I wholeheartedly recommend this villa. From the moment you enter the accommodation until the moment you leave, there is always someone available to assist you with any support you may need. All praises!

We stayed in studio number 12 from August 26 to September 6. We were simply looking for that studio, did not inquire properly in advance, and made a mistake. The studio is not comfortable for four people, two adults and two children. There are no windows, so it cannot be ventilated while you are away. At night, when you sleep, if it is hot, you must rely on the air conditioning, as the entrance from the terrace is essentially the only entrance to the studio; there are no front doors. If you were to sleep at night with the terrace doors open, you would actually be sleeping with the studio doors open, which is somewhat awkward. This is the biggest drawback: there are no windows that can be opened for ventilation. The kitchen is very small and dark, with only three deep plates for four people. There is little cutlery. Behind the bed, there is cobwebs, and the cutlery is dirty (I have pictures but don't know how to include them), and there is moisture on the bathroom wall, making the entire studio feel damp (since it cannot be ventilated at all). Now, for some positive aspects: the hosts are very kind and warm-hearted, the house is in an ideal location, just ten steps from the beach. It is also close to the promenade and the market. Parking is provided. Perhaps this is only the case with this studio due to the lack of window openings; maybe the others are different. It is definitely our mistake for choosing this studio, as it is on the ground floor and has a yard in front, which is great for children.

The accommodation is more than excellent. The hosts are kind and accommodating. The terrace is enormous, which was our top priority. Until now, we have never stayed in a private accommodation where the cleaning is done every three days, along with changing the bed linens and towels. Hats off. The city beach is about thirty meters away from the accommodation. The center is just 100 meters away, and the view from our terrace overlooks a beautiful church. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is exactly as depicted in the pictures. Everything is clean and tidy. The owners are always present, courteous, and readily available. It is located in a peaceful area, close to all necessary amenities. The beach is just a minute's walk from the house, featuring beautiful waters, and there are cafes with sun loungers (to the left when you descend to the beach, the staff is very pleasant and, above all, unobtrusive), as well as a section for those who wish to use their own umbrellas.

It is ideal for a family with young children. Situated in a tranquil area, a supermarket is conveniently nearby, and it is just a five-minute stroll to pastry shops, restaurants, cafes, and various stores. The beach was merely a few steps away from the villa, and the room was both spacious and comfortable. The owners are exceptionally kind and helpful, and communication was remarkably easy.

The only thing I was unaware of was that the accommodation allowed pets, which caused them to make noise during the evening and nighttime hours. That was the only aspect I found displeasing, while everything else was satisfactory. When I encountered an issue with parking, the host resolved it without me having to ask.

The accommodation resembles the picture, but it is several years old now and has aged considerably. The third bed is not a proper bed, but rather a supplementary cot, which is quite uncomfortable. The kitchen lacks adequate lighting and is poorly equipped. The rest is bearable.

In my opinion, the apartment on the third floor should never cost so much. It was constantly too warm in the apartment; there is air conditioning, but since it is a small room, it cannot be turned on without blowing directly at you. The water in the shower cannot be adjusted to a warm temperature; it is either hot or cold. There is a bird's nest on the terrace near the air conditioning, and their droppings were constantly present in that part of the terrace. All in all, the owners are friendly, but we will not be booking there again.

We checked into the accommodation at 8 AM instead of 2 PM, as everything was ready earlier. The parking is located in the yard, in the shade, the sea is just 50 meters away, and the view from the bed is magnificent. Cleaning and towel replacement were done three times over ten days. All dishes were fully equipped. Looking for a complaint, I cannot single out anything that was not as agreed, and it even exceeded our expectations. A perfect ten.

Truly, I wholeheartedly recommend it! In our opinion, it deserves a perfect score. Exceptionally well thought out, everything is in its logical place, with an incredibly pleasant ambiance, an excellent host, and top-notch cleanliness. The bedding is of hotel quality, and the towels are new. The host is cheerful, accommodating, and unobtrusive, as if you have come to visit an old friend... An excellent location for anyone over 25 years old, yet only 60 meters from the sea entrance and about 200 meters from the pedestrian zone. The car entrance is quite reasonable. Either it has improved since 2018, or the drivers who complained were simply poor drivers... Kudos, and see you next year!

