City beach in Astris is organized so you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas there, or get them free if you order a drink.

It consists of two parts. A smaller part is located on the entrance to Astris and has a Marley beach bar since 2013. A larger part of the beach is located in front of the Astris Beach hotel and restaurant in the center of Astris.

The beach is wide enough and covered with fine sand on the shore, with mixed sand and stones in the water.

There’s a tavern on the beach where you can order excellent Greek traditional meals or some drinks.

Beach in Astris is not one of the finest on the island but it can be very useful for those located in Astris. It usually isn’t crowded.

In recent years, and especially in 2022, it has become very beautiful because due to the sea current, the setting is completely sandy, with a nice and gentle entrance and turquoise water.

There is free parking by the road. Showers, toiler as well as dressing room you can find in the bar.
