This accommodation can offer guests two different accommodation options: a more spacious ground floor apartment, more suitable for larger families, and a loft studio, which is more suitable for smaller families, couples, or groups of up to four people.

The ground floor apartment is designed to accommodate a maximum of six adults and two children. The space consists of an open-plan living room connected to the kitchen and dining room, two bedrooms and a bathroom, making it suitable for families or guests who need a functional space for a longer stay. One bedroom has a double bed, while the other has a bunk bed, the upper and lower beds of which are adapted to sleep two people. Additional sleeping places are provided in the living room, where there is a single bed and a sofa that can serve as a bed for another person.

The studio is located on the first floor, in the attic, and is intended for a maximum of four adults. For sleeping, there is a double bed and two single beds, so the studio is a practical option for guests who prefer a more compact space, an attic environment, and a functional layout for a summer stay.

Both accommodation units have facilities that allow guests to stay more practical and independent during their vacation. The ground floor apartment has two air conditioners, located in the living room and bedroom, as well as additional fans that contribute to a more pleasant temperature and better air circulation, while the studio has one air conditioner. WiFi internet, a TV, and a hairdryer are available in both units, and the studio also has a washing machine, which is especially practical for longer stays. The kitchen areas are equipped with a two-burner stove, a microwave oven, a large refrigerator with a freezer, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, and a toaster, providing guests with the conditions to prepare lighter meals, drinks, and daily routines during their stay.

The outdoor space varies depending on the unit. The ground floor apartment has a veranda with a partial sea view, equipped with a seating area, providing guests with a pleasant corner for outdoor living. The apartment is connected to a paved courtyard, decorated simply and functionally, with a barbecue that can be used to prepare meals during their stay. The attic studio has a large balcony with a direct sea view, which makes it especially pleasant for guests for whom the view is one of the most important elements of a summer vacation. Studio guests also have a private barbecue at their disposal.

Although many guests travel with their pets, their stay in this accommodation is not allowed.

During their stay, guests take care of the hygiene of the apartment themselves, which gives them complete freedom to adjust the maintenance to their own habits and the rhythm of their vacation. Bed linen and towels are provided in the accommodation, and guests are responsible for changing them.

It is important to note that the facility does not offer a secured parking space. During the summer months, finding free parking in Afitos can be difficult, both due to the limited number of spaces and the narrow, cobblestone streets characteristic of this traditional settlement.

Afitos is one of the oldest settlements on the Kassandra peninsula, with roots dating back to the Bronze Age and a rich history. In ancient times, it was known as Afytis, when it was an important urban center. It minted its own currency, had a temple dedicated to Ammon Zeus, and participated in the Persian Wars. Today, this spirit of the past is quietly reflected in the stone facades and carved inscriptions that still adorn the houses in the center of the village. Located on a cliff above the Toroneos Gulf, Afitos does not try to impress, but conquers with its unobtrusive beauty. Cobblestone streets, flower-filled squares, quiet mornings and evening sounds of live music create an authentic atmosphere. The place has developed in accordance with its character, and today it offers taverns with traditional recipes, galleries of local artists, cafes with sea views, and craft shops that preserve the spirit of old times. In the very center of the village are the 19th-century church of Saint Dimitrios and the Aletras house, which has been converted into a folklore museum that preserves the memory of the daily life of the former inhabitants. At the foot of the cliff are the beaches of Varkes, Liosi and Moudounou, which are reached by narrow paths surrounded by pine trees and summer scents. The crystal clear sea, natural shade and peaceful atmosphere make them ideal for families, but also for anyone looking for relaxation away from the crowds. During the summer season, Afitos remains true to itself. Although the number of visitors is growing, the place retains its authenticity. Dinners are still served by candlelight, neighbors are greeted by name, and tradition is not exposed to tourists, but naturally permeates everyday life. Afitos is often the choice of travelers who want a combination of cultural experience, local charm, and a peaceful vacation, but also an excellent starting point for exploring the rest of Kassandra. The accommodation is about 74 kilometers from Thessaloniki International Airport.