My wife, our youngest son, and I spent 10 days at this accommodation, and overall, we are satisfied with the quality of the lodging, its location, and cleanliness. We stayed in a studio 2+1 with a large terrace on the first floor, featuring a French bed and an additional bed, and we found it very pleasing. We had everything we needed; we didn't cook anything except for coffee, but there is equipment and utensils available for those who wish to use them. I was particularly pleased that there was a safe in the room, allowing us not to worry about certain belongings. Dimitris is very accommodating and always at your service, and parking for our vehicles was provided. The accommodation was peaceful and ideal for relaxation. The beach is nearby; it’s decent, but there are many better ones on Thassos, so it's worth visiting some of the mountain villages such as Teologos, Sotiros, or Kastros. All in all, we are very satisfied with the price range and the services offered.

At the end of August 2018, I spent 11 days at the Amversa house villa. I was extremely satisfied with the location, as a path of about thirty meters leads from the yard to the beach. On the third day, the linens and towels were cleaned and changed. The owners of both villas are exceedingly kind and hospitable, always nearby to lend a hand. They possess all the necessary information regarding the island. Potos is an ideal position for exploring all the nearby beautiful beaches. The yard is also quite charming. It takes only 2-3 minutes to reach the center. I would highly recommend the villa. I am very pleased.

Excellent, clean apartments that include all the essential elements, with everything necessary readily available. The rooms are spacious, the terraces are vast, and privacy is well ensured. The air conditioning works adequately, although we did not use it much. The WIFI is also decent. The bathroom is acceptable; the "shower cabin" is not large, but it is not the smallest we have seen in Greece either. The location is outstanding, hardly could it be better, with secure parking beside the house. Nearly all guests are from Serbia, if that helps or hinders you.....

Hello everyone, My wife and I visited Villa Amversa this August, and I can say only one thing: the accommodation in this villa is worth every penny :-) The location of the villa is excellent, with the beach just about thirty meters away, and the center of Potos can be reached on foot in 2-3 minutes. The place is very quiet, with no noise, except for the sounds of passing cars, but nothing alarming. The apartment (double occupancy) we stayed in was comfortable, the furniture was excellent, the bathroom renovated, and the terrace offered a beautiful (side) view of the sea. The only minor issue was that the kitchen was a bit cramped, but it was not a significant problem as everything in it functioned flawlessly. There is parking in the yard for 5-6 cars. One should enter the parking slowly to avoid scraping the bumper, but for an experienced driver like me, it posed no issues. I even received compliments from one of the villa owners, Mr. Giorgos :-) Additionally, I want to commend the hosts who were very kind and communicative. The hygiene was "top-notch"; during our ten-day stay, they changed towels and linens three times and cleaned the apartment. Therefore, I warmly recommend everyone to visit Villa Amversa.

The view of the sea from the second-floor terrace is magnificent. The location is just 50 meters from the city beach, where you can rent a sunshade and two loungers if you order a drink. Parking is available for all guests. The total distance to the center of Potos is less than 100 meters, where you can find bakeries, pizzerias, and shops. The owners are unobtrusive yet always available if you need anything, and they speak Serbian and English. Overall, we will likely vacation there again next year.

The location of Amverse is excellent, close to the beach and all the amenities in the center, yet the noise is barely audible. The parking in front of the house is rather narrow, significantly lower than the street, making maneuvering difficult, and it receives sunlight almost all day long. Apartment number 7 on the upper floor, where we stayed, has a view towards the sea, but only a small piece of it is visible between other buildings. The view is not appealing as it overlooks an abandoned and overgrown yard of the neighboring house. The terraces are equipped with a good awning, but there is a lack of privacy due to the absence of a partition towards one neighboring terrace, while a wall exists towards the other. The furniture is decent: the beds are comfortable, and we are quite sensitive regarding this matter. The vanity table and nightstands next to the beds are very useful, and the wardrobe has two drawers. The dining table inside is small and suitable for two people, while the balcony has a decent seating arrangement. The balcony doors with built-in mosquito nets proved to be very useful, and there were quite a few mosquitoes that entered despite the netting, although this is not related to the apartment itself. There is always hot water, which arrives quickly even during off-peak hours. Cleanliness and maintenance are good, the apartment is cleaned every three days, and towels and bed linen are changed. We did not meet the landlord Nikos, who occupies the right side of the house, but his brother Jorgos was mostly present. For complaints, requests, and payments, you address the mother-in-law who speaks no other languages except Greek. Brother Jorgos was very kind, explaining everything to us in detail as we entered the apartment. Our greatest complaints are directed towards the kitchenette, which, although adequately equipped and furnished with nice dishes, lacks proper lighting, workspace, and sufficient storage space. The faucet at the sink was wobbly. The rating for the kitchenette is a 2 minus! From what we observed, the overall condition of Nikos’s apartments is better than Jorgos’s.

