Accommodation description
Aqua Mare Sea Side Hotel is located in the center of Nea Kallikratia, at just 30m from the sandy beach. It has 13 clean and comfortable accommodation units for 2-5 people on bed and breakfast, half board and full board basis. Restaurants, cafes and shops are just a few steps from this hotel operating all year.
The accommodation units are spread over four floors. There is also an elevator available.
The suite is set on the last floor, with two bedrooms (and a terrace on the back), a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a spacious terrace (on the front) with a barbecue and amazing view of the sea and city center. The bedrooms have one double i.e. two single beds, and the living room has a sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with a large stove, fridge with freezer, dishwasher and necessary utensils. The apartment also has a washing machine.
Other rooms have no kitchen and a terrace. They have a small fridge.
All accommodation units are air-conditioned, have internet, satellite TV, hairdryer and safe box.
Cleaning is carried out daily, while towels and bed linen are replaced after 1-2 days.
There is a daily reception on the ground floor and the main one is at the Aqua Mare Hotel, about 200m away. Breakfast is served at this hotel and dinner is served at a nearby tavern.
There’s no private parking, and since the hotel is located in the central square, be prepared for the rush in the high season.

The accommodation is situated in an excellent location and is quite comfortable, but it requires renovation and thorough cleaning. Overall, it is dirty, the kitchen is in disrepair, and there is an issue with the electricity as the circuit breaker for the boiler must be turned off when using the kitchen, meaning the boiler needs to be turned on half an hour before you need hot water. On the back terrace, there is a pile of broken items and an old heating boiler that emits a smell of oil. The bedrooms open onto that terrace, and when you air them out, the stench enters the room. The internet router is kept on the nightstand next to the bed and cannot be turned off as it serves the entire building. We did not allow them to do that. Additionally, they do not have mosquito nets on the main terrace, which can be problematic due to mosquitoes. The glass on the terrace railing has fallen out of its fittings… Overall, at 180€ per night, it is too much.

- Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 14 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled 4 or more days prior to arrival, 50% of total reservation will be charged. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of no-show, 100% of total reservation will be charged. In the case of early departure, 100% of remaining days will be charged.
