The accommodation is truly just as depicted in the pictures and is equipped with everything necessary for a short stay. The terrace is spacious and pleasant, and we particularly enjoyed the visits from the cat that came to socialize with us. The location is excellent, close to the center and the beach, and having a parking spot meant a lot to us. The host is kind and attentive, welcoming us with refreshments and sending us off with gifts from his garden. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in an apartment with two separate rooms, each with its own bathroom. Cleaning cloths and dish detergent were provided, along with towels that are changed every five days, shampoo, and soap for the toilet. There is ample cookware for those who wish to prepare their own meals. The accommodation is spacious and tidy, featuring two terraces: a small one at the entrance and a larger one on the opposite side. The air conditioning works perfectly and is not charged extra. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, and parking is available in front of the accommodation. If we return to Potos, Villa Panos will undoubtedly be our choice.

The accommodation is clean, and the owner is exceptionally kind. Although we arrived very early, around 9 a.m., he welcomed us immediately and opened the apartment without any issues. He brewed coffee and brought us refreshments. If we were to return to Thassos, we would come back solely for the accommodation and the owner. Highly recommended!

The welcome at Villa Panos was unforgettable. The owner prepared coffee, sweets, ice cream for the child, fruits, vegetables, and cold water—everything to refresh and invigorate us after our journey. The apartments are extremely comfortable, featuring beautiful terraces. Everything was clean and tidy from the moment we arrived until the last day of our vacation. Panos took out the trash from the apartments daily, cleaned the terrace and the apartment. For his birthday, he prepared dinner for all of us who were guests in the apartments. He provided us with flyers detailing everything we should see and visit on the island. Unfortunately, I developed bronchitis in the meantime, and when Panos learned of this, he made me homemade chicken soup for a swift recovery. Additionally, he allowed us to use the grill at his tavern, so we all cooked fish together and enjoyed each other's company. In the end, he sent us off with gifts of honey, olive oil, and Greek coffee. I can confidently say that I have never experienced such hospitality, kindness, warmth, and generosity in Greece before. My family and I will cherish the beautiful memories of Thassos, not only for its natural beauty but also for the wonderful experience and stay at Villa Panos, graciously provided by its owner.

All praises to the kindest owner of the accommodation and all recommendations for staying at Villa Panos. We were welcomed with coffee, rakija, and sweets made from various fruits from Thassos, along with tourist guidance in the form of verbal instructions and brochures. A special surprise awaited us on the table in the form of a bottle of wine, fruits, and candies. The hygiene was at a high level, and the owner provided all necessary consumables for the guests. Lastly, another pleasant surprise - the souvenirs delighted everyone, both young and old (coffee, olive oil, honey with nuts, shells). Truly generous. The most beautiful part of the apartment is the large balcony under the vine, from which we had a magnificent view.

In my opinion, there is no better accommodation and hospitality than Villa Panos in Potos. All praise goes to the owner of the villa.

As I read the comments, I was somewhat skeptical; it seemed too perfect and too good to be true. I thought, well, some people are satisfied with little things, small signs of attention, and then euphorically write their opinions about the owner... I mean, we aren't overly demanding either; we know we are going to private accommodation and that it’s not a five-star hotel, but... But... Panos is the best and most courteous owner I have ever met. I have never had unpleasant experiences with accommodation owners, but this man deserves a 10 out of 10... Perhaps even a 16 out of 10, if such a grading exists. Upon our arrival, he welcomed us with rakija, coffee, sweets, ice cream, and juice for the kids, helped us with our luggage, and after we were fully refreshed, directed us to our accommodation. He was there every day when needed, and honestly, the accommodation was such that he didn’t even have to fuss over us. You know that feeling when you unpack and nervously push your suitcases under the French bed, only to find dust from 2018? Well, that was impossible here; the accommodation was impeccably clean, spacious, and had absolutely everything needed for our stay. For 10 days, we didn’t lack even the smallest detail. We stayed in a five-person apartment and had two air conditioners, two terraces, two refrigerators, three tables, a fully stocked kitchen with dishes and utensils; in other words, everything was just like home. Also, although Nikana told me during the reservation that there were no mosquito nets, there are indeed mosquito nets, and besides the parking in front of the building, Panos provided a fenced parking area about 10 meters from the villa, meaning he thought of every detail. Every day was an absolute pleasure, and on our last day, he gave us all gifts as a small token of appreciation. This time, I officially toured the entire island in a circle, meaning the parts I hadn’t visited the first time I was on the island. However, if we ever go to Thasos again, we will definitely go to him.

From assisting with our luggage to understanding that we arrived from a journey and wished to refresh ourselves before discussing the further payment procedure. When we descended into the garden, we were greeted with a frappe and homemade rakija alongside their specialty fruit in honey. In the accommodation itself, there was wine and fresh fruit with a welcoming message to Potos and Villa Panos! A minor complaint, but negligible compared to everything else regarding the accommodation, is the discomfort of the sleeping mattress. We chose accommodation in a peaceful part of Potos, where we could enjoy our holiday while still being close to the beach and the center. Our host, Panos, welcomed us very warmly and cordially, offering us homemade rakija and sweet preserves made from figs, oranges, and walnuts, serving us right in the beautiful courtyard in front of the villa, shaded by the grapevines. The apartment consists of two rooms and, of course, a lovely terrace under the grapevine, overlooking the olive trees, a church, and in the distance, the sea and Mount Athos. We reveled in the beautiful view and the shade provided by the grapevines. Panos is a true host in every sense, and this holiday will remain a cherished memory precisely because of him. He made every effort to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable at all times. Everything is clean and lovingly maintained. A warm recommendation for anyone who wishes to feel as comfortable as at home.

The apartment was clean and tidy, consisting of two bedrooms, an extra kitchen, a spacious balcony, two bathrooms, two air conditioning units, three refrigerators, and so on—exactly as described by the Nikana agency. The hosts were truly pleasant people, with Mr. Panos always cheerful and sociable. One evening, he even prepared a barbecue for everyone. If we vacation in Thassos again, we would gladly stay with Mr. Panos once more.

Two young couples were guests at the two-bedroom apartment of Panos House from July 18 to 28, 2015. We have nothing but praise for the host Panos and his family. They are exceptionally kind people, always smiling, ready to assist, and very willing to create a pleasant evening for their guests. Socializing over a barbecue is a must. The apartment is cleaned daily, and towels and linens are changed every five days. I would also like to emphasize that I have never encountered a kinder and more cheerful host. Hats off!
