There are six beaches in Kavala. Arriving from the east, from the direction of Thessaloniki, the first beach is Toska, then Batis beach, Kalamitsa and Rapsani, while the Perigiali and Aspri Ammos beach are located at the exit of the city.

Toska beach

Toska beach is 5km from Kavala. It’s a small sandy cove where Bomo Tosca Beach accommodation is located.

Batis beach

Batis beach is sandy, 4km from Kavala and has a bar, a restaurant, a children’s playground and a swimming pool.

Kalamitsa beach

Kalamitsa beach is located in the city, it’s narrow and 700m long. It’s awarded the Blue Flag for very clean water. The beach is equipped with dressing rooms, showers, sunbeds with umbrellas and bars. It’s sandy and suitable for families with young children.

Rapsani beach

Rapsani beach is closest to the city center. It’s narrow and 450m long with a road above it.

Perigiali and Aspri Ammos

Perigiali and Aspri Ammos beach are connected and located at the exit of Kavala.

Our advice is to visit other beaches in this region during your stay in Kavala, such as Nea Iraklitsa, Palio, Vrasidas and of course the famous Ammolofi beach.
