Hotel Description

Al Mare is a 3-star hotel at about 2km from the center of Polichrono. Situated on the beach, surrounded by peace and pine trees, it offers 33 rooms (some with a beautiful sea view) on half board (HB, breakfast and dinner) basis. Guests have direct access to a private beach with a bar, sun loungers and parasols, as well as to a courtyard, swimming pool with a bar and parking. the hotel is great for combining vacation and fun, and small pets are welcome.

The nearest grocery store is in the center, and there is a restaurant serving custom meals at the hotel.

The rooms (21-25m2) are set on three levels, the lower, middle (nine steps above ground level, where are the reception and dining room) and the upper. They are double and triple, with the possibility of adding an auxiliary bed.

The rooms are equipped elegantly and functionally for a comfortable stay. They are air-conditioned, have the internet, satellite TV, safe box, hairdryer, bathroom with a shower with curtain (no bathtub, only tile), fridge and private balcony. The rooms on the lower level that have access to the yard have mosquito nets. All triple rooms have a courtyard view, while the twin rooms have a direct or side sea view (additional charge) or courtyard view.

A baby cot is available upon request when booking.

The hotel was opened in 1987. Rooms on the lower and upper level were completely renovated during ²⁰¹⁵⁄₂₀₁₆, mid-level in 2013, and the bar was renovated in 2016.

Breakfast and dinner are buffet style.

The hotel has no elevator.

Rooms are cleaned every day, while bed linen and towels are replaced every three days.

Parking is behind the hotel, it’s large and there’s room for all hotel guests and the bar guests, as the bar is open.

Excursions, airport transfers, photocopying and fax services are also available. The hotel can also organize any celebration or event (birthdays, parties, weddings or various romantic events).

The hotel is situated in an excellent location. The staff is courteous and willing to accommodate any arrangements. The furnishings could use some improvement.

Booking and Cancellation Terms

Adults are considered to be persons older than 14 years.
Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 15 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled 7 or more days prior to arrival, 50% of total reservation will be charged. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of no-show, 30% of total reservation will be charged. In the case of early departure, 100% of remaining days will be charged.
Overnight environmental tax is not included in prices.

Price note

The minimum stay is five nights.
A baby aged 0-1,99 years stays free of charge in a baby cot (available upon request).
First child aged 0-13,99 years stays free of charge on an auxiliary bed in a double room.
Half board includes breakfast and dinner.
Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach and at the bar can be used by hotel guests with consumption. Two sunbeds and an umbrella are available, at a rate of 15€ per day until 10.06.2026, and 25€ per day from 11.06. - 10.09.2026.
Group discount for more than 5 rooms or 13 people is an extra 8%.

SUPPLEMENT

Supplement for side sea view rooms is 5€ per night (on request).
Supplement for sea view rooms is 10€ per night (on request).
For the period from ¹⁸⁄₀₈ - ³⁰⁄₀₉, for the rental of the 4 Bed Room, where a standard single bed is provided for the first child up to 14 years old, the supplement for the first child up to 13.99 years is 15€ per day.
The environmental tax is 5 euros per night.
