A charming little hotel located on its own beach, where sun loungers are free with drinks. The hotel tavern is right on the beach and serves exceptionally delicious food. The service in the tavern is excellent. The hotel boasts a prime location on Pefkari Beach, away from the hustle and bustle of Potos, which is just 500 meters away. Perfect for small children.

Despite having read numerous negative comments before making the reservation (there were positive ones, but far fewer), I took a risk and I did not regret it. The apartment was comfortable and clean (cleaned daily, with towels and bed linens every second or third day), the beds were cozy, and the bathroom was also spacious. It is not true that water floods the entire bathroom; while there is some water, the shower cabin is small and only enclosed, but people exaggerate with their negative comments. When a little care is taken, everything is fine. As for breakfast, it was varied, somewhat monotonous, but the selection was good. If only we, as a nation, were not so greedy; when it comes to a buffet, we would try everything on the first day and then have complaints. The large parking area mostly has shade, which is an advantage. Regarding the sunbeds at the hotel, they are not charged separately and can be obtained with an ordered drink. Prices are as everywhere (3€ for coffee and up, depending on what you drink). The beach is pebbly and sandy, and the water entry is a nightmare; all the tiles are covered in algae. You cannot go without those special shoes; they are slippery and there are cracks among them, so you need to be more careful. Ideal for divers. The water is beautiful, crystal clear. The hotel price is a bit higher, but peace is definitely purchased. It is further away from famous beaches like Marble, Golden, Paradiso, etc., but as far as I am concerned, nothing particularly wow was missed except for the crowds, worries about where to park the car, and finding a free spot for a towel or sunbed. The conditions for sunbeds are steep, 40-50€ per person, but all is well; we went on vacation. Everyone employed there is genuinely friendly. My recommendation.

The location is excellent, especially for those with small children; this is a true vacation spot. Parking is conveniently located right in front of the hotel. The breakfast provided at the hotel is satisfactory. Rooms are cleaned daily (trash is taken out and floors are mopped). However, towels and bed linens are changed every three days, which can be problematic when you have a small child. On Sundays, the cleaning staff does not work at the hotel, so we found ourselves without clean towels for four days, but when we asked the owner, she was very accommodating, promptly bringing and personally replacing those items (I do not mention this as a negative). The only aspect that truly bothered me in the hotel was the very small bathroom and the lack of any protection in the shower stall, such as glass or a curtain, which caused the floor to be constantly messy. All in all, we are satisfied and will definitely return next year.

We are very satisfied. The hotel is situated in a prime location, surrounded by tranquility and free from traffic noise. The beach in front of the hotel is pleasant, and the sea is clear. Potos is literally a ten-minute walk away. We had an overnight stay with breakfast. The breakfast buffet was quite decent. The rooms are cleaned regularly, and the linens and towels are changed every three days. Additionally, the maid comes in daily to wipe the floors of the rooms and bathrooms. The staff is courteous. Before booking this hotel, we encountered numerous negative comments alongside the positive ones. Our opinion is that this is a very good hotel within its category. I believe the negative reviews were written by those who booked this hotel expecting five-star service.

We stayed in a suite with two children, and the space was sufficiently spacious and very nicely furnished. The only suggestion would be to have a slightly more varied selection of food for breakfast.

In reality, everything in the room appears as it does in the pictures on the website. My only complaint is that the cleaner did not regularly clean at least the floors of the rooms, and the shower cabins and bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned; for instance, the corners and areas where the tiles meet the side walls were always piled with dust and hair from a few weeks prior. Despite the monotonous breakfast and dinner, there was always something delicious to choose from. Regardless of everything, I rate the price-to-quality ratio of this hotel as 4.

