The Amfitriti Apartments have fully met all our expectations. Exceptionally clean, located in an excellent area.

We stayed in apartment number 9 from July 28th to September 7th with three children (ages 9, 7, and 4), and our impressions are outstanding. The apartment is spacious, clean, and features two large terraces. It includes a bedroom with a double bed, while the living room has a large sofa bed and a loveseat. Televisions are available in both the living room and the bedroom. The friendly son of the host speaks English and was available for anything we needed. Upon entering the apartment, he kindly asked us not to fry fish inside, while everything else was, of course, allowed. The room is regularly cleaned, and bed linens and towels are changed every three days. The yard is large and provides shade for parking cars, along with play equipment for children (slide, swings, etc.). When the drain grate in the bathroom broke due to wear and tear, we called the owner's son, who arrived with his father within five minutes, and they replaced the grate immediately. When we were leaving, the owner gifted us a bottle of homemade liqueur. The only downside is the weak wi-fi signal. We highly recommend this accommodation.

The accommodation comes highly recommended! Everything is as described on the website. The owners are friendly, the location is close to the beach, yet it remains peaceful and quiet. The maid cleans the apartment daily, and the bedding is changed every three nights. This did not bother us since we usually do not cook in apartments, but the owner's note about the prohibition of frying food might be significant for some. All in all, we would return again!

We are currently staying in apartment number 5 and we are extremely satisfied. The apartment is just a two-minute walk from the beach, even with a three-year-old child. The owner kindly welcomed us, and we haven't seen him since as we haven't needed anything additional. The cleaner maintains the apartment daily, and they changed our bedding on the third night. The yard is spacious and equipped with facilities for children. Parking is in the shade. Everything is simply as described. The price-to-quality ratio of the accommodation is more than satisfactory. We addressed the "problem" of the doors that close with the key left inside by placing a towel over the door, which is quite sufficient to prevent it from slamming shut. The accommodation comes highly recommended!

We spent ten days on vacation, and everything was fantastic. I don't understand why people say that the owners are unfriendly; they just don't speak English very well. These apartments have everything you need: a playground, parking, and the owners have thought of everything, even gifting us some uzo. For those who claim there are no restaurants, the description states that they will not be operating in the 2024 season. Highly recommended; we would return.

We stayed as a family at accommodation number 2 at the end of June. We were personally satisfied with the lodging; it was comfortable, cozy, and clean. They cleaned the room and changed the linens every three days. The courtyard is beautiful, and our daughters were thrilled with the amenities provided for children. The hosts are exceptionally dedicated to maintenance, especially of the yard. This accommodation comes highly recommended. The owner's son is extremely kind and speaks English well. We personally had a wonderful experience.

An excellent accommodation, situated in a superb location in a tranquil part of Thassos, isolated from noise. A beautiful courtyard with a playground for children, rooms were cleaned daily, and the owners were very kind.

The apartments are decent, and the maintenance of hygiene is quite satisfactory. Everything corresponds to the description on the website. However, what truly ruined our vacation, making all the aforementioned details seem insignificant, was the exceptional rudeness, lack of manners, and unprecedented insolence of the apartment owners. Unfortunately, we experienced our children accidentally closing the door from the outside three times, leaving the key inside. The third time happened in the evening around 10 PM, and as uncomfortable as it was for us, we had to call the owners to unlock it for us. I must note that they live just 10 meters from the apartment, in the same yard. The owner lady came and, in that evening silence, yelled at us, barged into the apartment like a cowboy, got in our faces, and waved her arms, then shouted to her husband, who yelled from his terrace about how he would deal with us the next day. My husband and I were shocked, and the children cried, thinking they had created a huge problem with no solution. The next morning, they came again, this time the son, who speaks a bit of English, and the mother, and they started arguing with us on the same topic once more. We tried to explain to him in the kindest way possible that it was not intentional, that it simply happened, that our doors function differently, and that the children unfortunately forget, that it literally happens in a second, but he wouldn’t let us get a word in. For us, it was truly harassment and bullying, especially since we paid 850 euros. They accused us of intentionally leaving the key in the apartment while we were away so that the air conditioning would run all day, and then pretending in the evening that we accidentally left the key inside. We were left speechless. They could have easily checked this since the cleaner cleaned the apartment every day while we were out, and she could have seen that the air conditioning was never on. But, NO! They were not interested in hearing anything. The day before our departure, they came again and insisted that we tell them the exact time we would check out of the apartment. Although the voucher stated that check-out was until 12 PM, they claimed that was not true and that we had to leave earlier. If there were an option, they would have certainly received a big fat zero from me!

