One of the most popular accommodations for Lefkas

Kastro Maistro Apartments is a very popular accommodation in Lefkas, Lefkada capital. Stylish and beautiful, it offers a pool with a part for children, bar, WiFi internet and private parking. The service is based on a bed and (buffet) breakfast served in the hotel restaurant.

The accommodation is located 700m from the famous Agios Ioannis beach and about 2km from Lefkas. The nearest grocery store and bakery are about 200m away, in Frini settlement.

They offer the following accommodation units:

- 13 studios (23m2) for 2-3 persons with one double and a single bed
- One deluxe studio for four people
- Four apartments (38m2) with one double bed in the bedroom and two sofa beds in the kitchen area.

Studios and apartments have air conditioning, a TV, wireless internet, equipped kitchen with a stove and oven and large fridge, terrace and a bathroom with a hairdryer and shower.

Rooms are cleaned every day, towels are replaced every second day, and bed linen is replaced after three nights.

Amenities include a large pool with a part for children, poolside bar, the main bar, ample private parking and laundry service.

The reception is open 24/7 and offers car and bike rental services, safe box, a doctor on call, printer and fax usage, wake-up service and taxi on call.

After entering the island across the bridge, enter Lefkas and continue to the right for another 1km till you reach the intersection. From here, continue ahead following the signs for Frini settlement. 200m after passing Frini, on the left, you will see Kastro Maistro Apartments on the hill.

Kastro Maistro Apartments is an ideal choice for all travelers looking for good accommodation as a great base for touring the island, and especially the beaches on the west coast. Since the hotel is a bit distant, using a car to go to the beach is almost a must.

Upon entering the room, we were immediately struck by an unpleasant odor, though we could not determine its source. Initially, we suspected the air conditioning unit; we regularly ventilated the room, so we refrained from complaining. As time passed, the stench intensified and became unbearable, prompting us to notify the receptionist and Nikana about the issue. We believed it to be mold and dampness, which had previously appeared on the ceiling and had been ineptly repaired. However, after a short while, we realized that the apartment owners were ignoring the situation and had no intention of resolving it. We even received a "suggestion" from the staff that we had only five days left and should endure our stay in this apartment???!!! After several days of passing the blame, we insisted that someone come to the apartment, and then we experienced the shocking behavior of a woman who, due to her arrogant demeanor, was likely connected to the owner. She did not speak a word of English and began opening cabinets and bathroom doors, insisting that the smell originated from there. The peak of rudeness came when she pointed at our shoes, claiming that the stench was emanating from them. At that moment, we understood whom we were dealing with and that we could do nothing. Nikana spoke with the owner, but they were powerless. We stayed a few more days in the aforementioned apartment since we had already paid the full amount, and never again... In conclusion, they were aware of this problem even before our arrival, which explains their brazen behavior. On the other hand, we learned from other visitors that they also faced issues with dampness and mold in their rooms, especially on the ground and first floors.

We arrived early and were settled into our apartment in no time. Everyone working there is very friendly and polite. The location is excellent, offering a panoramic view of the sea, and it takes only a short time to reach the center of Lefkada. While a car is necessary to visit most beaches, we were prepared for that. The breakfast was superb and varied. I would gladly stay there again.

Only words of praise for this accommodation! Dora and the rest of the staff are exceptionally kind and polite. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide selection of food every morning, including two types of bread, pastries, cold cuts, mushrooms, sausages, eggs prepared in various ways, salads, as well as coffee, milk, juices, fruits, etc. The pool is a great option if you return early from the beach. Table tennis and foosball are also excellent entertainment options. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes by car to reach the center of Lefkada. In conclusion, we would gladly return to this accommodation.

We spent ten days at the Castro Maistro accommodation, where we rented a spacious 65-square-meter apartment for four people, featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, and dining area. We made the reservation in February and paid €927, including breakfast. The accommodation is beautiful, cleaned daily, with towels and linens changed every three days. The staff, particularly the women working there, are exceptionally friendly, and Dora, the queen, fulfills every wish you might have. The breakfast is somewhat monotonous, as it is the same every day, which is the only downside; for instance, when we arrive around 9:30 or 10:00, there is often little food available. The pool is clean, the sun loungers are great, and there are two grills, one of which we used one evening. Additionally, table football and table tennis are available, and the accommodation offers a lot of amenities. The Greek night on Mondays is fantastic and truly enjoyable. There is ample parking space for every car. We are extremely satisfied! Thank you again, Nikani, and we look forward to hearing from you next year for the third time. Highly recommend this accommodation.
