A comfortable accommodation for a family of five, well-equipped, clean, with a perfect yard, pleasant, and a terrace for enjoyment. The hosts are always available for any inquiries, and the apartment is regularly cleaned with towels changed every 3 to 4 days.

The accommodation is more than excellent, and the owners are always available for anything you might need. I would definitely recommend it.

Astris Bungalow offers an excellent balance of price and quality. What bothered us was that the accommodation is located next to the main road, making it quite noisy around 9 AM. If the accommodation were a bit further from the highway and there were fewer mosquitoes, it would be truly delightful.

The accommodation is situated in a great location, peaceful and features a spacious yard. The double bed is small, and all the beds are in poor condition; they wobble, creak, and the springs are felt through the mattresses. The air conditioning works adequately. When it comes to comfort, it is neither suitable for sitting nor standing. For someone who only needs a place to spend the night, it is ideal, considering that one doesn't need more than that at the seaside. The WiFi is acceptable, but it is only available in half of the house, as it is provided by the neighboring villa. During our 12-day stay, cleaning was performed twice, and I have no complaints about that.

The accommodation was excellent considering the price paid. We were three adults and a three-year-old child, and everything was perfect. We were alone at the location since the owner lives elsewhere; he came with a souvenir to meet us and to settle the remaining payment, and he did not disturb us even on the day of our departure. As a bonus, he showed me and took me to a beautiful beach nearby that is not visible from the main road. The bungalow has a capacity for five adults and features a spacious yard with a swing where the child can play freely. It is located on the main road, but this does not bother us, as it is very quiet and intimate. There is a small shop just 100 meters away, instant hot water, a refrigerator, an electric stove, and an oven, etc. However, some attention should be paid to the cleanliness behind the house where the owner plans to expand, and it is recommended to restrict children's access.

In mid-July, my wife, our two children, and I went on vacation. This accommodation is primarily intended for those who do not prioritize fancy comfort, but it has nearly everything one might need. There is no internet, and the air conditioning did not work well (something smelled unpleasant from it). The accommodation is acceptable (although we did not experience any rain). The front part of the yard, from the house to the street, is phenomenal - spacious, with olive trees, accommodating 2-3 cars, perfect for ball games... The back part of the yard is a bit chaotic, but there is no strong need to venture there. The grill is amusing (it just doesn't fall apart), but it served its purpose. The owners did not appear, but we handled everything over the phone (to avoid going into details).

We stayed on Thassos from August 28 to September 12, 2015. After a night drive, we arrived in the early morning hours, exhausted and finding no one at the property. Assuming check-in time was at 1:00 PM and that the previous guests had already left, we patiently waited until noon for someone to arrive to clean the house and change the linens. When no one showed up by 12:30, we got in the car and drove to the Nikana agency, where the staff member was unsuccessfully trying to reach the property owner. We returned, expecting someone to appear, and since the key was in the door, we took the initiative to enter and tidy up the fridge to at least get it functioning. Only after an hour or two did the cleaning staff arrive, surprised and stating that they thought there were no new guests that day. They quickly cleaned, changed the linens, we thanked them, and mentioned that we would see them in four days, as stated on the website regarding the timing for linen changes. However, the linens were changed only once instead of twice, on the sixth day! We did not see the owner until the end of our stay when the owner called and sent her daughter to "collect" the money we were supposed to pay on the first day. Naturally, it was pointless to discuss anything at the end of our vacation, such as the fact that the ceiling in the small room started to leak on the penultimate day (thankfully, it wasn't raining heavily). I have no words for the internet; it was a disaster, with only a weak signal on the terrace, and forget about any signal inside the house. Streaming or any decent internet connection, which you could get from the neighboring villa Elista, was out of the question. Regarding the owner's absence and the failure to change the linens within the agreed timeframe, I contacted the agency, and they replied that they would reach out to the owner and that we shouldn't worry. We didn't worry, but we achieved nothing. All in all, considering that we have been vacationing on Thassos for 11 years, this is a good base for the island, but I had to first mention the experiences described above so that anyone deciding to come here has a realistic insight into what they are getting. There are hardly any wasps, actually, they are almost nonexistent, but there are mosquitoes, the mosquito nets are in order, the backyard is a dumping ground, and the grill is an improvised movable one on legs, so forget about having that. Overall, given the price, the owner needs to show a little more interest and engagement regarding the entire accommodation. Oh, and lest I forget, if you take a shower, be sure to turn off the power for the boiler at the main switch, as the electricity can short-circuit, putting you at risk...

I stayed for 20 days in July/August 2015. We were not disappointed; we received exactly what we expected. The location is very tranquil, and at night, there is no noise. The air conditioning is set to 18, quickly cooling the entire bungalow. The screens were torn in a few places, allowing some mosquitoes inside. The property is quite old and has been renovated, but it serves its purpose; everything looks just like in the pictures. It is very important to note that on the terrace, you are separated by a wall from the first neighbor, an elderly lady. She is very quiet, and after 10 PM, when she sees her friends off, she goes to bed. In reality, we only saw the landlord on the first day, as he is busy and lives on the other side of the island, so you will have to fix, tighten, and tidy up everything you find yourself.