Beautifully described in the offer, there were no "surprises". The location itself is smaller and lacks any promenade or attractions. If you don't mind getting into the car, which we did every day, you can change beaches and explore the island. However, there is a decent beach down the street. The yard is spacious with play equipment for children. The estate is part of the Tasos olive growers' association, so we bought both oil and dried olives from them. All in all, we would do it again. :-)

An excellent and reliable accommodation. Highly recommended.

By far the most beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed in. The villa boasts a spacious courtyard with parking under the olive trees, and within the courtyard, there is a large variety of ornamental plants, as well as olive, pomegranate, and lemon trees, among others. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. What mattered most to us was that the room was exceptionally clean upon our arrival; the accommodation is cleaned daily, and cleanliness includes changing the linens and towels every 3 to 4 days. The villa is situated on a quiet dead-end street, making it very peaceful and safe for children to run around and play without a care in the world.

Apartment 4+1 Spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean apartment. Highly recommended for families with small children. A large yard with a mini park, safe for play.

We stayed from July 30th to August 5th in apartment number 1. Everything was neat, clean, and well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed the terrace shaded by the natural cover of grapevines. The oleanders, pines, and olive trees lend a unique charm to the meticulously maintained courtyard. The beach is just a few minutes away, as are the tavern, market, and bakery. Skala Sotiros captivated us with its authenticity.

The hosts were exceptional, the apartment was beautiful, and the surroundings were perfect for children.

A lovely accommodation for a family holiday with friends.

An exceptionally well-maintained large yard, everything is tidy and clean. It is conveniently located near the beach and shops, yet secluded enough for children to run freely in the yard. The nearby beach is also beautifully arranged. Highly recommended for families with young children. In the evenings, the yard fills with children of various nationalities, making it a fun and educational environment for them. Do not go to Thassos without mosquito repellent :)

Indeed, we were quite fond of this villa. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything necessary for a short stay. The outdoor area was expansive, featuring a playground while maintaining a serene atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

This was our first vacation with the kids (4 and 2 years old), and the main criterion in our search was that the villa has a yard. We got exactly that. The yard is spacious and equipped with facilities for children, making it ideal for playful little ones. The villa itself is phenomenally designed, allowing for complete privacy among guests. It is evident that the owners considered the privacy of their guests. Our apartment was cleaned every day, and every three days our linens were changed. Overall, they maintain the apartments very well. The only downside was the auxiliary bed (a pull-out sofa) which was quite uncomfortable. On the other hand, the bed in the bedroom was excellent. It would also be good if dishwashing liquid and a sponge were available to guests. Skala Sotiros may be small, but it has everything you need. A market, bakery, a few small restaurants, and the location of Skala is such that the most attractive beaches on the western coast of Thassos are all within reach. All in all, we are extremely satisfied, and this was our first family vacation exactly as it should be, truly memorable.

We spent three nights in an apartment and seven in a studio for two with an extra bed on the first floor. The accommodation is truly as depicted in the pictures - very tidy, with a beautifully arranged courtyard and parking in the shade of olive trees. We appreciated that the terraces are isolated from one another, providing a sense of privacy. The rooms themselves are in excellent condition, the furniture is relatively new and well-coordinated. The only drawbacks, as others have mentioned, are the weak internet in the rooms and the occasional smell of sewage (briefly in the evenings, not all day long). In any case, we are very satisfied and would gladly return.

The accommodation is situated in a tranquil location, just a few minutes from the pharmacy, market, and the coast. The owner has a tavern on the premises, which is quite convenient. It is ideal for families with children and comes highly recommended. Cleanliness is regularly maintained. There are minor drawbacks listed below, but the overall opinion is: the accommodation is excellent!

An excellent quality-to-price ratio. The studios are practical, beautiful, and impeccably clean, complemented by a dreamlike garden. The guesthouse features its own restaurant, offering superb traditional cuisine. Access to the various beaches in the area is effortless. I wholeheartedly recommend it! Rating: 10

We have just returned from Skala Sotiros and the Amfitriti accommodation. We stayed in a four-person apartment number 5, located on the first floor. The accommodation is good, the yard is excellent for children, and the location is perfect for a peaceful vacation. There are shops and bakeries nearby. The only complaints are about the lack of mosquito nets in some apartments, which led to us being bitten by mosquitoes. In the bathroom, there is a shower cabin with a door that has fallen off, causing water to spray all over the bathroom. There is also limited space in the kitchen for storing clean dishes, and the refrigerator does not cool properly. Overall, it is a nice accommodation, but some details need to be improved to make the vacation more comfortable.

