The internet is outstanding. The accommodation is new but somewhat modest in size, which is the only drawback. The kitchen is quite small, without an oven, just two burners. The price is therefore adequate. Didakis Studios comes highly recommended, and we would gladly return.

The downsides are that there is no bakery, and there is only one market in the center, with another a bit further away. Prices are slightly higher than, for instance, in Sarti regarding food and drinks, but that is not an issue since it takes about twenty minutes to reach Sarti. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind without excessive crowds and noise.

We highly recommend Nika's service, especially for those seeking accommodation by the beach in one of the smaller Greek villages, with one of the most beautiful beaches of Sithonia.

The accommodation is exceptionally good, the beds are comfortable, and the terrace is fantastic and spacious. We stayed in the second building, but we enjoyed a wonderful view of the sea (studio number 9). Some minor kitchen items are missing, such as a smaller pot and a cutting board. Hooks for hanging towels would be very useful. The street is quite noisy.

The relationship between price and quality is exceptionally good. The beach is just a few steps away, and what a beach it is! Kalamici is evidently slowly transforming into a true gem. Everything is delightful. A perfect place for relaxation, with three taverns, fantastic fast food, a market, and a bar. You could also find a doctor or a pharmacy here, as there are indeed many small children. In my opinion, the parking is in the wrong place, next to the beach instead of being relocated along the main road. It obstructs the view, and when there are many people, it somewhat pulls you back into the urban chaos you escaped from. But this seems to be reality. Some would even drive into the sea if they could. All in all, we love Kalamici and will gladly return.

At the beginning of August, we were guests (two adults and two children) at the Didakis studio in Kalamitsi, and I can say that we were satisfied with the accommodation. The studio is not large (as can be seen in the photos), but it is nicely furnished, clean, and has a spacious balcony (ours had a sea view) that we frequently used for relaxation in the morning and evening. The owner speaks English reasonably well and was very kind and communicative, allowing us to communicate easily with him (which had not been the case for us in Greece before, as owners usually speak little English). The accommodation has a fenced yard where all guests park, ensuring that the car is safe and you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot. As in most accommodations we have stayed in, the internet signal was stronger on the balcony and weaker in the rooms. The air conditioning was included in the price... in any case, we give our highest recommendations!

We thought it would be cramped with the baby and all the accompanying items, but it was not the case at all. Towels and bed linens are changed every three days, and during that time, they even clean the room of sand. The only downside was that they closed the tavern located on the ground floor. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation, as well as Kalamitsi itself.

The accommodation for that price could have been better... there is a strange smell, but it airs out after a few days or one simply gets used to it. They changed the bed linens and towels twice in ten days. We went to get some sleep, but it was difficult for us. In the middle of the night, outside, either the sewage is being cleaned or the water is being replenished, so every night or early in the morning, the cleaners do something that can be heard for an hour nonstop, and this happens several times in a row... The offerings in the area are sparse (5-6 taverns and 2 shops), but that is what we wanted, although we did not expect that everything would literally be three times more expensive than in other towns and larger supermarkets. The sea and the beach are magnificent... there is always space in the towel area, and on the beach itself, one can truly relax.

The accommodation was satisfactory; the room with bunk beds and a double bed was fine. The wardrobe had an unpleasant odor, so we had to buy an air freshener. The kitchen was small but functional; we have not had a better stove anywhere else. The bathroom was standard for studios of this type, although we had more luxury in some cheaper accommodations in Greece. The toilet tank leaked water that ran beside the bowl and created a puddle, which could be a slipping hazard for children. Fortunately, the valve can be turned off, so we adjusted it as needed. The terrace was spacious, providing enough room to avoid crowding, but since we were located next to the street on the upper floor, we had morning issues due to passing delivery trucks and vans, which sounded as if they were right above us. Another problem was the dust raised by cars throughout the day, so when you go to the beach and return, the terrace is covered in dust, requiring additional cleaning. We received new towels after five days, but our bed linens were not changed. I’m not sure if we were supposed to ask or what, but there it is. Essentially, as I mentioned, we have stayed in cheaper accommodations that were much cleaner and more comfortable than this one. The biggest advantage of this accommodation is its proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches in Sithonia, so the shortcomings did not pose a significant problem as we truly enjoyed our time at the beach. We saw the landlord on the first day and again when the hot water ran out, and I sought him out to inquire about it. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it gives the impression that he cares more about the tavern located in front of the building than about the studios. We are not particularly picky, but I know people who would be outraged to be greeted by such accommodation, so...

