We had a wonderful time; the hotel is splendid, located on the beach, spacious, and filled with shade. The food is excellent and diverse. The hotel is clean, and the staff is exceptionally courteous.

Incredibly good service, courteous staff, clean rooms, and a tranquil beach. Everything was perfect.

The relationship between price and quality was exceedingly poor. We chose this hotel based on a recommendation from friends who visited a few years ago, but now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. An old hotel can hardly maintain a four-star rating; perhaps the service could compensate for the appearance, but that is not the case here. Everything needs renovation, especially the bathrooms, which are in a catastrophic state - for instance, the shower barely works, and when you try to bathe, water sprays everywhere, leaving the entire bathroom soaked. The toilet has limescale deposits that resemble dirt, which is truly very unpleasant and unacceptable. The room door barely closes - there was even a day when the cleaning staff left it open. Our family room had a stunning view of the sea, but we could not enjoy it because the air conditioning unit was installed above the chairs on the terrace, making it extremely noisy and generating an abnormal amount of heat, rendering the terrace unusable. The walls are very thin, and if you have noisy neighbors, you will find it hard to fall asleep. The hotel operates on an all-inclusive concept, and honestly, I did not have high expectations, yet I still managed to be disappointed. The restaurant manager was the rudest and most unpleasant person I have ever seen in tourism. She constantly appeared angry and irritated, and if anyone asked her anything or made a request, she would generally just "brush them off." There was no one on-site to whom you could complain about a bad experience. Getting drinks during meals was nearly impossible, as it seemed the staff was trained to deliberately not bring you drinks, and they made an effort to appear busy non-stop, moving glasses or plates from one place to another repeatedly. The hotel is located next to the beach, but it does not have its own beach, so you will have to exit the complex, walk down a dusty path to the street, cross the street, and then you will be at the beach. Sunbeds on the beach cost 3 euros, which is not much, but if the beach is advertised, it would be nice if they included that three euros in the price and provided sunbeds. There is no bar or music on the beach. Nothing at all. The beach is sandy, and the shallows are vast, which is fine for children, but for Sithonia, the beach itself is below average. The hotel has two large pools that operate from 10 AM to 7 PM, and there are indeed enough sunbeds, so there are no issues there, but the constant smell of sewage was present throughout our seven-day stay. The hotel does not provide towels for the beach or the pool, which is the first time I’ve encountered this in a four-star hotel with a pool - truly strange. Lastly, the worst experience I had was that the cleaning staff do not respect the "do not disturb" sign (I placed it five times, and each time someone entered the room and "cleaned"/moved our belongings). This is unacceptable to me, and it was what angered me the most. Parking is on the street, and most cars are just left on the side of the street in the sun. Sidewalks do not exist in that part of the village, so it is not safe for walking at all. There is nothing around except for another hotel, and without a car, you cannot go anywhere. The girls who were supposed to entertain the children were mostly on their phones all day, and the children's entertainment was in the evening, after dinner, in the form of a disco where they learned choreographies for the same songs every night. Two evenings there was a live Greek band, and that was more or less it for evening entertainment. At the bar by the pool, there was usually a line for drinks, we did not like the cocktails, nor the wine with dinner (wine from a 5-liter carton), but the beer was okay, as well as the frappe coffee they made at the pool bar. The mosquitoes were terrible, no repellent helped, and the hotel staff seemed to deliberately do nothing about the mosquitoes. For 300 euros for a night, the service should be significantly better.

Do not expect a 4-star hotel, as this is not one. The accommodation looks more like a 3-star, the food maybe up to 3, and the service ranges from 1 to 2. In the restaurant, you will receive filter coffee for breakfast, and you can help yourself to water and orange juice. For lunch and dinner, you will get half a glass of water and possibly one drink at dinner, but you will often have to ask for it at least two or three times, and even then, it is questionable whether you will actually get the drink, as the staff is trained to smile at you and then forget to bring it. The restaurant manager is extremely rude and constantly frowning. The staff, of which there are plenty during meals, spends 99% of their time rearranging glasses and cups and clearing your plates from the table even if you haven't finished your meal, instead of serving, for example, the drink you requested or at least bringing more water. The guys working at the pool bar are very nice, but three of them are not enough to prepare all the drinks that people want, so there is a constant line of 10 people, and it takes a long time to get served. The cocktails they make are very poor. The wine they serve comes from a carton and is also bad. The beer is okay. The juices for children are just sugary water, so in the end, we drank frappe coffee, which was good, and water the whole time. If you ask, you will also get espresso or cappuccino, but those are coffees from large machines like in waiting rooms, not from a regular coffee maker. The hotel is paid in full upon arrival, so by the time you realize where you are, it is already too late because you have already paid for everything, and the hotel is quite expensive for the level of service it provides. The food is, as I said, maybe at a level of up to 3 stars, and what is always available is fries and plain pasta, which the children ate 99% of the time because they did not like anything from the mixed food that was served. For breakfast, the fruit served includes apples one day, peaches another day, and a lot of canned fruit, which I really don't know who eats. In the middle of summer, therefore, the selection of fresh fruit is 2 fruits at best. The beach next to the hotel is mediocre, one of the worse ones for Sithonia, and it is not the hotel's beach; the sunbeds and umbrellas belong to someone else and cost €3 for a set (which is not much, but for 270+€ per night, it is the minimum the hotel could provide). A man will chase you away from the sunbeds around 6 PM and lock them up, and if you go to lunch and take all your belongings, you will return to find the sunbeds locked again. Evening entertainment includes a disco for children and two nights of live Greek music, but even then you will not be able to enjoy it because the mosquitoes will literally EAT you. The hotel does absolutely nothing to resolve this issue - no candles or anything against mosquitoes. And the peak of it all is that the cleaning staff enters your room regardless of the "do not disturb" sign on the door, doing this 5 times, as it became amusing for us to put the sign up and see if they would enter the room or not. The cleaning staff do not speak English at all, so do not even try to ask them for anything or explain anything. The walls in the rooms are like cardboard, so pray that you will have normal neighbors. The guys at the reception were very nice and polite; we cannot say anything negative about them. The surroundings of the hotel, the pool, and the courtyard are really well maintained and clean, with mowed and tidy grass. Parking around the hotel is minimal, and most people park on the street, along the street.

I have no complaints whatsoever. I believe this establishment deserves the highest ratings. The only drawback is the price, which is unrealistically high. For a rate exceeding €345 per day, they charge an additional €2 for the use of the safe.

The penthouse where we stayed was excessively warm. The air conditioning on the upper level was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep, and we had to keep it at the lowest setting to cool the space, which ultimately led to us catching a cold. We were not satisfied with the food; there were only a few tasty dishes for the children, nothing particularly special. There were a lot of wasps, creating an uncomfortable feeling, especially for the kids, and if one stings you, it adds to the problem. The beach is charming and small, but filled with grass and large stones. The only truly kind aspect was the staff. Overall, I believe this is too much money for this arrangement, and we certainly will not be vacationing at this hotel again.

One of the few hotels where you receive everything: decent accommodation, a beach, and excellent food at reasonable prices.