Amfitriti Apartments - Skala Sotiros The apartment we stayed in was quite spacious, tidy, and clean. It is located in a tranquil part of the town, approximately 150 m from the beach. The yard is truly well-kept and large. The only drawback is the absence of mosquito nets.

Apartment 10 is spacious and clean. While it lacks a private terrace, this does not pose a problem, as the entrance from the apartment is ample and features chairs overlooking a beautifully landscaped courtyard. The layout of the apartment is tailored to meet essential needs. The courtyard is spacious and suitable for children. We appreciate that there is ample parking available. The location serves as an ideal base for walks around the entire island, although it cannot be said that the nearby beach is poor. I warmly recommend it for a family vacation. A downside is the presence of many mosquitoes.

The prices are slightly elevated considering the studio's location within the house. We did not have a terrace, but rather a passageway, an uncovered area in front of the studio in the courtyard for dining - studio no. 10. The internet signal is weak; one must stand by the window. The villa has its own parking and a beautifully landscaped courtyard, located about 300 meters from the beach.

The accommodation, namely the villa, is quite satisfactory, but concerning our apartment A2, number 11, I can say the following: beneath our window was a sewage drain, which resulted in a very unpleasant odor both outside and inside the apartment. We did not have internet in our apartment, despite it being mentioned in the villa's description. When we inquired with the owner regarding this matter, we received a response indicating that they had no information about the internet in that apartment. As for hygiene, we have no complaints, as the lady cleaned almost every other day, and the linens and towels were changed every three days.

We vacationed in the second half of August, staying at the Amfitriti apartments. Our family, consisting of two children aged 4 and 16, encountered an unfortunate circumstance, similar to Vladan, as we were placed in the basement. However, unlike his apartment No. 10, we were next to apartment No. 11. The difference is that ours was a ground-floor apartment with two normal windows. Perhaps my comment may not be clear to some, but apartment No. 10 is truly the worst and should be avoided. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and towels and bed linens were regularly changed, so I won’t repeat that. It is true that our terrace was a passage, so it cannot be called that. We did not have wifi, but it did not bother us much, as we were with friends who were staying above us, so we used their wifi while enjoying coffee. The hosts did not leave a positive impression, as they do not speak English, and the children acted as our translators, making communication a bit challenging, but it did not negatively affect our view of the accommodation. There is a large yard, activities for children, and the beach is fairly close, although it is not as attractive as other beaches on Thassos, but it should not be overlooked. The place is small, with one bakery, a shop, and a pharmacy. For those who enjoy peace and quiet, I highly recommend it, but for those who prefer a more urban setting, it is best to avoid the stairs on the west side. Our friends stayed in two three-bed apartments, which are smaller but have nice terraces on both sides. It should be noted that it may be incorrect to use the term apartment, as it actually refers to studios, while the apartments are on the second floor, at a higher price. Mosquitoes were not a problem, as there are also mosquito nets.

This is likely a decent accommodation. I believe that the apartments on the ground and upper floors are excellent, but unfortunately, we were placed in the basement, six steps below ground level. Our window was at shoulder height (I am 196 cm tall). I often found myself by that window, as it was the only place where I could connect to the wi-fi, which must have looked quite amusing and uncomfortable from the outside since I was staring at everyone’s legs as they passed by. We did not have a terrace, but rather a shared one that was also a passage; fortunately, it wasn’t in the way of other guests. Naturally, the owners were not interested in changing our accommodation, which I assume was due to the fact that the entire complex was occupied, so I cannot claim whether they would have accommodated us or not. In an attempt to have "NIKANE" assist us in relocating, I received a response stating that I had not specified anywhere that I did not wish to be below ground level, so be sure to mention this if you choose this accommodation. Otherwise, the property and garden are very beautiful and well-maintained. The location is decent, just a 10-minute walk to the beach and the same distance to the market, bakery, and center. Daily cleaning was provided, and towels and bed linens were changed three times in ten days. The extra bed is indeed just an extra, and an adult cannot rest comfortably in it.

We can only express our praise for these apartments. Everything is exceptionally clean, the apartments are beautifully decorated and spacious. The yard is excellently arranged and very suitable for families with children, as it is fenced and peaceful. The owners are wonderful people with whom we have remained in contact. Every wish of ours was fulfilled. We would also commend their tavern where they prepare excellent food. Highly commendable and recommended.