We were accommodated on the first floor with a terrace that offers a partial view of the sea (studio 7). The accommodation was quite decent - a comfortable bed, a lovely terrace, and a spacious studio - we lacked nothing. Towels and bed linen were changed every three days. The location is excellent - the center is just two minutes away, the city beach is nearby, and you can easily access the main road from the parking lot, while being completely insulated from noise in your room. Personally, I find Limenarija more beautiful than Potos, especially for families with young children, but Potos is also nice and is located a bit closer to the beaches that interest me. We did not have any parking issues (we visited in early September). It is true that sometimes parking was a bit tricky, but even when there were no available spots, you could always find free parking nearby.

Regarding the accommodation and its location, it is phenomenal, literally about 20 meters from the beach. It is very peaceful and secluded from noise, almost right at the city beach. The hygiene is at a high level, with towels being changed every 2-3 days. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and strive to resolve any issues and requests. There was a misunderstanding regarding parking, so I recommend that you inquire thoroughly and arrange parking if it is very important to you, as it was for me. If you have a low car, you won't be able to park in the courtyard, but the owners provide parking not far from the villa.

Excellent accommodation, much more beautiful in person than in the pictures. A charming little hotel with wonderful hosts. Parking is available in front of the building, and the sea is just 20 steps away, where you will find one of the most beautiful sandy beaches. The main street, or promenade, is 100 meters away, which is just enough distance for the evening noise not to disturb you while being right in the center, surrounded by numerous shops and taverns. The Wi-Fi is excellent, the terraces are comfortable, and the apartments could rival very good hotels with 3+ stars and more. The hosts were truly available 24/7 for any assistance, yet they remained unobtrusive. I highly recommend this accommodation, as well as the location of Potos, which is one of the most beautiful places on Thassos. We were very fortunate to choose the ideal place for our first stay in Thassos. All recommendations.

We have just returned from Potos, where we stayed at Villa Amversa on Nikos Corner. Our impressions are mostly positive, particularly regarding the accommodation, which is located in an excellent spot, just a 2-minute leisurely walk to the beach, where you receive sun loungers with your drink. Additionally, there is a store nearby, well-stocked with everything you need for your stay, and it's only 3 minutes from the town center of Potos, yet far enough from the noise of the beachside cafés. The accommodation is tidy and clean, with bed linens and towels changed every three days, and a maid comes to wipe down the room and bathroom, change the linens, and take out the trash. We had a three-bed studio with a sea view and a lovely, spacious terrace. The hosts are friendly but not overly intrusive. Within the accommodation, there is a mini parking lot for a maximum of five cars, but the entrance is quite poor; low cars can get damaged or even break their bumpers due to the steep incline. However, we also had secured parking across the street next to the church, which is closed off from the main road but still just a 2-minute walk from the villa, so anyone wishing to protect their car can park there. My personal complaint is about the stairs leading to the rooms; they are not a problem when coming from the beach or a walk, but they are chaotic when it comes to carrying bags upon arrival and departure. So, those are my impressions, and I hope they will be useful to someone.

The maintenance of the apartment's hygiene and the change of towels deserve high praise. The hosts were exceptionally kind and friendly. The beach is just a three-second walk away, which is ideal for us with small children! Of course, I must also commend Nikana; congratulations on the organization! When we visit Thassos again, we will choose this accommodation!

I stayed at the property with my wife from August 23 to September 6, 2013. The studio we occupied was entirely in accordance with the descriptions we read on this site. Our request for a studio on the second floor with a sea view was honored, and the linens and towels are changed every three days. One of the owners is always present in case of need. Overall, the impression is positive.

A solid location and accommodation. Cleaning is done every three days, although they skipped one for us. The parking next to the property is inadequate (there is no shade, and the access is too steep for low and long vehicles). There is an option to use a much better large parking area nearby, subject to agreement with the owner.

I vacationed from June 18th to 27th with my wife and small child. We were accommodated in a studio on the first floor of three, overlooking the courtyard. Nikos and his brother are quite nice; you can reach out to them if you need anything. The accommodation is decent, with bed linens and towels changed every three days, and they were clean. The beach is just thirty meters away; it’s not bad, and the water is clear and warm. Potos is a pleasant and charming seaside town, although prices are higher than in other coastal areas, but it’s not too bad. Everything is more expensive than in Belgrade by 30 to 50 cents. I was late one day for my arrival, and that day was charged to me; I did not receive an extra day to stay longer.

