As stated in the description, the accommodation is a bit further from the beach. You can walk down the street directly to the sea in five minutes, but personally, we did not find it appealing with a three-year-old child. However, it is advisable to head left towards Golden Beach. A car will be essential for reaching the beach and visiting other beaches; my personal favorite was Glifoneri Beach, about a twenty-minute drive from the accommodation. Regarding the accommodation itself, we were extremely satisfied; there is a large yard for the children and a grill for us adults. The owner provided us with absolutely everything we requested. We will definitely return, and I recommend others who are hesitant to come and see for themselves... they will not regret it.

The accommodation is phenomenal, clean, and comfortable. The yard is ideal, and the children played and enjoyed themselves all day while we grilled in the summer house. The hosts are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

The incredibly kind and attentive landlady Eleni, a very beautiful and spacious courtyard, perfect for families with children. The location is also excellent for exploring the island. If we return to Thassos, we will definitely choose Kastrinou studios.

We spent 15 days in a four-person studio. Our bed linens were changed three times, and we received clean towels every three days. The landlady was exceptionally kind. The accommodation is a 15-minute leisurely walk from the center of Skala Potamia, and equally distant from the beautiful Golden Beach.

A very beautiful and pleasant accommodation. The host is exceptionally kind and friendly, dedicated and attentive to every detail. The yard is spacious and beautifully arranged. The apartments are clean and also very nicely decorated, with bed linens changed every three days. What is very important to many, the wi-fi connection is excellent. I highly recommend this place for a delightful holiday in a wonderful setting! We would gladly visit again!

We are pleased with our first holiday on Thassos. Regarding the accommodation, the courtyard is beautiful, the hostess is exceptionally kind and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The location is ideal for a vacation with small children, as the beaches are sandy and the shallow areas are extensive, allowing for enjoyable play. The only issue was the uncomfortable double bed in apartment 6, which felt like sleeping on springs. The hostess partially addressed this by adding a duvet underneath, however, it is evident that the mattress is poor, despite being new.

At Kastrinou Studious in Skala Potamia, Thassos, we spent the most wonderful ten days of our vacation in recent years. Whether it was due to the accommodation itself, the hospitality of the owners and locals, or the natural beauty of the floating forest, we still do not know. Probably all of these factors contributed to our ability to forget about the extraordinary circumstances and quarantines during this crazy pandemic time and indulge in a well-deserved vacation, reminiscent of the good old days. The property consists of eight studios, each up to 25 square meters, with a terrace. You might think that this is quite small for a family of four, but it was just right. The double bed and bunk bed took up most of the room, while the bathroom and kitchenette were perfectly adequate for a ten-day stay. The terrace with a view (studio no. 4) of the sea is exceptional. It is spacious and large, equipped with a necessary sunshade. The cleanliness is a solid five! Bed linens and towels are changed every three days, and you have the necessary supplies for daily maintenance of cleanliness, and if you need anything, it will be provided to you very quickly. What truly enhances this property is the yard. It is enormous, covered with green grass, flowers, a playground for children, swings for adults, and a wonderful area for grilling with a large dining table. The property is located on the main road, making navigation exceptionally easy. The sea is about 700 meters away, as are other markets, restaurants, and bakeries... A few times we even walked to Golden Beach, so without hesitation, this property receives a positive rating for its location. The hostess Eleni is incredible. Charismatic, energetic, and always smiling, she will make you feel at home. She is open to any questions and concerns, which is very important for us first-time visitors to Thassos. It is enough to say that if we decide to vacation in Thassos again next year, which is quite likely, we will choose the same accommodation. We enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere in a tranquil accommodation. The hostess was phenomenal, always at our service. The beach was excellent, and the only drawback was its distance, which we were aware of from the start and were prepared for. The yard was spacious, and we spent every evening there in the company of lovely neighbors. An ideal place for children.

We stayed at Kastrina Studio from July 6 to July 18, 2021, in room number 6 (on the upper floor). Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodation, with a few remarks that we will outline below.

We stayed at this accommodation for 10 days, from September 8, 2019. Our impressions are excellent. The rooms are small, but they are clean and tidy, and towels are changed every three days. The bathroom is quite small, especially the shower cabin. The hostess is very kind and accommodating. The WiFi signal is quite good, both in the rooms and in the yard. The yard is nicely arranged, with several tables for relaxation, a barbecue, sun loungers for adults, and a small play area for children with swings and seesaws. We were with small children, and they enjoyed playing in the yard. Parking is provided, right next to the yard. Overall, an excellent choice.

We spent eight days at Kastrinou Studios, in studio number 1 on the ground floor. This is the studio in green, which has now been transformed into a black-and-white variant with added decorative details that make it even more charming. The accommodation itself is quite decent, with a beautifully maintained courtyard. The studios are comfortable, the beds are cozy, the linens are changed every three days, and you do the cleaning yourself. The kitchen is sufficient for a quick lunch, as is the case in most Greek studios, and frying is not allowed, if that matters to anyone. The landlady is kind, unobtrusive, but available if you need anything. The beach is not close, but if you have a car, it is not a problem at all, as the villa's parking is right next to the main road and everything is quickly accessible. Importantly, it is quiet and peaceful in the evenings, despite being next to the main road. Overall, I recommend this accommodation.