A perfect property. The owners have thought of every detail. As this is my seventh year in Thassos, I have stayed in various accommodations in previous years, but this one is by far the best.

I must say that for Greek standards, this accommodation is more than satisfactory. The studios are spacious, the furniture is relatively new, and the courtyard is vast and beautiful. Special praise goes to the cleanliness maintenance and the regular replacement of towels and bed linens (every three days). This was our fourth time vacationing in Greece, and Studios Amfitriti has been the best accommodation we have experienced so far. All praises! I would recommend this accommodation to families with small children, as the location itself is quite small, peaceful, and devoid of crowds, making it unsuitable for younger people seeking a vibrant nightlife.

The apartments are situated in a tranquil area, featuring a beautifully landscaped garden as depicted in the photographs. They are not far from the beach, which is decent, although there are certainly more attractive ones that require a drive to reach. The apartments are quite spacious, at least the double rooms, and housekeeping comes almost every day to tidy the beds and clean the bathroom, while towels are changed every three days. Given the greenery and trees surrounding the villa, there are very few insects. We are very satisfied with the comfort, cleanliness, and peaceful location.

We stayed at Amfitriti from August 19 to 28, 2013. We are extremely satisfied with the accommodation; everything is even more beautiful than in the pictures. It is clean and tidy, the rooms are cleaned daily, and the linens and towels are changed every 2-3 days. It is perfect for children... Our boy, who is a year and a half old, was thrilled with the yard. The beach is very close, sandy and ideal for kids, so I warmly recommend this accommodation to anyone planning a trip to Thassos with children.

We stayed at Suzana Studio from September 9th to September 19th, 2012. I was there with my husband and our 8-month-old son. Initially, we received a large studio (3+1) at our request, but to our surprise, in such a spacious area, there were two separate single beds and one pull-out bed in another room, which was not suitable for us due to the baby. After discussing with the landlady, we changed apartments and moved to a smaller one with beds that suited us, one double and one single, but everything else was much smaller, including the kitchen and bathroom, which had an exceptionally small shower cabin for men, especially :) However, this did not bother us as we mostly explored this beautiful island and spent the least amount of time in the room. Regarding cleanliness and the maintenance of the apartment, it is at a commendable level. Considering that we have been vacationing in Greece for years, I must truly commend the cleaning of the apartment, as well as the changing of towels and bed linens. The landlady, as already mentioned, is genuinely kind and always available if you need assistance. The restaurant located within the studio offers excellent food at reasonable prices, and the staff there is fantastic. I cannot comment on the beach, which is just a few meters from the studio, as we did not see it; we mostly visited popular beaches, recommended beaches that are beautiful, and we spent time at the city beach beneath the café-bar POCO LOCO, as we had excellent service and lovely shade for the baby :) The most beautiful impression left on us was from MERMERNA PLAŽA, which you must visit; it is a sight to behold. Finally, although it should have been mentioned at the beginning :) I must commend the girls working at the Nikana agency, especially Nataša, whom I greet on this occasion, as they went above and beyond to meet all our requests!!! I would also add that there are bees on Thassos; they will always visit you when you eat.

From July 12 to 23, 2012, my wife, our seven-year-old child, and I stayed at Amfitriti Apartments. We were accommodated in a three-bed studio that fully met our expectations. In fact, it was even more spacious than depicted in the photographs on the website. The studio is located on the ground floor and is particularly interesting as it has exits on two opposite sides of the courtyard. It is furnished with new furniture, and the kitchen is modern and adequately equipped. Cleaning is done daily, while bed linen and towels are changed every three days. The courtyard is exceptionally well-kept and maintained, filled with numerous details, greenery, flowers, and olive trees. It is spacious, has toys for children, well-arranged barbecue areas, and deck chairs scattered around, beautifully illuminated at night. There is a parking area in part of the courtyard, nestled among the olive trees. It is remarkably peaceful and pleasant for relaxation. The hosts are friendly. The accommodation is in a quiet location, yet close to the center and the town beach. Skala Sotiros is a small place, and the beach is not crowded, which suited us perfectly. This is a great spot for those wishing to explore the island while having a quality base for rest and enjoyment. Although the property description states that there is wireless internet, the signal is only available in the second building – the restaurant located in the same courtyard. There is no internet in the rooms or on the terraces, which should be highlighted in the description.
