Accommodation description

The house is located on a hill, on the highest point of the village of Kallirachi, 500m from the center of the village and 3km far from the closest beach.
The peaceful location of the house offers a panoramic view of the sea and mountains, ideal for couples or family vacations.
It has a large garden with fruit trees and flowers, external dining table and BBQ. Also, it has a kitchen, a bathroom, three bedrooms full of art, free WiFi and private free parking. In the first bedroom there is one double bed, in the second there are one double and one single bed, while in the third there are one double and two single beds. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.

Eleni was the quintessential host. She was always there to assist us. She prepared traditional dishes for us. Both she and her husband were present at all times to lend a helping hand. The location was ideal. The house was clean, beautiful, and equipped with all necessities. It resembled an art house, akin to a museum. I greatly admire Varias Art House and recommend it to everyone wishing to visit Thassos.

In August 2019, we planned a trip to the island of Tasos in beautiful Greece, where we had already enjoyed its stunning beaches and crystal-clear Aegean Sea for three years. For our vacation, we chose a large villa for two families with children (8 people), located near the coast, in the hills, while the families planned to enjoy all the beaches of Tasos and relax in that environment, where one could spend the whole day with their own equipment, coolers, enjoying the beach with a car. This vacation villa was selected for all these criteria, situated 4-5 km from the coastline, high in the hills, at the highest point in the mountain village of Kalirahi (a steep asphalt road leads to it, known as "decilka dnih"). Moreover, the light from the nearby beech forests provided us with magnificent sunsets, as this is the western coast of Tasos. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we expected the trip to be postponed for two years, but when we arrived at the villa in June 2021, all our expectations were exceeded! The villa is located in that peaceful rural area, almost in the "center of nature", and it is an ideal place for 2-3 families who wish to enjoy an individual vacation. The villa hosts, Dimitris and Elena, are very kind and friendly people, who have been engaged in artistic and musical creativity for many years. The villa is decorated with a large number of hand-painted pictures by the hosts. We spent many pleasant evenings with them on the terrace of the villa, enjoying local wine and seafood delicacies, prepared by hand on the grill, while relishing the fantastic sunsets.