We stayed from June 17th to June 27th, with our two children, my husband and I. All praises to the host who honored everything stated in the reservation: from the proximity to the sea, which was 30-40 meters from the house, to the safe, the crib for the child, and changing the bed linens every three days. I truly recommend these apartments to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable vacation. For any uncertainties, the friendly hosts are there to guide you to the most beautiful beaches, restaurants, and attractions. I believe the best indicator of our satisfaction is that we are already looking forward to vacationing in the same place next year!

Period: 20.08.2012-31.08.2012. Amversa is a property (or rather two properties) located literally 50 meters from the beach. Indeed, after just 50 meters, you can simply lay out your towel and dive into the sea! The rooms are excellently equipped, featuring new furniture and all kitchen amenities, with linen and towel changes every three days. The owner and his son are accommodating and polite. Naturally, Nikana provided us with a room boasting a phenomenal view. Hats off! I won’t elaborate on Thassos here, as there are plenty of wonderful blogs and comments from other visitors, but it is a lovely island that offers something for everyone. It may not be Rhodes, Santorini, Crete, or Mykonos, but its accessibility, number of beaches, and overall relaxation make it one of my favorite islands. ENJOY!!!

I stayed with my wife and two adult children from July 29 to August 8, 2012. The Amversa villa is situated in an excellent location, on the main street, just 70-80 meters from the center of Potos, heading towards the exit, and about 30 meters from the beach. The part of the town where it is located is significantly quieter and more suitable for relaxation than the area closer to the entrance. We had a four-person apartment in the villa that is closer to the sea, on the ground floor, with a lovely terrace shaded by olive trees. The owner, Mr. Nikos, was courteous, kind, and accommodating.

The accommodation was excellent! Towels were changed and the room was thoroughly cleaned every three days. Just 50 meters from a decent beach that isn't too crowded. I sincerely recommend Amvresa Nikos Korner and the charming Jorgos, who is the owner.

The studio was fine, not particularly comfortable, but sufficient for those ten days. For the first time in Greece, I experienced that the bed linens were changed every three days, and the studio was regularly cleaned... hygiene was at a commendable level. The beach was nearby, with no crowds, at least in the area we frequented (in front of the Ageri bar). The location was perfect; everything was just a few steps away, yet it was cozy and peaceful. The entire island is beautiful. The marble beach left the strongest impression on me, a magical place that truly needs to be experienced.

The host is exceptionally kind and pleasant; you can turn to him for help with anything you need, so I can recommend this accommodation to everyone!

In June 2012, I stayed with my wife. We were pleased with the accommodation, particularly the kindness of our host. I highly recommend the courteous organizer Ana, as she is very professional and trustworthy.

Potos offers everything you might need: shops, two butcheries, two bakeries, a pharmacy, a clinic, a small amusement park at the main intersection, a small children's playground at the top of the shopping street near the clinic, a beautiful sandy beach, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. It is filled with trees and flowers, and the scent of linden or delicate white flowers wafts from every yard. There are mosquitoes, but they can be managed with a tablet device; I haven't noticed any wasps. We didn't use the walking path to Limenarija as the children preferred to roam around the center and enjoy their leisure time. The majority of tourists here are from our country and Romania, mostly families with small children, so playmates can be found everywhere.

I traveled with my family in July 2010. Amversa's house truly boasts an excellent location if you wish to explore the numerous beaches of Thassos. The accommodation is of a very good standard and is equipped with all the necessary amenities. The hosts are exceptionally kind, and I can only speak highly of them! The house is located just a few meters from the beach and a short walk from the main street.

Here’s the thing: we vacationed in mid-July 2011, a family with one child, aged 8. The villa is situated in a very beautiful location, just 200-300 meters from the center and the promenade, yet far enough away that you don’t hear the evening noise. The beach is only 20-30 meters away, leading to a section east of the central area, which is also lovely, clean, and well-maintained, but without the crowds. There is an area with and without sun loungers. The villa is quite nice, newer, regularly cleaned, and the linens and towels are changed every three days. The apartments are beautiful and spacious, with lovely terraces, especially those overlooking the sea. The hosts are excellent and unobtrusive, highly recommended, with a slight advantage being the interior house, Nikos. It is very easy to find and has parking available.