Didakis - an excellent accommodation, a kind host, highly recommended.

We vacationed at the beginning of September since we have a small child, a year and a half old. The accommodation was satisfactory, nothing exclusive, but as expected. The pictures were accurate. What I would criticize is that I emphasized I wanted a French bed, as we had to bring a crib for the child. We ended up with a studio that, to be fair, had a French bed, but also bunk beds. This significantly reduced our space since we couldn't remove them, and we had to assemble the crib. The explanation was that they didn't have another studio available that would suit us, which I believe is a communication error between the agency and the owner during the reservation. On the other hand, this studio had a wonderful view of the beach. The huge terrace provided us with comfort, as it is nearly the size of the entire studio. The bathroom is small but acceptable. The pictures are accurate, and we knew what to expect. Mosquito nets are installed on all doors and windows. Private parking is provided. The internet is... almost nonexistent, at least in the front complex of the apartments. It doesn't work on the phone, and the tablet and computer might manage to do something. The electrical outlets are of some strange format, and we had only one "normal". Hot water, technical, yellow in color, but always available. It's not for drinking, but everything else is fine. The host is great. Didakis is an exceptionally hospitable and pleasant man. He shared with us information about Kalamici, the winds that started blowing during that period, and about Halkidiki in general. A wonderful host. Kalamici as a resort - beautiful. It's not for young people, teenagers, or those without children, but for us families, it is an absolute paradise. Next to Didakis's tavern, which is extremely delicious, and in the accommodation, there is no smell of food being prepared on the floor below, there are also 4-5 restaurants offering traditional Greek cuisine, as well as a wonderfully cozy and pleasant café called Cavo. There are two well-stocked markets. The first one, located on the "promenade" (quotes are used because cars do move through there, albeit very cautiously and slowly), is somewhat more expensive than the second market located within the Tristeli camp. There isn't much to say about the beach, considering it is one of the must-see beaches in Sithonia. A significant advantage for those vacationing at the end of the season, who chose Kalamici, is that, as Didakis explained to us, the wind blowing in Kalamici comes from the south and is not strong. Kalamici is nicely sheltered, while other resorts on the flanks of the peninsula are prone to strong winds. For this reason, there were a few crowded days at the beach, as tourists from other resorts sought refuge in Kalamici. The beach is sandy with fine gravel in certain spots, and the entry into the water is gradual, unless there are waves that alter the seabed and the coast. The water is crystal clear, again, when there are no waves. All in all, a 100% recommendation.

Two apartments have been reserved, with one more added later. All are located in an old house with a sea view. Our studio apartment was the only one that encountered some issues; ants invaded our room, bathroom, kitchen, terrace, and beds, so we spent the entire ten days battling with them. The owners came to check and only sprayed a little, and that was it. We traveled with an eight-month-old child, and there was no improvement from that spraying, as the ants emerged wherever they pleased. The second apartment had no ant problems, even though it was connected to ours. Regarding the internet, it barely exists, just enough to send a message. The water flow is also weak, and not a single day was cleaned; instead, they call you at the door to give you towels and bed linens. The restaurant does not make noise since people avoid it for some reason. The owners are great and easy to communicate with. The location is perfect; there is no better. So, here is an honest opinion about the accommodation. The overall impression is positive; had it not been for the ants, it would have been perfect.

We stayed at the Didakis studio at the end of June and the beginning of July 2016 (a family of four). The owner is a patient, calm, and accommodating man. The description of the accommodation is accurate, as are the pictures. The studio may be small, but it meets all our needs. The bathroom is perfectly fine, and the beds are of high quality and comfortable. All the terraces are the same, spacious, featuring a table for dining. The sun on the terraces is only present in the morning, while the afternoons are shaded. When we were there, there was parking available in the courtyard (with space for 8-9 cars). Kalamici is a small place with a beautiful beach where the depth begins just after 4-5 meters, which may not be suitable for small children. There are two supermarkets, where prices are slightly higher than, for example, in Sikija or Sarti. When we visited, they were finishing the promenade and parking by the beach. During the day, many tourists from nearby places come to swim; the beach is popular, but not crowded. There are few amenities in Kalamici (only a few restaurants by the beach), so anyone wanting to take a stroll must go to Sarti, which is 15 km away, and the road there is excellent, allowing for a 20-minute drive. I hope my description has been helpful to someone.
