Detailed description:
This coast is mostly sandy, with a long shallow area and plenty of space for all visitors, so there is usually no crowd. Towards Nea Mudanya, there is also a water park, so this can be a great opportunity for fun with children.
The place itself has shops, bakeries, and plenty of restaurants and beach bars along the entire promenade, which is characterized by palm trees and flowers. All accommodations are on a flat terrain and not far from the beach.
In addition to the excellent beach, Paralia Dionisiou also has a large park, with plenty of facilities for children, near the beach.
The beach is connected to the beach in Nea Mudanya, so this can be a great opportunity for sightseeing, walking, and shopping in larger supermarkets in this place.
Nearby Nea Plagia and Nea Flogita are places connected by the coast, as well as a long and very wide sandy beach, perfect for families with children.
In the village itself, there is a very beautiful church of St. John the Baptist Forerunner.
Near Paralia Dionisiou is the famous Petralona Cave, which hides the fossilized remains of the oldest European: a fossilized skull over 800,000 years old. Read more about it here.
This whole coast is very popular among the people of Thessaloniki, and tourism for foreign visitors has been booming in recent years.
