All praises for Marija. The apartment is close to the sea, yet sufficiently distant from the hustle and bustle of the center. The center is about 300-400 meters from the accommodation, making it ideal for evening strolls. During our stay, the guests below us regularly used the barbecue. Everyone respected the house rules, allowing us to truly relax in every sense. Parking is provided.

I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Maria, located just a few steps from the beautiful beach; it can truly be said to be the finest part of Polihrono. The parking facility in the courtyard was crucial for us. We were welcomed by a spotless apartment. Bed linens and towels were provided for five days, just as promised. The landlady was extremely kind, not intrusive, but readily available if anything was needed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to return next year. The beds were very comfortable, which is also important. When traveling to Greece with your own transport, wherever you go through nikana.gr, you will be the safest. Thank you once again!

A warm recommendation for families with small children. This is not a place where barbecues are held and vodka is consumed every evening, even though there is a barbecue available. The most beautiful quiet beach in Polihron is just 100 meters away.

Everything was in perfect order. We would choose the same villa again; Mrs. Maria is an excellent hostess. I would like to point out that there was always hot and cold water available, as well as electricity.

The villa is situated at the beginning of the town, where it is peaceful, and it is close to a beach that is not crowded with people. The apartments on the first floor are rather cramped, and the bathrooms have not been renovated, which is a drawback. In contrast, the ground floor apartments are more spacious, with separate beds and renovated bathrooms. As for the kitchenware, only the bare essentials are provided. There is a lack of a deeper pot for cooking, a salad bowl, and a dish drainer. I brought my own frying pan and cloths.

I am extremely satisfied. I would recommend it to everyone.

The apartment is situated in an excellent location relative to the beach. While the town center and shops are a bit distant, it’s nothing alarming, even for parents with small children (ours are 5 and 9 years old). The rooms on the ground floor are superb due to the shade they provide and the spacious yard, but you will constantly battle with ants. In terms of amenities, it is quite modest. The bed in the bedroom is spacious and comfortable, but although the bedding was clean, there was an unpleasant odor, which we believe is due to the mattress. The beds in the kitchen are old and very uncomfortable. The towels we found upon arrival did not seem particularly clean, but we later replaced them and they were fine. Don’t count on the wardrobe; it’s small, with only one shelf and a lot of hooks. There are a few overhangs, and we kept some things there, while the rest was in our suitcase. The kitchen is very poorly equipped with dishes; we didn’t need much, but it’s not suitable for daily meal preparation. Lastly, cleanliness is not at a commendable level; there were cobwebs, some small flies, and the dishes were unwashed and old, which didn’t seem hygienic to us, even after washing. All in all, it requires some investment to make it look more decent.

The lovely owner Maria has become our second grandmother after this summer vacation. She is very accommodating, and whatever you ask her, she is always ready to help.

Overall, our impression of Villa Maria is highly positive. The location is a perfect ten, and the owner is very pleasant, always willing to assist us with everything we needed. Regarding cleanliness, we didn’t find it to be completely spotless, but after a few minutes, we managed to tidy up what was bothering us. We have no negative comments about this accommodation. If the opportunity arises, we would love to return here next year.

One of the most unpleasant experiences I have had over the years in Greece. Three families stayed in three two-bedroom apartments on the first floor, and all three apartments had a musty and damp smell. The kitchen was minimally equipped, lacking essential utensils and cookware. The bathroom was small and dysfunctional. The balcony doors lacked insect screens, so you can expect crickets, flies, stink bugs, and of course, mosquitoes in the rooms. Although the house rules stipulate quiet hours starting at 11 PM (which we always respect as we have small children), the landlady will chase all the children out of the yard before 10 PM. The only advantage is the proximity to the sea, while everything else for such a price of accommodation (850€ in July) is a complete disappointment.

The beach is nearby, the apartment is tidy, and the landlady Maria is always at your service. The accommodation is pleasant for families with children.

An exceptionally tranquil location, particularly suitable for families with children. The owners are very kind, the beach is just 50 meters away, although it is rocky in this area, while the sandy beach is 150-200 meters away. A warm recommendation for a holiday.

The yard, a green space, is perfect for children. There is a hose for rinsing off sand from the beach. Parking is available on the premises. There is a grill in the yard (we haven't tried it). The apartments on the ground floor feature large bedrooms and a kitchen area (where there are two single beds). In the sleeping area with a large double bed (long and wide), with new mattresses (we would say), there is also space for a large single bed and a crib, plus a chair, a small table with a mirror, and two nightstands. The sleeping area is sunken, but this is hardly noticeable; the window is not small. It is comfortable for sleeping when there is no humidity in the air. At night, even long pajamas can be worn, at least for small children. Besides the yard, the "terrace" is spacious. The only drawback is that there is no dining table inside. The terrace where meals are served is heavy to bring in if the weather is bad. Or you may be too bothered by the wasps that appear when food is brought out and leave when it is taken away. They are not aggressive even when you remove them with a fly swatter (which Maria gave us when we asked). The owner, Maria, is always there if you need anything. You can ask her for anything you don't have. She is kind and unobtrusive. It takes about 15 minutes of easy walking to get to the center. On the upper side, the street you take leads directly to the gyros at "Doktor" and to the bakery and discount store (about 10 minutes of brisk walking). There are no shops before that. Another option is the promenade. The beach is about a 3-minute walk away. We found it better when going right. Between the boat rental and the last café on the beach. It is mostly fine gravel, and then sand when you are in the water up to your waist. To the left of the boats, there are more stones. In that area, there was no crowd, even though we were there in the first half of July. The water was super clean. The sand/gravel was not hot. There is no natural shade. All in all, everything suited us perfectly. Greetings to Maria!