Pefkari is a charming, small, and tranquil place, ideal for families with young children. The Masutis market is just a 2-minute drive away, and the prices are quite reasonable and relatively normal. The Kapahi hotel has been completely renovated. Everything in the room is new, including the bathroom, furniture, and appliances. The air conditioning is clean and does not have any unpleasant odor. New terrace furniture was added while we were there (nice and comfortable chairs instead of plastic ones). The room is cleaned every day, and the bed linens and towels are changed every three days. The room is perfect for two, but when you are three and have a special bed for the child, you cannot avoid feeling cramped. The room for two and for a family of three is the same size; only a special bed is added, which completely ruins the concept of the room, making you feel claustrophobic, and you can only open the wardrobe at a maximum of 45 degrees due to the child's special bed. The staff is exceptionally friendly, consisting of young people. The beach in front of the hotel is small and beautiful, as I dislike noise and crowds. The water entry is not great due to slippery and flat stones, but the water is clean and there are no crowds. The breakfast is good, as I eat similar food at home 95% of the time (eggs - scrambled or fried, sausages, muesli, fruit, feta, ham, cheese, olives, vegetables, coffee and juices from the machine, Greek yogurt, spreads, fruits, etc.). Many find the breakfast monotonous regarding the savory part, as only sausages and fried eggs rotate, while everything else remains the same every day. Dinner is presented by the chef of the tavern across from the hotel, who is also very friendly. The concept of dinner is unclear to me, and this is what I discussed most with my wife. They offer you 5 dishes, and you choose. You always receive a soup (beef, fish, or chicken) whose appearance is essentially the same, meaning they cook one and simply add pre-prepared meat before serving. The salad is always the same, unseasoned and without feta, which is a significant downside (tomato, cucumber, onion - not red, pepper), dessert is watermelon, melon, or peaches, one small plate to share among three of you, there isn't even enough for a bite. Among the seafood, there was one small piece - swordfish steak, fried squid, or a whole stuffed with risotto, which was excellent, shells - excellent, and that’s where the story ends. If you want shrimp or something a bit better, you have to pay extra. The rest are standard Greek dishes, grilled meats, stuffed peppers, and blue eggplant, goulash, etc. All tables with a sea view - on the terrace, and sunset are pre "reserved" even though they are not, to offer them to random passersby for the view and atmosphere. Meanwhile, those of you who paid more than 130 euros per day are placed in the middle of the tavern, serving as bait, like a random guest, to attract random tourists by the principle of social proof. A HUGE DOWNSIDE because of this; surely we, as pre-paid guests, should be more important than random passersby. Once, I received shells from the previous day, evident by the rice that had been reheated and was very swollen. Another thing is that all guests are offered various dishes. Overall, the half-board service is very mediocre and not worth the money spent. The accommodation is fine for the money due to the overall impression. I will not return here, that is certain due to the poor service in the restaurant.

The hotel is somewhat more expensive than it ought to be. It serves as an excellent base for those wandering the island. It is peaceful, with no crowds or traffic, and a pedestrian path leads to Limenaria, which is not overly demanding, taking about 30 minutes to walk. The beach in front of the hotel is not suitable for small children, as it has small pebbles and shallow rocks just 3-4 meters from the shore. However, this did not deter an 8-year-old from exploring the underwater world for hours.

The hotel is located right on the beach in Pefkariu, near Potos. The beach offers plenty of activities for children, but it does not quite match the level of beauty that Thasos provides. However, just a five-minute walk away is Potos, which has much more to offer and a long beach. If you are on Thasos, it is essential to rent a car and explore this truly beautiful island, with its fantastic beaches and stunning landscapes. The hotel itself is very nice and tidy, though my only complaint is about the size of the room, which should be a bit larger, especially the triple room. The food at the hotel is excellent, truly delicious, with enormous portions that are always fresh. Various types of fruit are served with every meal. The hotel staff, particularly in the restaurant, deserves high praise. In summary, the beach is not exactly as depicted in the pictures, but I reiterate, for Thasos, you absolutely need a car to explore the entire island, as it is truly worth it. What I would like to highlight is Nikana; I am extremely satisfied with them. They responded to every email, are exceptionally friendly, available, and truly dedicated to their guests. Every praise goes to Nikana.

My husband, our one-year-old son, and I. The rooms are inhumane in size; we could hardly pass each other. The bathroom is even worse; the toilet is almost glued to the wall, making it necessary to sit sideways, and the shower stall is so small that one can barely shower in it. This does not show in the pictures, as the space is very skillfully photographed. The owners bully the staff in front of the guests, who continue their duties in tears, while that same staff is wonderful to the guests. Hygiene is on the brink of tolerability; the air conditioning filters are clogged, and when turned on, it almost smells. Guests with sea-view rooms are told that theirs are smaller compared to those with a courtyard view, yet all rooms are the same.
