Accommodation description

**Maritsa’s Rooms is located in a new part of Stavros, about 60m from the beach. It offers a very nicely landscaped courtyard, with a shared barbecue and outdoor seating and dining area, as well as private parking. **

The nearest grocery store is 600m away, while the bakery is 1200m away, as far as the center.

It has double studios (15m2), with double or twin single beds and triple studios (approx. 20m2), with double and twin beds or three single beds.

All units are air-conditioned, they have internet access, TV, fully equipped kitchen (two-ring grill and small fridge with frieze), mosquito nets, bathroom and terrace.

Bed linen and towels are changed every third day, while the guests by themselves maintaine hygiene in their studio.

Maritsa’s Rooms is ideal for families and travelers who want a peaceful holiday in great accommodation near the beach, and they don’t mind a little more distance from downtown Stavros.

I chose the accommodation exclusively because it is described as pet-friendly, believing—based on the information provided—that the yard shown in the photos would be available for dogs. That, however, is not the case: the owner does not allow dogs to roam in the yard. In addition, it is not permitted to leave a dog alone in the accommodation, even for a short while. These two points, however minor they may seem at first glance—or even expected, given that there are explanations for them (dog waste in the yard, barking from a dog left alone in the accommodation)—nonetheless had a clear impact on the quality of my stay. My impression is that the owner advertises the property as pet-friendly in order to generate greater turnover. Please note this is my third holiday with a dog, and in my first two trips I did not encounter anything like this, so my expectations were different.

Booking and cancellation terms

Deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Remaining balance should be payed first day upon arrival. If cancelled 21 or more days prior to arrival, paid money will be fully refunded. If cancelled at any time later, paid money is non-refundable. In the case of early departure, 50% of remaining days will be charged.
